HAND MADE DRUM This drum is hand made with unknown wood and animal skin. Wood spikes hold the skin in place and tight across the top. Looking inside the drum you can see the spikes coming through and the work it took to make this drum. There are no hallmarks. Country of origin, date, or other info available. Purchased at an estate sale. The seller had no history info to pass along. It measures 14 inches tall. The drum head is 6 ¼ inches and the bottom is 4 ½ inches. There are no apparent chips. For your consideration is my preowned Vintage Slingerland Chrome Over Wood(COW) rack tom. The tom is 14" in diameter 12" deep. It will need to be cleaned and has some spots on the front where the stick has hit the tom by the previous owner. It shows normal signs of use. The bearing edges are in good shape and the heads go on easy. The inside is very nice. It is missing the adjustment on the muffle but the muffle is there. Flat domestic shipping is $19. This is a beautiful large primitive wood bowl! It is rare because of how large the bowl is. It was used for dough or bread and is in excellent condition with no cracks! The bowl can still be used today or can be used as a decorative piece. It measures 14.25 inches in diamater in one direction and 15 inches in diameter in the other. The bowl is about 5 inches deep and the wood is about 1/2 an inch thick. The bowl is very old and ask such as some marks due to use and age but is in overall excellent condition. Kalamazoo Archtop Acoustic Guitar 1936 KG-21, 14 3/4 Inches Wide, Gibson
You are viewing or bidding on a 1936 Kalamazoo/Gibson KG-21 Arch-top Acoustic Guitar. The guitar is in nice shape for a guitar that is about 75 years old as can be seen by the pictures. It has some small dings along the back of the neck and one scratch on the upper rear of the body that should be mentioned. But overall it is in very nice shape. It is 39 inches long, 14 3/4 inches at the bottom bout and 10 1/4 inches wide at the upper bout. The neck joint is very tight. The action and intonation are good so it is playing well. The nut is 1 3/4 inch. It currently has medium strings and it plays and sounds like a smaller, arch-top Kalamazoo from the 1930's with a fair amount of bass and more midrange sound. I think it has all of the original hardwear, bridge and keys. It is a nice little 75 year old guitar. Showing the topography, towns, transportation lines both current and past, and other landmarks as they existed in 1888. This map is wax engraved and was issued as part of the Rand McNally Business Atlas. This map is genuine. Not a copy or reprint. It may have few minor handling flaws as to be expected in a map this age and large. This map shows its age as the paper has a light brownish hue in the margins along with a few light age spots. I purchased it because it was unique and the seller related that it came from ROME.I cannot vouch for that statement. It is a large piece measuring 14 1/2 inches in diameter. It is all metal, however, the type of metal I cannot validate. It appears to be silver and copper plated. The only marking on the reverse side is the letter P in a green color. That maybe important to someone that knows about this piece but it remains a mystery to me. It is not a piece one would hang since it is not equipped to do so.just a beautiful piece.
