The bottom bears the Sarreguemines Terre A Feu France triangle mark. Covered sugar measures 3 7/8" to the finial on the cover. Bottom is marked Sarreguemines France. Cover is a bit loose fitting and the shade of blue is a bit different; probably not the original cover. Cream measures 3 5/8" tall. The edge of the spout has 2 very tiny nicks in the glaze. Bottom is marked Sarreguemines France. Waste bowl which measures 2 3/4" tall with 4" top diameter. There is a little dullness in the copper ... morelustre on one side. Bottom bears the triangle P.V. This offering is for an antique Staffordshire tea set. And includes the large teapot, generous covered sugar and creamer. The pattern is the Chelsea Grapevine Copper Luster pattern(sometime referred to as Grandmother's) All of the pieces are footed, with square handles and consist of 10 panels with a formed design of beading with inverted crowns. It is in very good condition, except for some small chips on the stand. I find no damage to the teapot or lid. The bottom of the teapot has raised letters which look to read'Made in England' The tea pot measures 9 1/2" wide from spout to handle, and stands 7" tall. Most likely made in England during the early-to-mid 19th century. Brown transfer printed decoration with a seated lady and anchor. Platinum or silver lustre trim and decoration. The cream colored glaze has a slightly bluish tint, especially on the base where the cobalt has pooled. Measures about 11 inches to the top of the lid finial; the body is about 8.75 inches tall. Total weight is 2 pounds and 3 ounces. Condition: There are quite a few condition issues with this coffee pot. But this is still quite an interesting and decorative piece. There's a hole in the body(to the left of one of the transfer printed decorations) and a couple of tiny hairlines stemming from this area. Six (6)RW Rudolf Wachter Antique Green Lustre Ware Tea Plates Art Nouveau No Cup
Here are six(6) antique lunch/tea plates signed RW(Rudolf Wachter) which are in excellent antique condition. They are designed in three sections. One to hold a cup(which I do not have) and two others for small treats, cookies, hors d'oerves, etc. Years ago I owned a small French restaurant and we used these plates to serve our house dessert, using flowered antique cups to serve the coffee…they were always a wonderful conversation piece, as well as being very functional. They were always carefully washed by hand to protect their lustre finish. Measure 10" x 8"there is a narrow white band around the cup space. Edged with a fine black line.
