Alfred Meakin White English Ironstone 13" Rectangle Platter #2 Exc 1890's
This piece came from a collection of depression and mid-century pieces. This would make a wonderful addition to any collection. The condition is great. The speckles however I would like to bring to light again as to ensure the buyer understands their presence. There are not cracks or gauges in this dish, it is flawless as far as those kinds of defects. The speckles are more embedded in to the plate. Meakin & Co.1870's White English Ironstone 16 1/2" Platter Cobridge, England
This is a beautiful. Large(16 1/2" x 12" durable platter ready for 100 more years of use. It is a nice thicker(1/4" ironstone china piece and it has embossed flowers around the edges-a gorgeous Victorian look. It is stamped with the maker's mark and symbol stating Meakin& Co Cobridge.
