very old antique tea pot tan and green leave w/ blue flowers
Here in a very old tea pot. It has no year or maker marks. I got this out of an old house I was cleaning out so I'm not sure if the exact age but I know it is old. The glaze has the surface cracks from age and there looks to be a tiny tiny chip on the tip of the spout. It's so small my camera won't even focus on it for a picture. Other than that I don't see anything else wrong with it. Doesn't look like it was ever even used because there are NO tea stains on the inside. It is all clean and bright just like the outside. I would not recommend using this tea pot due to age. But rather have it be for decor. But ultimately it's up to you. 3.25" tall 6" long(handle to spout) 4 strainer holes leading to the spout opening

Antique c. 1860 Purple Transferware Transfer Tea Pot Set
Transferware Up next. Here is a nice purple transferware antique tea service by Hopkin& Vernon. Burslem. Hopkin and Vernon were in productino from 1842 to 1862. The transfer design features aesthetic building and floral motifs. Overall condition is very good overall for it's age. There are some minor flea bites on the rim of the teapot as well as the spout(both pictured) The finial of the teapot has been broken off and shows a very early repair. The sugar bowl has some some chips on the underside of one of the tab handles and a age or stress fracture on the mold seam that doesn't go though. There are some areas of the transfer that appear blue rather than purple. Most notably on the foot. There are some color and pattern flaws here and there. Which are original to these pieces(and many transfer pieces of this era) There are 5 ... morehandless cups and 6 deep saucers. The teapot measures about 7" high(to top of finial) x 11-1/2" handle to spout) x 5-1/2" wide. The saucers measure about 6" in diameter and 1-1/4" high. VINTAGE HULL ART POTTERY TEAPOT WITH CREAMER AND COVERED SUGAR BOWL
This is a very beautiful vintage teapot set. It is three pieces consisting of teapot. Covered sugar bowl and creamer. Very unique and very colorful. It is marked Hull Art Pottery. Large floral design traced in gold. I am not sure of the age, but possibly 1930 or so. It is beautiful, but as mentioned, not perfect. There is some gold loss, typical on an old piece. Under the lip of the spout there is a very tiny nick. Hard to see because of the location. Teapot measures 5 x 9-1/2 and the creamer is 5-1/2 and sugar 5-1/4 inch. Displays really well. A bird on each side with roses along the top and on the lid. Hand painted color accents are applied. Gold gilt runs along the handle. Spout& opening edge. The background is a pure white. This week I have 3 pieces of Aynsley PEMBROKE bone china pieces. This listing is for the PEMBROKE teapot 11" L x 6 1/4" W x 53/4"H the body of the teapot is in great shape with no chips or cracks. The lid. As can be seen in the second photograph looks like a rim crack that is only on the rim, not through the lid. MAKER MARKED F& M. This is a high quality porcelain that this company was/is renowned for. This lovely porcelain set is translucent. Thin, delicate& has dainty cups. The pot handles are ring style. Some markings have worn down and are very small. But it appears to me that a few pieces have no marks, definitely some have numbers, definitely others have the actual maker mark. The markings are impressed and glazed over and very hard to see. The photo is antiqued gray in order to view it. Capital F, fancy& and capital M is the maker mark used during the above stated time frame for this company. This maker mark pre-dates the more familiar one of crossed hammers. Set is a coffee or tea pot/ with lid. Sugar pot w/lid, 4 cups, 4 saucers, 5 bread plates. Pattern unknown. The basic color is the pearl white with bands of aqua, black and ... moregold. The gilding(trim) has worn from usage during the years. The pots have a very short thin slight indent on bottom center, unknown why it was produced this way since it's glazed over and unknown if it has any marking within it, Just too difficult to see into it. Two bottom rims on plates feel lightly rough. See pic with maker mark, but are not chipped or cracked. One plate has a brown spot at the bottom rim. Otherwise no cracks, chips, repairs or crazing are noted. A few minor factory flaws are noted, such as the inside of a pot has a slight wave in the porcelain, one dish has a very tiny off white spot in the glaze. Please ask all questions before bidding. 4 Antique Chocolate Cups by Carl Tielsch
These are 4 lovely chocolate cups by Carl Tielsch of Germany. The mark on the bottom of the cups indicates an age of circa 1900. The white cups have delicate lilac-colored roses with green stems and there is a gold floral border near the tops of the cups and around the saucers. One of the cups is slightly misshapen. But there are no cracks, chips, scratches, or crazing. The cups are 2 3/4" high and the saucers are 4 3/4" in diameter.

