Old Antique Redwing 5 Gallon Stoneware Crock Jug Butter Churn Red Wing
We have this old Redwing butter churn crock to offer in good as found condition. It is marked with the wing and Union Stoneware logo. It has wire handles. No lid and a nice 4" wing. The crock has a flaw on the bottom that looks like it was made this way. Just a hole, small. not a chip. There is a 1" crack that is on the bottom rim that is also a firing crack. Only shallow and not seen inside. This is a good Redwing Churn and is a hard to find piece. It is in good clean condition and is 16 1/2" tall. 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Crock 5" tall by 7" diameter SMALL FRACTURE,ADDS CHARACTER!
This auction is for a vintage 1/2 gallon stoneware crock. This measures right at 5" tall and has a diameter right at 7"across. This has a fracture in the that start part way down the side and continues half way across the bottom. This is a fracture not a break. I am not sure what the crock was used for, I have cleaned it up, you may want to do more. Most crocks will have a fracture and some blemishes, to me it adds character to these pieces. For sale is an Antique Pickle or Kraut Jug 4/5 Gallon with a Wide Mouth. This is a piece of North Carolina Stoneware circa 1900 made for domestic use. The jug is 8" tall and 5.75" in diameter at the base. It is 2.75" at the opening. The jug is in good antique condition with no real chips and only manufacturing flaws and related ageing defects. The jug still holds water. There are markings on the base but they are indistinguishable either from wear or age. Please examine the photos carefully. Here is a beautiful old water cooler from the late 1800s.doesn't look like it was ever used. It's about 5 gallons with a rich Albany type glaze inside and the upper outside. These were used in saloons. Bars, pubs, hotels and warehouses to hold the refreshment of choice. It is 18" tall.8 1/2" on the base and 38 1/2" around the ovoid middle. I bought it awhile back and was going to get an artist to paint a big red rooster on it and label it red roost rye.as a decorative piece.just didn't happen. The old wooden spigot didn't come with it but I'll throw that in as well. It weighs almost 22 lbs. unboxed so you can figure 25 lbs to your zip from 23851.for postage. Antique Vintage 5 Gallon Crock Stoneware 2 Tone Labeled G Fox & Co Glazed Brown
This 5 gallon two-toned crock came from an auction in Vermont. It has a label from the G. Fox& Co. Hartford, Conn, see the 5th picture, on the side. It must have been delivered by the G. Fox& Co. I found out the G stands for Gerson who owned this large department store. It said that they made deliveries by wheelbarrow. The crock measures 13" high and 11 3/8" in diameter. There is a chip on the bottom edge, see the 10th picture. There is a crack that starts on one side where the brown turns to tan and runs down to the middle of the bottom. There are 3 indentations on the bottom edge that must have been made during the manufacturing process because they are glazed over. There are some drips marks, see the 2nd picture. There are also residue marks on the inside.

Antique 5 Gallon Salt Glazed Red Clay Stoneware Crock w/ Cobalt Leaf (Red Wing?)
This is a rare 19th century 5 gallon salt glazed crock with cobalt blue leaf design. Possibly Red Wing. The markings are bold and the glaze is shiny and even. There are a few small chips along the inside of the top edge, one on the bottom of one of the handles, and a tiny one on the back of the bottom edge. There is a hairline that runs down one side next to a small crow's foot. None of the damage is visible from the front, and it still looks fantastic. It would make an excellent display piece! It will be packed well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.

An antique blue decorated stoneware crock which is stamped"1-1/2" gallon on the front. There is no maker's mark or stamp. The crock is approximately 6-3/8" tall and 9-7/8" wide across the top. The blue decoration is in a beautiful state of repair with virtually no wear. There is a large chip to the rim right of center on the side. Measuring nearly 2.25" in length. There is also a hairline on the back of the piece, which starts at the rim and extends about 4" downward. Illinois Condition: Piece is in good vintage condition. There are some surface blemishes. Inside of crock shows rust and has a crack to the bottom inside area. There is some material stuck to the upper inside of the crock. As well- this could probably be scraped off fairly easily, but we are leaving it to our buyer to address. Antique stoneware crock cobalt handle decoration two 2 gallon 11.5" tall
An antique two gallon stoneware crock measuring approximately 11.5" tall(the dollar bill is shown for size comparison only) and with cobalt decoration accentuating the handles on either side. There is also cobalt coloring on the impressed number"2" near the top on the front of the crock. We count five chips to the rim on top. The largest of which measures just shy of 1" wide, and the smallest about 1/8" wide. A hairline extends from one of the chips, down and diagonally to the left about 2" just above the left handle of the crock) A second hairline begins on the very bottom underside of the crock near the center, outward to the edge(there is a tiny hole/chip at the point on the bottom edge, looks like the point of impact) and up about 1-3/8" from the bottom edge, where it becomes a three way hairline, extending ... moreapproximately 7/8" to the right and 1-1/4" to the left. There is another area of distress on the bottom, from which a hairline extends to the edge and up the side about 1" There are also plenty of the typical dings here and there, glaze skips, and other small imperfections but we tried to outline the major issues specifically. The hairlines are tight and the crock is structurally sound, so it displays very well. We do not know the maker or the region of origin and we cannot find any sort of mark or signature. PLEASE view the images CAREFULLY as an extension of the description, particularly on an item such as this with imperfections AND DESCRIBED AS SUCH. Please view the images for condition details. Antique Vintage Primitive 5 Gallon Stoneware Crock Pot w/ Handles. Nice looking primitive crock. Good condition with small chip on inner edge seen in pictures. Ffew scuff marks and other imperfection that look to be from when made in the glaze. No cracks found! Use ebay's picture zoom. Ask question if needed. More pictures available upon request. ANTIQUE 5 Gallon Blue Crown STONEWARE CROCK Robinson Ransbottom gorgeous colors
You are bidding on the stunning 5 gallon blue crown multi colored crock pictured above. This crock was made by Robinson Ransbottom I believe in the early 1900 s. It is in very good condition with no cracks and only a few small chips chips. The combination of tan brown and navy blue makes this a very unique piece. My knowledge is somewhat limited on stoneware so if anyone has any additional information I would love to hear from you. Hopefully you are able to gather all you need from the pictures provided. Antique Vintage Original Red Wing Stoneware Crock 5 Gallon Koverwate BOLD
This is an original antique 5 gallon Red Wing Koverwate with crisp. Bold 5 and Koverwate label. There is a little damage; three small chips that look like broken bubbles in the stoneware, a tiny flake on the inside top edge, and one tight, faint hairline on the back that runs down about 2 inches from the top edge. It is otherwise clean and shiny and would make an excellent display piece! It measures It will be packed very well and insured during shipping.
