Ruckel's Stone Ware 2 Gallon Crock Up for your perusal is this antique Ruckel's Stoneware 2 gallon crock. It has a white glaze and stamped in cobalt blue'Ruckel's Stoneware' mark and'2' for 2 gallon size. Established in 1870 in White Hall Illinois. Ruckel's Pottery was popular at the end of the 1800s and into the early part of the 1900s. It is in great condition and very clean. It measures 9.5" tall and 9.5" in diameter. No glaze pops but there are a few chips on the bottom and a crack on the outer top(see pics) Normal wear from use. Age and storage. Found at an estate sale. I don't know if it was originally a wine or beverage dispenser, however the wine letters are or look like they are under the glaze. The spout is new, but the hole appears to be original? It is very old as you can tell by all the crazing and there is a chip at the back of the crock. It is missing the lid. But it is super cool. Complete with primitive wood lid and dasher. It's cobalt glaze acorn insignia reads: ACORN WARES | UHL POTTERY CO. HUNGTINBURG, INDIANA. Condition: Very nice! The wood lid and dasher show some age(splits and just age plus it's imperfectly round; the glue to the plunger is old and brittle. A bit loose- but easily re-glued) But the crock itself is in beautiful vintage condition. There are surface imperfections(character and patina) but they all appear to be original to the manufacture of the piece. Or just from age(slight crazing) i.e. no discernable damage or repairs. Very nice old Crock/ Butter Churn(late 19th century? mad by the C.W. Braun Company in Buffalo NY. Brown glazed interior. Salt Glaze Exterior with fired"raw" clay bottom. Incise Stamped with the number"2" and"C.W. Braun" Buffalo N.Y. There are no cracks whatsoever. There are. However, two chips along interior rim. The bottom looks to be"charred" in areas perhaps from being used on a stove or fire for cooking. Measures 11.25" tall. The top rim is 7.5" in diameter and the bottom measures 8-3/8" in diameter.

Beautiful Glazed Stoneware Butter Churn. Stamped W.D. Suggs Smithville. Miss. WD Suggs pottery was active between late the 1890s to mid 1950s. Virtually perfect condition other than small chip of missing glaze on inner lip of top. Very sound structural condition with original applied handle. No damage to handle at all. 16.5" tall. 9.5" top diameter, 10” bottom diameter, 34" around at widest belt size. From my personal collection. Great for any stoneware collection. Here is a very nice item to add to your country home. Stoneware butter churn that measures about 15"high and the top is 9 1/4" On the front it has Nitary Stoneware then the number 3 in the middle. Does have a lid and there are two numbers on the lid 4 and 8. Not sure how old this butter churn is. It is in very good condition. There are several darker spots/colors on it. On the logo by the N, worn off. The band that is in between the colors on one side looks like it run. Tried to show as much as possible in picture, wear from age. Antique Stoneware Crock Two Tone Butter Churn
Very nice antique butter churn crock. This size may be rarer than most. I have searched other listings and have not seen one exactly like this. This crock is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Outside is very clean with glaze in good shape. Great size for a lot of different uses, planter, umbrella holder, large floral arrangement, lots and lots of possibilities. Photos were taken with and without flash. This is a great antique butter churn cover I think. Its total Diameter is 7 5/8" The small hole through it is 1 1/4" The color is a blackish.Brown, grey color. There are a few small little nicks here& there. No cracks. my opinion is its in great condition for its age

NR Vintage Huge Butter CHURN Stoneware Cobalt Blue Horse Crock 4 Gallon
This magnificent Stoneware Churn measures 13.5" tall and 10" diameter. It weighs 12 pounds. It features a stunning Cobalt Blue Horse on each side- a masterful work of art! The lid is a lighter color than the churn but it's a perfect fit. So I tend to believe it's the churn's original lid(or a very appropriate replacement) There 3 hairline cracks that start at the top and run part-way down the sides. The longest is 2/3 of the way down. There's a spider crack at the bottom of that crack. The churn remains structurally sound. I could find no makers mark on the base. Up for auctions is an A NTIQUE INDIAN PEACE SWASTIKA STONEWARE BUTTER/ DAIRY CROCK KITCHEN CHURN. It's an off-white color with a beautiful blue lid. It measures 7.25 inches in diameter and 5.25 inches tall. The crock has a visible crack on the side that runs all the way through. So is better for just displaying. The lid is in excellent condition. The lid displays an INDIAN SWASTIKA PEACE& HARMONY( PRE 1939) SYMBOL around the outer edge and center of the lid. THE SWASTIKA SYMBOL WAS USED FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS BY MANY DIFFERENT CULTURES. IT WAS DISCONTINUED BY THE NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS IN 1939 DUE TO IT'S DESCECRATION BY THE NAZIS. Good luck bidding!

For your consideration is an antique/ vintage ironstone. Crock(no makers marks) butter churn. complete with paddle. exact age unknown. A couple of chips inside rim and one on the outside.see pics. There is something on the outside.maybe paint? I have not tried to clean it. Awesome Looking Salt Glazed Stoneware Crock or Butter Churn ? Cobalt Blue Design
PLEASE NOTE: I am not an expert on this kind of item. I Found it in my Grandfather's Collection. It was stored in his attic for years. It could be an Old Pennsylvania Dutch Crock. Butter Churn, or something else. I Know it is Grey in color with an Awesome Cobalt Blue Design. It has handles. On the outside. It has an"I" with dots around it. I think it stands for the Roman Numeral: One but not 100% sure. It has some marking etched inside that looks almost like a"chicken foot" Not sure what it is. Please view all 12 of the pictures for more details on its condition. It does have a crack-line that runs down the side of it(can also see it on the inside) But it doesn't seem to hurt its appearance much in my opinion. The Crock felt sturdy as I moved it in different positions for photographing. This crock looks like it ... morehas been kept in very great condition overall. Except for some"wear" I believe it is"antique" and because of that it isn't 100% Perfect. Handles are a little"wavy" on the edges of them. But when I rubbed it with my finger it felt smooth to me. RARE Mepoco Butter Churn Crock Stoneware Circa 1910
You are bidding on a Very Rare Early Mepoco Ware 3 GALLON Antique Butter Churn Crock. It was made in the 1910's in either Germany or Czechoslovakia and is in very good condition. It has a 2.5" Age Line on the collar of the crock. See pics, but overall in Very Good condition with BOTH original wire and wood handles! This is a RARE find and a very unique Collector's Piece! Just FYI: If you google Mepoco Churn the only 2 examples are 5 gallons and are priced at $973& $1500! The 3 gallon is worth more than the 5 gallon. So this is a great deal! Antique Stoneware Butter Churn Blue Slip Wreath 4 gallon Crock
This is an Antique Blue Slip Wreath 4 gallon Stoneware Butter Churn or Crock. It is 16"h x 9 1/2"w. There is a wooden pole and beater which has broken off of the pole and needs to be repaired. It also has a wooden top with a hole for the beater to go through. There is a chip on the bottom edge around the back. It has overall discoloring from the firing. Otherwise it is very solid with no cracks.
