RED WING STONEWARE CHURN LID 3 - 4 GALLON MINNESOTA
This is a churn lid marked 3- 4 that fits a 3 or 4 gallon churn made by Red Wing Stoneware of Red Wing Minnesota. Lid measures 7 ¼” diameter. The round opening for the dasher pole is 1 3/16” diameter. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs- there are a few spots where color or glaze is missing and a rough spot next to the dasher pole opening. These imperfections appear to be from manufacturing, not damage amd are not at all significant in an old churn lid like this. This lid is in really good shape. This crock is an early version of stoneware crocks produced by the Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Crock Company. This is a 4-gallon crock with no chips or cracks noted. It is very nice. While researching this piece I found the following article describing a nearly identical crock at"The clover is one of the earliest known marks of the company. Along with the other markings shown above. The first three markings were typically incised, or cut into the bottom of the clay body, whereas the clover was stamped on with blue ink. This particular blue marking was stamped on. The M stands for McCoy, and the number denotes the size of the crock in gallons. This is a wonderful old crock pitcher! It was made by U.S.A. and is in the Grape& Leaf design. I believe this piece to be over 80 years old. But I do not know the exact date it was manufactured. The glaze is a rich brown with a cream tone on the inside. The pitcher stands around 5 3/4" in height and is about 8" across at the handle/spout. A very nice piece!

This little gem measures approximately 6-3/4" in height(bottom of crock to top of bail) And 4-3/8" in diameter of base. The opening of mouth is 2-5/16" in diameter. The mouth also measures 3-1/16" from outer edge to outer edge in diameter. It is in excellent condition considering its age. A few minor flea bites around the mouth but no cracks. The bail and pin are rusted. I have personally used this in my kitchen for fresh cut flowers and spoon holder. A great addition for your country or primitive kitchen. Antique Stoneware: 19thC. New England Ovoid Crock w/ Cobalt Accents, NR
A primitive 2Gal. Salt-Glazed Crock; early Ovoid form with Cobalt accents on applied lug handles. There is a capacity mark stamped on the collar. This is a New England piece. Likely made in Connecticut sometime around 1860. The overall condition is excellent. There is a surface line in the glaze near the base(lower right) and some minor flaws on the Albany Slip interior; these appear to be production related(see close-ups) No other excuses with this Keeper; displays exceptionally. See photos for complete details and further description. Measures 9"W x 11-3/8"H overall. The inner rim diameter varies from 6-3/4" to 7" The base measures 5-1/2" across; 8.8 lbs. Antique Stoneware Blue Advertising Lambrecht Butter 12 Cent Crock
This advertising piece of stoneware has a lovely ivory color with cobalt blue writing. A great bowl to keep keys and your wallet in or use in the kitchen. It is advertising Lambrecht Butter made in New Jersey and has a 12 cent deposit. Has no chips or cracks that were not original flaws in the making. There is a three veined crack at one of the 12 cent deposits area where the blue ink has flowed into. But then again this was done in the making. It holds 1 1/2 cups so it can be used as a measure. A great antique Jas James Hamilton Greensboro. PA crock. 9.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide. Looks to be a tobacco leaf design on the crock. There are a couple little dings and a possible spider on the back. It does need cleaning as I have not done that. This is a great opportunity to have a beautiful period crock. This R.T. WILLIAMS NEW GENEVA PA ANTIQUE 1800s 2 STONEWARE CROCK POT JUG SCULPTURE is a great example of work from the 1800s. As you can see there is a natural birth mark on this crock that was there and has been there since the firing of this crock. I believe that the maker did it late in the process and felt it better due to the perfection of this piece to just leave it be instead of scraping it. I personally think that it gives it that extra character that I like to see in them. This thing is 12 inches tall and 7 inches from lip to lip. There are no cracks dings or dents. This is a 1966 Quail Casserole Gamebird Cooker by Environmental Ceramics. Inc. of San Francisco, CA. This exciting ceramic cooker brings back the almost forgotten art of clay cookery used so successfully centuries ago. It is a beautiful cobalt blue stoneware terrine. In the shape of a Quail, or Partridge, made by Environmental Ceramics, Inc. dated 1966. This has been well taken care of, with no signs of use. The overall size is approx. 8.5" Long x 7.5" wide. The lid fits well, and is in excellent clean vintage condition, with no damage and has no chips, cracks, hairlines, or crazing. I also have the booklet that came with the cooker. For your consideration is this lovely set of 3 old antique crocks. These are in very good vintage condition. The small one with 3 stars has a tiny Chip but it is NOT noticeable and can barely be felt. The largest one is 7 inches tall and approximately 18 1/2 inches around at the largest area. Three cobalt stripes. The second one is 5 inches tall and 14 inches around with one large cobalt stripe. The third is adorned with 3 cobalt Stars and Stripes on each side and stands 3 inches tall and 15 inches around. These are beautiful decorative pieces and a must have for the collector. CROWN 2 GAL. “COBALT BLUE” BANDED STONEWARE WATER/LIQUID REFRESHMENT CROCK(Mint)
This is a lovely Antique Early 20th Century 2-Gallon CROWN“Cobalt Blue” Banded in Mint Condition. The crock has no lid or spigot. The crock is clearly marked with the CROWN logo and 2 Gallon size number in the same Cobalt Blue as the band at its center. The Crock is in Mint Condition with no breaks. Chips, cracks or crazing- not even a hairline or nick. It is absolutely pristine. I have never seen another crock with this many decorative“Cobalt Blue” bands. There are 6 of them encircling the crock, each 1/2” wide, 1 at the top, 1 at the bottom and 2 sets 2 on each side of the center. The crock measures 7-1/2” across the top, curving outward to 9” across its bulbous center and narrowing to 8” across the base and stands 11-3/4” high. The stoneware is 1/2” thick. The inside measurement at the top is 6-5/8” and the spigot hole is 3/4” The crock ... morehas a“fired” glaze over its natural off-white stoneware and cobalt blue colors. This is truly a lovely Antique Early 1900's 2-Gallon CROWN“Cobalt Blue” Banded Stoneware Crock in Mint Condition which needs a lid and spigot if used for Water and Other Liquid Refreshments and makes a striking display.

