$15.00 Shipping Location: Keene, United States For sale is a special treat- an extremely rare and early small coffee pot and its lid made by Meissen in about 1725. It has a really nice shape with the ... moreearly handle which I like very much and the spout is a bit different than later ones as well. It is also quite interesting that the body must have been made first then cut open at the bottom to attach the base. That is evident from the inside which I tried to show in a picture but it's hard to see there. The pot is superbly handpainted with an early Indian Flowers(Indianische Blumen) design in the Kakiemon palette. The colors are bright and fresh. The underglaze blue parts are highlighted with gilding. A real fun design with bugs and a bird included. Even the handle has plenty of flowers on it as does the lid which has an iron red and gold design to the rim and a simple finial typical to this period painted with gilding. My favorite part is that this piece is in superb condition with barely any wear even to the gild highlights. There is one tiny flat chip to the very to rim of the pot which is not obvious at all! Some roughness to the footring but that is all original from the making! On top of that it is superbly marked with about every type of mark one could wish for- the underglaze blue crossed swords(about as early a version as you can have) The bossierers marks impresed(a star and a line) a blue painter's mark(a K. I think but hard to read) and a painter's mark L. in puce. The piece is 7 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. If you like my goodies have a look at my other auctions for a lot more top maker pieces or contact me through Ebay if you are looking for something else.

From mehun france has two strainers, top cap works on top of strainer and tea pot, measures approx 7 1/2 inches high by 5 inches wide, second item in lot I believe is either small casserole dish or butter dish, measure 7 1/2 inches wide and 5 3/8ths from front to back, and 1 7/8ths inches deep, 3 piece in lot is small creamer, creamer measure approx 3 3/8ths inches talls and 4 inches wide, all items are in very good used condition, no chips or cracks, all do need a little cleaning but did not want to mess up originality, a very nice lot, cap from coffee pot will also work on creamer.

Dark purple or mauve transfer-print and hand painted green floral swig pattern. No maker's marks, but there is a hand painted"X" and"22" on the underside. Measures approximately 11 inches from the handle to the spout. Width is about 6 inches. Height is 6 inches to the top of the handle. Condition: Unfortunately. This lovely teapot has various condition issues. The lid has an old repair.it was once in two pieces. There is visible glue and chipping from the original break. It has one tiny chip on the inside rim as shown in picture 3, all paint is great. The sugar bowl stands approx. 5" x 6" with no flaws to either bowl or lid. The creamer stands approx. 3 1/2" tall x 4 3/4" wide, with no flaws. Each of the 6 cups stand approx. 3" x 3 1/4" wide, one has a tiny chip at the rim. Offered in this sale is an antique Meissen porcelain coffee pot decorated with the Blue Onion pattern that I would date to the later 1800s or perhaps earlier 1900s. It is ... moremarked on the underside of the base with a blue crossed swords mark and also has the crossed swords mark incorporated in the pattern on the base of the tree. Meissen stop marking the tree in the pattern in the earlier 1900s so this piece has to predate that time. Please note that there are two short scratch lines in the glaze over the mark on the base which indicates that this is a factory second. I have no idea why it is designated so as I can find no flaws at all. Sometimes the thickness of the porcelain being off could warrant a piece to be designated a second. It measures roughly 10 1/2" tall and is 7" across from the handle to the spout. It has an applied rose on the cover. I do have more than 20+ pieces of Blue Onion from an assembled set from several different factories that I am listing for sale separately on Ebay(see 9th image) If you are interested in more than one item I do offer combined shipping which saves on postage. The lid has a rosebud finial and the spout and handle are rather ornate and trimmed in gold paint. Unfortunately. There is considerable damage to the piece, so it is being sold as is. The top of the pot was broken and has been repaired with ... moreglue- at least all of the pieces are there, so a porcelain service could probably do a restoration fairly easily. In addition, the rosebud has some damage to one side and the lid also has two chips to the interior bottom rim(see close-up photo) The piece is marked with the Meissen crossed swords mark that was use from 1815 until 1924 and is also hand inscribed with the number 33. It measures 8 1/4" in height to the top of the lid's finial and weighs 1 lb and 11 oz. Despite the damage. There is an insignificant pinpoint nick on the edge of the spout and a little typical glazes fry on the edge of the lid as you can see. The paint decoration is in great condition with only a hint of wear. This has initials on the front. Possibly a presentation piece or maybe just made to order that way. Beautiful Antique Paris Porcelain gilded coffee/tea pot
Beautiful Paris Porcelain coffee pot/teapot with gilded decoration. The pot to my eye is in excellent condition with minimal gold loss. There are a couple of spots of gilt gone awry! see last photos) It has no chips. Cracks or crazing. The inside of the pot is clean as a whistle. It measures 9" to the top of the finial and 10" wide from tip of spout to edge of handle. I will be listing the matching sugar bowl which could stand on its' own as a canister.