Circa 1850, originally part of a complete miniature children's tea set. The round cup stands 1 3/4" high on a pedestal base. The bowl shaped saucer measures 4 1/2" in diameter. The set is transfer printed in a rich country red finished with pearlware glaze. Decorated in the scarce GOAT pattern(also known as"Goat Girl" depicting a girl dancing with her pet goat- OR some say it is a pet dog. There is a manor house in the background with lush vegetation and a twisted loop border pattern. Although the set is unmarked. Originally part of a child's complete tea set. The piece stands 2 1/2" tall to the top of the relief moulded lily flower finial, and measures 4" long from the tip of the spout to the edge of the dolphin-like handle. The color is a rich and earthy purple wine or maroon, with a pearlware glaze. The piece is impeccably potted and light bodied. The little jug depicts a beehive buzzing with activity. In the center of a lavish flower garden with an urn of flowers. The beehive and urn repeats on each side of the base. A bold yet delicate floral border trim finishes off the rim and the lid. The decoration is very rich, with very little white space remaining. The ... morepiece is unmarked except for a tiny tally mark. The pattern is commonly attributed to William Adams(though John Ridgway also produced a similar Beehive pattern) A pottery maker in the Staffordshire district 1810-1825. The piece is in fair condition. With an old lame repair to an old broken handle, amateurly executed but not seen except upon close examination. No other chips cracks or repairs. This antique or very vintage porcelain tea set is a pretty deep pink with white interiors. It consists of a lidded teapot. Four cups, and four saucers. As shown, there is wear to the glaze and many glaze imperfections, but none of the pieces has any chips or cracks. The bottoms are marked"Germany" with what looks like the number 80 underneath. The teapot also has numbers incised around the rim of the base. I don't know who the manufacturer was. The teapot is 5 inches tall x 5 ¾ inches from end of spout to the end of the handle. The teapot has one hairline crack in its bottom and crackling in the glazing. I feel this is a normal amount of wear for the age of this piece. The teapot top has a very small paint blemish, see the last photo. Up for auction is a early English Prattware Teapot Circa 1790 in flawless condition.The teapot is white with floral designs in the prattware colors of blue. Orange and leaf green. This example has a molded swirl design pattern which surrounds the body of the pot. The flower pattern is repeated on the lid. This teapot is not fragile and was well made and actually could still be used today.The teapot measures 11 inches in lenght and is 6 1/2 inches in height. RARE Antique Naked Baby Teapot Very unusual subject matter
Up for auction is a very STRANGE rare style tea pot. Where to begin? It has a unique pattern, naked babies, anatomically correct on 1, the pose they are in on one side is questionable looking.I dont this they thought it out to well as to what it look like is going on! On the opposite side it looks like the babies are dancing with a cat, all scenes are out doors, this pot is very old, says made in Japan, If I read it right, I cant say for sure how old it is, but It has been in the family for over 60 years. Rare To Find such a perfect Tea Pot in this Pattern* Francis Morely Hanley. Staffordshire, England"Aurora" c. 1845- 1858 Beautiful Antique Pink. Red& White Transfer pattern with transfer florals& scrolls. And clobbered pinks, blues and yellows. The border is Floral and Botanical with stylized flowers and vines. The lovely lid has a beautiful crown turban finial which fits perfectly into the 8 sided flared neck. The octagonal paneled teapot is footed. And there is a bit of raised relief on the spout. More details can be found in Kowalsky 1999. P.291. He also states that the importer was Tyndale& Mitchell. 219 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. Rare To Find such a great Tea Pot(Coffee Pot) in this Pattern* G. Wooliscroft Tunstall. Staffordshire, England"Excelsior" c. 1851- 1864 Beautiful Antique Purple& White Transfer pattern with transfer florals and clobbered pinks. Blues and yellows. Central pattern features a vase of flowers resting in a bowl. And oversize flowers in the foreground. The border is Floral and Botanical with stylized flowers and vines. The lovely lid has a bunch of grapes for a finial. There is raised relief on the handle. The spout and in other unexpected places on this lovely octagonal/panelled teapot. More details can be found in Williams Weber 1. 1978, p.38. Kowalsky 1999. P.485 lists 4 English potters making Excelsior, and more examples are listed in the Transferware Collector's Club Database. Antique Teapot 1850 Davenport Ironstone English Registration Mark Old Porcelain
