Wedgwood "Peruvian" Mulberry Ironstone Transferware Platter
This platter measures 12"x15.25" and was made by the J Wedgwood Co. It is in the pattern Peruvian and is Mulberry Ironstone transfer ware. There are two very tiny glaze flecks on this piece. one on the front and the other on the outer rim there is also some very tight crazing. There is no other damage at all! Mulberry ironstone is very hard to find and this piece is beautiful!

Welcome to Annsys Place! Here is a great platter which measures 13 3/4 inches x 10 1/2 inches which was made by Podmore& Walker in England Circa: 1850-1860. This pattern is known as"Washington Vase" and is done in a mulberry transferware against the white background. What a striking palette for contrast! I do not find any cracks or chips on this platter. For accuracy. There maybe a couple glaze bubble pops; however, this is only to be totally accurate, it does not compromise the appearance. This platter would make an awesome addition to any collection or to be used as a decorative accessory. Shipping will be paid by the buyer. Antique Davenport Cyprus mulberry platter staffordshire ironstone transferware
Just gorgeous antique Davenport large platter in the Cyprus pattern. The color is black or Mulberry or some perople call it flow black I think. Excellent condition. No chips or repairs that I can see. No discoloration or crazing. There is one?glaze pop which is tiny and I have photographed it(see last photo) but I am mentioning this for accuracy as it is barely noticeable. I had this platter hung on my wall and it is quite heavy. So I ordered a special heavy duty hanger which is currently on the platter which I am happy to include, or I can easily remove it if the buyer prefers. John Alcock Mulberry / Black Transferware Mini Platter "Vincennes pattern"
I love this platter because it is so tiny. It is only 10 1/2" wide by 8" deep. Almost a mini platter. This platter was made in the mid 1800's in England. It is a mulberry or black transferware piece. The transfer pattern is called Vincennes and it is in varying shades of black, gray, and white. The platter is marked on the back John Alcock Cobridge, Vincennes. There is an impressed letter or number. The plate shows wear on the bottom and I can just envision it on a table during Civil war times. The plate has no cracks or chips. It has utensil marks on the front from use. There is crazing throughout. There are some areas on the rim where the glaze is rubbed off. The plate rack is not included. This platter is large and heavy. It is a beautiful Mulberry or Black transferware pattern. There are lots of reflections in the pictures due to the shiny glaze. The color flows to the back of the platter putting it in the category of flow mulberry. It is 17" wide by 14" deep. This platter was made in the mid 1800's in England. It is marked Walker and was made in England. The platter shows wear on the bottom and I can just envision it on a table during Civil war times. The plate has no cracks. It has one chip on the rim that can only be seen from the back. It has utensil marks on the front from use. There is crazing throughout. this platter weighs over 6 pounds! This platter has very thick and shiny glaze. There are lots of reflections in the pictures due to the shiny glaze. It also has dark rich Flow Mulberry. I'm offering 2 Antique Ironstone Black Mulberry Transferware platters. In the Rhone Scenery pattern, produced by Thomas, John and Joseph Mayer, c. 1843-55. Please refer to my photos as they are part of the description. The large platter is in very good condition considering it's age. It is 14" x 18" It has a few flea bites on the lower right side but no larger chips. It has a few utensil marks. One being about 1/2" and stained as shown in the 3rd picture. It also has a small area where the color is lighter-see the 4th picture. These are all slight and do not mar the overall platter. Just mentioning them to be as accurate as possible. The smaller platter is 12 1/2" x 14" See pictures 5-8. It. Too, has a few flea bites but no large chips on front or back. Absolutely Striking! 13" by 10" This platter shows some condition issues which are represented in the pictures above. Antique John Alcock VINCENNES Cobridge Mulberry Transferware Large Platter
From a local New England estate. This serving platter was made by John Alcock in the Mulberry color of the Vincennes pattern. The 13 1/2" L x 10" wide platter features a transferware pattern of building and floral design in a band around the rim and an idyllic scene with buildings, trees, and people in the center. Stamped on the back of the platter is the John Alcock name above, with Cobridge below, and the pattern name in the center. There is also an impressed mark in the ceramic near the edge(see photo) The platter is in remarkably good condition for its age(early to mid 1800's) As expected. There is crazing, some light scratches from use, and glaze pops on the front which we have photographed. Pottery and kiln marks are visible as well. Antique Adams Mulberry"Bologna" 15.25" Platter Antique Adams Staffordshire England platter made between 1820 to 1830s. This is a Mulberry Purple Platter. Made by Adams. It has the impressed"Adams" name on the back. The pattern name is"Bologna" which has a center scene of people in a gondola with stately buildings in the background, flowers, bushes and trees. The border has squiggle garlands with 8 panels of more buildings with people, and flowers. Measures 15.25" wide x 12.25" tall. This is an ironstone piece so the ware is rather thick and heavy. Condition: Made between 1820 to 1830s. Has a 4.25" crack. Has a couple of bubbles in the glaze. Has a couple of nicks, see photos. Edges have some rubbing, and some roughness on parts of the edge.
