18TH CENTURY WEDGWOOD QUEEN'S WARE CREAM WARE FRUIT BASKET UNDERPLATE. GREEN This piece represents an example of the'Useful Wares' that marked the early days of Josiah Wedgwood as a leading pottery manufacturer. Basket shapes were amongst the earliest shapes produced by Wedgwood. This is a basketweave creamware(also called Queen's Ware) under plate with a reticulated border and green highlight trim. The plate is stamped WEDGWOOD with a four dot square and a P mark(date code for 1861? impressed under the glaze. These pieces were made in the late 18th century to early 19th century and were done in plain. Green and brown highlights. No damage, chips or repairs. The dark spot in the bed was residue from a sticker, that dark spot is now gone. Measurements: 10 1/2" x 9 1/2"

English Blue Feather Edge 18 th Century Creamware Staffordshire Platter Wonderful old true 18 th century blue feather edge creamware platter from the Staffordshire region of England. You can tell true 18 th century feather edge pieces from later pieces from the asymmetrical undulating scallop edge with impressed curved lines. They are usually creamware and were made between 1775 and 1800. By 1800 the shell edge became even and symmetrical and were usually pearlware glaze. Early pieces are also rarely marked and so determining where they were made is based on the edge design and the color of the blue. This is a classic piece and more difficult to find since platters often broke due to their size and weight. This platter is in great condition for its age. It is stained. Antique White Gold 18th century PLATTERS peonies handles handpainted RARE
Two superb Antique English Blue and White Platters. They are 9 3/4" across with handles. Unknown maker but the design and porcelain quality feels like 18th century The pattern has Chinese vase on the fence and lovely flowers. The gold line is uneven and hand painted- see the pictures. The border is a butterfly border. And there is embossing to the rims and a gold line. These are very early pieces. The color is lighter than the later versions and the transfer is example of early English porcelain. Close to Flo Blue. You can see that the lines are little fussy and unclear something normal for earlier fransferplalte. The pieces are in good order for their age. There are no chips. Cracks or crazing. This is a lovely Chinese Export Mandarin Canton plate. With an octagonal design. Circa 1790, it has an outdoor nobility scene. The corners of each side are slightly scalloped, this is what makes this plate very unique. It measures 8" x 5.5" It has an intricate border with various colors. Very rare Leeds reticulated basket and tray in green. There is some damage and hairlines as seen in the photos. Some staining to the bottom tray and slight staining to the basket. But overall solid structural condition. Tray measures 10 1/4" long and 8 3/8" wide. The basket measures 9 1/8" long and 7 1/2" wide. Also 2 1/2" tall.
