Circa 1900 Henry Alcock& Co. semi-porcelain platter. Measures 8"x11" This rare English platter is transferware in the Emerald pattern. The design of delicate white flowers on a soft green background alternates with green flowers on a creamy white background. The segments are divided by graceful gold curly-cues. In addition. Tiny gold dots decorate the centers of the white flowers. The scalloped edges are the finishing touch to this beautiful serving dish. Over the next week or two. I will be offering for auction at no reserve, individual pieces from a fabulous set of Flow Blue China purchased from a wonderful estate in Lynn, Massachusetts. The Flow Blue set is in the Touraine Pattern and was manufactured by both Stanley Pottery Company and Henry Alcock& Company in the same pattern design. The Touraine Pattern features a floral design with a very dark blue border and has a slightly embossed design. It is a vintage set, and contains no reproductions pieces. The Stanley English Registry Mark on the back indicates a Circa date of 1898; while the Henry Alcock& Co. backstamp indicated a Circa date of 1891- 1900. Altogether this full set consists of service for 12 and has many serving pieces. For your consideration I'm offering a beautiful antique(circa 1800's) meat platter by Henry Alcock& Co. made in England)~ This features raised scalloped embossed sides with gold leaf; pink roses. and blue forget-me-knot flowers. The center is graced with 3 pink roses. It's done in semi-porcelain with transferware flowers. Measures: 14" x 9 1/4" This has light surface utensil marks commensurate with age and use-but not bad! England Parisian Porcelain HAWTHORN Pattern 12.5" x 9.5" Serving Platter Rd No 67716 ~~ circa 1880-1910~~ This platter is 100+ years old: the hallmark on the back dates this somewhere between 1880- 1910. It is rectangular in shape- 12 1/2" by 9 1/2" by 1 1/2" deep. The gilded(gold) trim along the edge is superb with minimal loss. The brown transferware hawthorn leaf& flower pattern is hand tinted with pink& yellow. On the reverse is the maker's stamp which reads: PARISIAN PORCELAIN HENRY ALCOCK& CO. ENGLAND HAWTHORN Rd No 67716 There is also the number 287 impressed into surface. This beauty comes to you in fabulous condition: There is one discoloration pinpoint mark in the glaze in the lower left, one fleabite chip along the rim on the upper left(see close-up photos) plus light ... moresurface scratches but otherwise no damage& NO CRAZING! Antique Henry Alcock Semi Porcelain, Touraine Flow Blue 15" Serving Platter
Beautiful large turn of the last century platter(mark was used 1890-1910) is in very good condition. One chip on the bottom edge that is 1/4" long and 1/8" wide(not visible from above) No cracks or crazing. The two lines of gold trim are only very slightly worn and there are only a couple of light scratches on the bottom and a few tiny manufacturers flaws. Remarkable condition for its age. Platter measures 15" by 10 5/8"

Offering for sale a set of three Henry Alcock& Co. England ironstone red transferware serving platters in the Venetian pattern. The small platter is 8" x 12" and has discoloration and five chips on the back. The mid-size platter is 9- 1/2" x 14" and has a paint spot on the back but otherwise in very good condition for it's age! The large platter is 11" x 17" and has four small chips on the back. THIS IS A UNUSUAL. SEMI PORCELAIN, HENRY ALCOCK, FLOW BLUE 17" X 13-1/2" PLATTER. IT WAS MADE AT STOKE-ON- TRENT, IN 1880-1910. THE PATTERN IS HOMER. THERE IS A GREEN MAKERS MARK. THE FIGURES ON THE PLATTER LOOK LIKE KING HENERY THE EIGHT, THERE ARE FOUR FIGURES THAT LOOK LIKE ANN BOLEYN. THERE IS A 1/2" FACTORY FLAW. THE GOLD TRIM IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION

Henry Alcock and Co England Oval floral purple transferware dish. The dish is 9 7/8" long and 5 1/2" wide at center point. The dish stands 1 1/2" high. The pottery mark on the back was used from 1891-1910. The dish was found at an estate sale. The dish has one flea bite on the front and a chip on the back bottom base as seen in the photo.