Estate Fresh from a centennial farm located in Maybee. Michigan. This auction is for an adorable and vintage stoneware/yellowware butter crock. The farm crock has an all-over design of what appears to be larger daisy flowers on a trellis background. The crock is half brown and half white in color. Dating to the 1920's-1930's time period and absolutely cute as a button! Surprisingly- no damage is found. This older farm crock measures 4" in height and 5 1/2" in diameter across the top. Antique Milk Bowl/Crock Blue/White Stoneware Bail Handle w/Wooden Grip Outside of Bowl- Raised Double Square Pattern 4 Sunflowers on Sides Top Rim Solid Blue- Bottom Blue/White Blue Mark on Inside- Cannot Read 6" High 11" Top Diameter(12" Bail Lip to Bail Lip) This is a very interesting and very nice antique Milk Bowl with Bail Handle. The material is stoneware with a blue and white glaze(may be a salt glaze) The bail handle has a black wooden grip. The bottom has an impressed Star with 3 outer rings of a raised block look. The top ri. Is a solid blue and has a nice design on the bottom edge. The maker is unknown but the blue marks on the inside near the top were probably their marks. There are a couple chips on the top edge but they have been there awhile as they are very smooth and the one seems to have some ... moreglaze in it also. The biggest flaw is a crack in the bottom of the bowl going about 1/4 of the way around the bottom. This crack can also be seen on the outside(in pic) This is a great old piece of history and would have great visual appeal for a collection. Important Early Heavily Decorated David Parr Baltimore, MD Stoneware Crock Jar
Up for your consideration is a scarce 1 1/2 gallon Baltimore MD stoneware crock attributed to David Parr Pottery within 1823 to 1832. You don't see them this early pop up very often at all. Heavy cobalt florals decorate all the way around the ovoid form(4 times) Stamped"1 1/2" on the collar with small tab ears for handles.10 3/4" tall.27" around the middle.7" diameter at the mouth and 6 1/4" on the base. Great condition for it's early age even with several small flakes off the rim.one on the handle and a hand size crack on the bottom edge and bottom that is repaired. I'm not sure if the piece was broken out and repaired(with no loss of clay) or just glued to stabilize it. The pot feels perfect and strong. There are no cracks but 3 small glaze chips in the spout area and another one at the base of the pitcher. Not sure of the maker. But the bottom is stamped USA. My mother used this for serving"supper" items during my childhood in the early 1950's. She had already owned it for quite awhile even then. Have been stored in a smoke-free. You are bidding on one(1) set of 2 identical(except for a small hairline crack in each and 3 black spots on the bottom of one) Brown Stoneware Crock Bowls that measure about 3-1/4" tall x 4-1/2" wide. The small hairline crack in each is visible all the way through. But is not noticeable except upon close examination. Not sure of the maker. But the bottom of each is stamped USA. Vintage Blue Crown #3 Gallon Crock with Lid (Brown strip across top- different!)
I got this at a clean smoke free collectors auction. This is a vintage crock. There are a few minor cosmetic conditions but it displays VERY very well! The lid fits perfectly and is in good vintage condition. There are a few hairline cracks. On the bottom and and a bottom edge(see pics#4-5) The bottom hairline crack does go through to the inside but it is still very solid and not going to break unless you drop it of course: There is also a chip on the top edge(see pic#3) There is some milk white splash on it which you can see in the first pic but I'm confident you can clean that off if you want without damaging the crock finish. I have outlined the obvious cosmetic conditions but please make sure to check out the pictures I have provided to determine condition for yourself because I am selling this Vintage-As-Is.
