Up for auction today is this Beautiful Antique late 1800's A.J. Wilkinson Royal Ironstone Platter with Copper Tea Leaf center and outer Band. The platter is 16" long and is 11 3/4" wide. Fully marked on the back with the Late R. Alcock Burslem England mark. There are no chips. Nicks or hairline cracks on this platter, and the copper paint is perfect with No Wear. There is light staining from age, but this is always the case with White Ironstone that is this old. Gives the piece character and authenticity. ANTIQUE W & E CORN PURE WHITE IRONSTONE PLATTER 16 3/4" long 11 7/8" wide
This is a pure white ironstone platter which shows little use! See the many photos of all the surfaces which show condition. There is one small scratch in the center that looks like it's from cutting something. There is a ripple in the glaze on the top outer rim which was done during the making. Also on the bottom there is a similar ripple in the glaze. This being said. I will say the condition is excellent. There is a lot of shine which is rare in these old dishes. The mark on the back is blurred but legible. I also have other pieces in my collection with this same mark but clearer. Royal ironstone China, W& E Corn, England" Highly collectible. I will be listing a few other ironstone pieces as well.

I got this big early ironstone platter at a small Maine estate sale last Sunday. It has an impressed mark on the back edge that reads"Ironstone" with something I can not make out preceding that. It des not stay flat as there was a slight roll in the make. It is fabulous on a plate stand. As they showed it at the estate sale. I do not have one big enough to use. It is very heavy. This piece was produced by T&R Boote in Burslem, England, and registered on Sept. 3, 1853. It retains their impressed mark with the shape name and registration diamond. Here is a huge 16" antique chop plate for you. The pattern features a floral and leaf design. There is an incised B on the back and we cant determine what the stands for. Here is an lovely Antique Staffordshire Ironstone Transferware Platter in the PELEW pattern by I believe E. Challinor. This large platter is unsigned by the maker. It only has an incised number 14 and a stamped number 11. It is in very. Very good condition with minimal glaze grazing. There are a few, part of the making tiny gouge like holes( pictured) a couple of glaze flakes and some utensil marks. One corner has some rust colored lines on the edge and there are tiny rust colored dots/marks here and there throughout. There is an odd, small 1/2" or so circle of Blueish glaze coverage on the front edge. The back side has a 1/8" dia. gouge(pictured) far from the rim, which may possibly be a chip? and some nearby glaze crazing and there is a circle line of bluish glaze.it looks like a hairline but it is not, it is glaze. Glaze crazing ... moreappears more prominently on one side of the back of the platter and less so on the corresponding front side. As you can see in the second to the last photo, it still has good shiny glaze coverage! This is a solid and very sound Platter. Measuring 15 3/4" x 12"

You are bidding o n an antique 19th century American ironstone platter made in Cincinnati Ohio by George Scott. It meausres 16 5/8 inches by 11 7/8 inches and it is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and only light normal wear for the age. There are a couple of pit marks and surface marks. Weighs nearly 5 pounds. It is marked George Scott Stone China. Rare maker. W hen purchasing more than one item please wait for my combined shipping invoice before making payment. White Ironstone 16 1/2 " Platter - Potomac Shape - c. 1862
Offered is a beautiful White Ironstone Platter in the Potomac Shape. This shape features a detailed berry pattern and has been nicknamed"Blackberry. It was produced by W. Baker& Co. in Fenton. England and was registered October 23, 1862. This piece retains both the printed and impressed marks, with the shape name. This platter is in very nice overall condition with no chips or cracks. There are some glaze pops and a silt spot from production. As well as some light utensil marks from use. Antique Purple transferware MEDICI platter Ironstone polychrome 1847 16"
A beautiful antique platter in a purple transferware with polychrome paint in the MEDICI pattern by Mellor. Venables& Co. The size is just shy of 16" by about 12 1/8" There are no chips, cracks or repairs. It does have crazing which would be expected and some small spots of discoloration. Typical signs of wear or use. It is marked with the MEDICI pattern cartouche, registry mark and an impressed whiteware mark which I believe says ironstone. Antique J. Clementson Ironstone Platter Produced: Joseph Clementson registered nine graniteware entries-all with colored transfer patterns between 1842 and 1852. In the 1850's he joined other potteries and produced white granite table and toilet wares in abundance for the American market. In 1865. Joseph handed his pottery over to his sons, who changed the name to Clementson Bros. Reference: White Ironstone: A Collector's Guide by Jean Wetherbee. Manufactured by: J. Clementson Phoenix Pottery of Staffordshire. England. Actual Measurement: 12 1/2" x 16" Marking: The bottom is marked: J. CLEMENTSON IRONSTONE STRAWBERRY" in cobalt blue ink-stamped letters.
