TWO Glazed Stoneware Pottery Butter Cheese Crocks w/Wire Bales Large Brown Tubs
Offered here are two stoneware pottery butter or cheese crocks. each glazed in a deep rich brown finish inside and out(one slightly darker than the other) unfinished on the bottoms and underside of the lids. These crocks have working wire bale closures and each still has the original rubber ring in good condition to provide a nice airtight seal. Each stands about 6 inches high when measured with the lid on and the wire bale fastened in place. the crocks themselves are 4 inches tall and 4½ inches across at the rims. Excellent pre-owned condition. these show only very light shelf wear on the bottoms. one lid has a couple of small old nicks on the underside. no cracks or crazing. no breaks or repairs. This is a used Small Glazed Brown Ceramic Cheese or Butter Crock with a Bale Wire Locking Lid. The crock is in good condition. There is no rubber seal. The top has two small dings in the ceramic. One is on the outer edge. The second is on the inside of the outer rim where the lock hits the lid. The lock works fine. There are no chips in the base. There are some small flaws in the ceramic.
