This set was either a childen's tea set or demitasse. The teapot measures 8.0 inches tall. Sugar is 4.0 inches tall and creamer is 3.0 inches tall. Cups are 1.75 inches tall and saucers are 4.5 inches in diameter. Set includes the teapot. Creamer, sugar, 5 saucers, and 4 cups. All feature different original transportation images. The creamer has a train with"Locomotiva Italiana 1840" printed underneath, the sugar has two images- one bicycle with"Bicylo 1892" printed underneath and one antique car type vehicle on the other side. The saucers have 3 different images including the car type vehicle, the bicycle, and a ship with"Battello Clermont 1806" printed ... moreunderneath. The teapot is has a"Autobus Golosworthy 1828" on both sides. Each piece in the set is hallmarked. Selling a chocolate pot made by A. G. Moschendorf. In the Flora pattern. The pot is bottom marked with the PM in a wreath with a crown at the top and Bavaria underneath all in green, and under all that in red is the pattern name Flora. The piece stands 9 1/2 inches tall to the top of the finial. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. It has gold highlights on the finial, around the rim, handle and spout, also around the mid section. The piece is is dcprated with a pair of maidens with garlands of flowers. The back ground is blue sky with clouds. The piece is also decorated with flowers, that look like azalea blossoms in pink and white. The piece dates from 1895 to 1910 based on the marks on the piece. These sets are very difficult to find in good condition, as they are so fine and fragile. This particular set is in remarkable condition, especially considering its age. I have all the pieces, and all are free of chips or cracks. The lustrous pattern is very pretty and features a flower basket design on a white center with a wide bright iridescent rim. There is black trim and black handles on all the pieces. The 15 pieces to the set consist of: a teapot, creamer, sugar, 4 cups, 4 saucers, and 4 dessert plates. Sweet. Petite little teapot has the red Zeh, Scherzer& Co. Z S& Co. with an R) Bavaria mark that was used 1899 to 1910. Embossing on the body includes a Greek key looking pattern around the top and middle. And on the lid edge. Floral décor and gold trim. Stands 4.5" to top of lid's knob. Base is about 3" diameter. Body flares out to be about 5" at the widest. Top is about 3.25" diameter. 7" is longest from spout to handle. I see no chips. Cracks, nicks, repairs or crazing. Some wear to the gold. A nice antique creamer made by Z.S. Co. Bavaria with Floral design, Rose with leaves, signed by Gavin, written at the bottom of the cream) The rims has gold trimming and the handle is gold. A picture is taken to show the scratched gold color at top of handle which is like 0.2cm. There's also chip 0.5cm at the bottom, which just happened when I was taking the pictures. Mignon - Z. S. & Co. Bavaria Chocolate Pot, 4 Cups & Saucers Set Antique 1890's
ZS&Co. Bavaria Chocolate Set. 1 Chocolate Pot, 4 Cups& Saucers c.1890+ Antique Mignon- Z. S. Co. Bavaria Chocolate Set, Chocolate Pot, 4 Cups& Saucers Over 100 years old chocolate set with demi cups& saucers. Decorated with deep purple& yellow flowers& gold decorative bands and trim. The four demi cups have the same décor as the pot& saucers. As well the cups have a raised pattern around the upper rim and a flower on the inside. The matching saucers also have the raised design around the rim. The raised designs are somewhat difficult for me to see and can hardly be felt. The only damage I can find is on the lid next to the handle. A circle chip of glaze is missing(surface in this area feels smooth) and a smaller triangle chip near the handle. The handle does not appear to have damage. The damaged lid can be ... morerepaired. Two saucers have lines under the glaze, that cannot be felt with the finger nail.
