Vintage Ironstone Turkey Transfer Platter NSP Fruit border. Black edge
This large ironstone Turkey Platter is hand painted. It measures a good 18&3/4" x 14&1/4" and has a triangle mark and letter NSP or NPS on the backside. The platter is in black and white with small amounts of mauve. Yellow, and green. Similiar platters have King Tom An American Tradition on the backstamp. This has no chips or cracks, just some minor crazing so common to these vintage platters.

2 large primitive ironstone RHINE platter set staffordshire england turkey plate
set of two large platters with transfer ware design from before the turn of the century. pre 1900. the large platter is marked"rhine" as shown in one photo. it measures 17.5 x 14 inch. there is some crazing in the glaze and two minor knicks probably from the firing process. Green Saratoga Ironstone Turkey Platter I have for sale a vintage large turkey-sized ironstone platter made by Willet's Manufacturing Company in the Green Saratoga pattern. It is marked on the bottom as is seen in the photos to the right. There is another mark next to the one shown. But is so light I could not get a photo of the spot. It has no cracks, breaks or repairs. There is a small darkened chip spot on the top side, signs of use on the top as well as the bottom, some loss of the design& some discolorations on the bottom as is also seen in the photos to the right. J Clementson Antique Ironstone Transferware Turkey Platter 18 X 14
This gorgeous antique 18 x 14" Platter is a beauty to behold. As you can see by the marking that is was made by J Clementson in England in the 1840's as indicated with the Phoenix stamping on the back of the plate. This platter is called"Seaweed" as you can read from the stamp picture and I have not been able to locate any other seaweed plates so think it must be hard to find. The seaweed pattern is black on white pottery and is beautiful and delicate. Amazingly. This platter that is 170 years old has no cracks and has only some minor discoloration on top. There is some slight chipping as indicated in the pictures and one sizable chip on the bottom edge that measures 1" x/2" and does not detract from the beauty of the piece. Antique J. Clementson Ironstone Platter Produced: Joseph Clementson registered nine graniteware entries-all with colored transfer patterns between 1842 and 1852. In the 1850's he joined other potteries and produced white granite table and toilet wares in abundance for the American market. In 1865.