This Davenport Ironstone teapot stands 9" inches high. The registration mark date is January 14 1850. It has a hairline down the side and a hairline two thirds the way around the base. Somebody smeared some kind of glue or cement along the inside where the hairlines are. No other chips cracks or damage. The previous owner was a hoarder of sorts. The teapot still displays very well. And around the opening the pink color is either worn or thin. The hand painted bouquets and sprays of roses mixed with other flowers are really charming. Next two photos show the front- Blue with the large front bouquet and less pink, and then the back, pink with two small sprays, an opening for the candle, and blue accent. The tassels were once gold gilt, and there was a lot of gold gilding, which has now worn away especially on the pink surface, seems to be more gold left on the blue, still has a great shabby appeal. There are six little stubby feet, and this has a sweet romantic shape. This is possibly French'Old or Vieux Paris' unmarked, showing ... morethe base, measures 6-1/8" high to the top at the oval opening, and app 5 inches across the base between the widest points. 1850-71 Morning Glory Tea Leaf Ironstone Coffeepot Antique with Provenance
An old Tealeaf ironstone COFFEEPOT in the Morning Glory pattern handed down through generations of the Babson Family of Gloucester Massachusetts. The 10 1/2" tall. 9 1/4" wide(from tip of spout to tip of handle) coffeepot has a nice shiny glaze that is crackled from age but has no chips or cracks. The lid has had a repair where the bud on top was reattached but it is not noticeable except for a very tiny piece missing(see photo#6) There is an imprinted logo on the bottom that is hard to read but there is enough of an impression to identify the logo as an Elsmore Forster coffeepot which dates the piece to c.1850-70. There is also an imprinted 7 or L on bottom as well. It is truly a beautiful old displayable piece. PROVENANCE. This piece of ironstone was among a collection of fine items(many dating back to the 1800s and as far back ... moreas the late 1700s) passed down from the estate of Roger Ward Babson(1875-1967) to his family. Roger was a tenth generation Gloucester Massachusetts Babson who's earliest American relative. Isabel Babson(a midwife) arrived in Salem Mass in 1637. There is much information about pioneer economist Roger Babson(1875-1967) on the web noting his accomplishments including: founding of Babson College in 1919, and founding of Weber College in 1927(now Weber International University) Earlier in his career as an economist, Babson founded the Business Statistical Organization in 1904, selling business and investment information to companies. Roger Babson earned the distinction of being the first financial forecaster to predict the stock market crash of October, 1929. From 1910 to 1923, he commented on business and other matters as a regular columnist for the Saturday Evening Post. Late 18th, early 19th Wedgwood Tea Service-wedgwood blue (sees pics)
This set is not perfect but is truly fine. The out door photos show the true color. wonderful raised images of ducks. Swans, storks and other water fowl with reeds and lots of flourishes. One of the birds even has a fish in its mouth. The word Wedgwood is impressed very lightly on the base of all of these pieces. There is also an impressed 24 on the base of ten, which is a bit more clear. I think that the glaze of the bases is why I think late 18th, as opposed to early 19h century. fine and very rare antique 18th century Chinese or English Worcester imari teapot ca 1795 in great shape for age. Beautiful hand painted designs of pagoda in the Chinese imari pallet, I believe this is called Chinese's lowestoft, the teapot is in great shape for age, age lines inside and two small chips under lid, but overall in great shape for an item over 215 years old, the teapot measures 7 inches in height and 9 1/2 inches across, this is a rare and beautiful 18th century teapot, hope it goes to a good home or collection, item sold as is,thanks and good luck!

Rare vintage art nouveau deco style black and gold Noritake hand painted tea pot
Offered for bids from my personal collection is this rare art nouveau period Noritake 6 cup tea pot in all black and gold. An unusual combination compared to the usual bright floral Noritake offerings. The tea pot is 10" wide from spout to handle and 7" tall including the lid knob. The main body of the tea pot is about 5½" in diameter. The art nouveau or art deco design in gold includes trees, leaves, flowers and geometric bands. The back stamp is the green"M" wreath. I'm not sure what the pattern name is I research online and cant find a matching pattern to this one. Image is of house next to water mill by a waterfall with mountains and trees. Items are very delicate the cups are very thin almost transparent, teacups have a impression of a Asian women at the bottom of cup, I didn't notice until I held it up to the light.
