The inside of the pot is brown. There is a cobalt blue crown and the# 2 inside the crown. The pot and lid are in very good condition. Description: Here is a nice Robinson Ransbottom one-handled bean pot or crock. This isn’t the typical brown over cream color. This example has a nice carmel color over cream.The lid could be a replacement as it almost looks like a mix of brown and black. The lid is a perfect match to the crock. There is what could be a small chip under the lid but I think it was a casting flaw. Judging from the nice color inside. I do not think that anything was ever baked in this crock, especially beans. look at all my pictures as they are the best way for you to judge color and condition for yourself. It also has the typical Blue Crown logo with a number 2 in it denoting that it is a 2 quart crock. The crown stamp is also crisp and clear and everything about this example screams quality. Antique Robinson Ransbottom 4 Gallon Blue Crown Stoneware Water Crock w/ Spigot
This is a very nice vintage crock made Robinson-Ransbottom sometime during the mid-1900's. The company initially started producing from The Ransbottom Brothers Pottery in 1900. The pottery shop was the largest stoneware producer in the world at the time and was sold to The Robinson Clay Products Company in 1919. Together as Robinson-Ransbottom they produced stoneware with the blue crown logo. And some marks show“RRP” in the crown. Others have a number inside the crown, which indicates the size of the crock or bowl. This four-gallon crock measures about 11" across and 14" tall. The piece is decorated with royal blue stripes which give it a beautifully rich aesthetic. There is wonderful detail in the glaze, so please view the pictures carefully for paint and condition details. I've seen many crocks with one or two blue stripes, ... morebut this seems to be a unique design. Sure to complete your decor.

The crock does have issues with cracking however it is whole. You will note the blue crown and dark brown inside glaze. I am offering as a local pickup. Antique Blue Crown Robinson-Ransbottom Pottery Pickle Crock 2 Gallon Stoneware
This old crock was found in a corner of a basement. Where it had been stored for decades. I don't know for sure when it was manufactured, but from other postings here, I gather that Ransbottom and Robinson-Ransbottom. made crocks like this early in the 20tieth century. It is approximately 9 inches high and 9 1/4 inches in diameter. It is heavy. You can pick it up locally to save on the shipping costs. This was obviously used. It is dirty both inside and out. Even after an attempt to clean it. There is some damage to the glaze under the 2 where the crazing is causing some minor flaking off. Please look at the pictures. This is heavy and will not be the easiest thing to pack and ship.I would prefer a local pick up. For something this heavy. I am also stating no returns,unless I have made a mistake in my description,because of the shipping ... morecosts. Of course, if it is picked up locally, there will be the opportunity to inspect it. It is in very good condition with no cracks and only a few small chips chips. The combination of tan brown and navy blue makes this a very unique piece. Vintage Blue Crown Stoneware Water Crock This is a beautiful item to have in any collection. This is an original vintage made in America blue crown water crock by Robinson-Ransbottom. The crock stands about 12 inches tall. The opening is about 7.5 inches across. The lid is 8 inches across. Around the largest part of the crock it measures approximately 11 inches. It can hold two gallons. The Blue crown Stamp is at the top. The lid is the original lid which is a rare find. However the lid has some repairs done to it. It is still strong and sturdy. ANTIQUE ROBINSON RANSBOTTOM BLUE CROWN BUTTER CHURN This is a great antique butter churn crock. It features the number 3 with a blue crown which signifies it as a Robinson RANSBOTTOM pottery piece. It is in very good shape for the age. It has some light crazing inside and out. There is also a chip on the lid(top) I looked the crock over very carefully and there are NO cracks to note. Take a look at the pictures and you will be able to confirm this. Awesome piece and great condition considering it's age. This crock measures just under 14" on it's own and it is 35" to the top of the wooden handle. When shipped I will package into two cartons due to the length of the wooden churn. Robinson Ransbottom 15 Gallon Blue Crown Salt Glazed Stoneware Crock
Offered is an absolutely beautiful 15 gallon Robinson Ransbottom Blue Crown salt glazed crock. The crock is nice and clean and in near perfect condition. It would be nearly impossible to find one in much better condition than this one. There are no chips or cracks or stains of any kind on this crock. The only flaw I could even think of mentioning is some very light crazing in a few areas of the crock. Any other imperfections you may see in the pictures are from production as they all have the original salt glaze over them. This crock has a clean brown interior and looks as if it has never been used. This is a true survivor as it was found preserved in the basement of an old St. Louis City estate. Only when we cleaned it up did we learn just how beautiful it truly was. Local pickup only. We are located right off I-55 near the Anheuser-Busch ... morebrewery.
