Mid to Late 19th century Minton or coalport service for 1
This auction is for all three pieces. I like melon shaped things and things encrusted with flowers. I wanted to buy more. But I cannot afford more in this set, so it goes. Condition is not perfect and the defects are shown. I take excellent, detailed pictures-so look carefully. The second shot is the base of the sugar bowl, and I believe the mark is Minton-on three of the points of hte hexagon mark, I can clearly read NTO. The other corners are not clear. the teapot with the lid on is 3.75 inches tall. the saucer is 5.75 inches across and the cup is 2 inches tall and 4 inches across. The sugar box 3.75 inches tall. It is a fine translucent porcelain and extremely fine. I love these pieces. But I have to clear out my mess. Please check my other auctions as I am having a massive scratch and dent sale. I am listing too much stuff to be really ... morespecific, so LOOK AT THE PHOTOS caref ully. If you like 18th century and early 19th century English pearlware and soft paste porcelain. I am selling tons. also- returns only if reasonable. if the piece is broken and you did not ask for insurance, it is at your risk. It takes me about a week to get everything wrapped and out. Sorry. But I work 50 hours a week, have a family and a lot of marketing for work.

SALE! Late 18th-early 19th century Old Paris or Bayeux teapot
This antique French porcelain teapot measures 7" high and 10" wide(from the tip of the handle to the tip of the spout) There's loss of gilding as expected for its age. But the landscapes(2 different) on both sides of the teapot are in perfect condition as you can see in the photos. The teapot itself is in mint condition. The chinoiserie theme in Paris porcelain, as the high-quality scenes in the teapot, is not a very recurrent one, so these items, whenever found, are very special. PLEASE DON'T PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE, since the shipping cost that appears on the page may not be the right amount.

CLASSIFICATION: Blue and White Porcelain Teapot. ATTRIBUTION: Ancient China. Qing Dynasty, 19th Century. SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Height(with lid) 111 millimeters(4 1/2 inches) Breadth(including spout) 161 millimeters(6 1/2 inches) Diameter: 133 millimeters(5 1/3 inches) at belly; 61 millimeters(2 1/2 inches) at top lip; 106 millimeters(4 1/4 inches) at base. Lid: Diameter: 68 millimeters(2 3/4 inches) Thickness: 10 millimeters(3/8 inch) CONDITION: Very good. Entirely intact. A little wear consistent with any household item which is over one(perhaps two) centuries in age. Not flawless, but certainly in an excellent state of ... morepreservation. DETAIL: A nicely preserved large sized traditional blue and white porcelain teapot with a design so wonderfully characteristic of late Ming/early Qing Dynasty artwork. The glaze is entirely intact. Vibrant cobalt blue, and the condition of the pot is exceptionally good. There are of course a few minor scuffs, marks, dings, etc. All of the preceding almost unnoticeable and very minor– we’re just playing critic here in the interest of full disclosure. The tea pot almost seems as if it was used primarily for decoration. The tea stains though unmistakable, are still nonetheless relatively light. In fact a good scrubbing and there’s no reason at all why you could not use this for your own ceremonial high tea. There are of course one spout and two handle loops- all entirely intact. The two handle loops would have served as attachment for two wicker handles. Of course after several centuries the(biodegradable) wicker handles are long gone. But the teapot remains entirely intact. This is as close to as good as one can reasonably expect of a teapot this old. It’s not perfect, but it is about as close to it as you will ordinarily find of an authen

Majolica Late 19th Century Earthenware Flower and Basket Weave Tea Pot
Majolica Late 19 th Century Earthenware Flower and Basket Weave Tea Pot Unusual and beautiful majolica tea pot with brown basket handle. The body is decorated with pink. White, yellow and brown what look like dahlias surrounded by variegated green leaves. The bottom and top of the body are decorated with turquoise basket weave designs. The base is not marked. The lid is decorated with a turquoise basket weave design centered with a flower form knob. This piece was made in the 1880s. Since it is not marked it may be an American made piece. This tea pot has a chip on the underside of the spot and two minor chips on the underside of the lid. No other chips that I can see. The pot shows little wear though the glaze does have a wonderful grazing. The lid does not fit perfectly but comparing the glaze on the lid and body and looking at the wear ... moreon the lid. This is the original lid that came with the tea pot. Majolica tea pots are difficult to find and pieces this early are truly difficult to find. GAUDY WELSH, IMARI, ENGLISH, IRONSTONE TEA SET, MID 19TH CENTURY, STAFFORDSHIRE
For your consideration is a very old English Ironstone tea set from the Staffordshire region dating to the 1850’s or possibly earlier. The decoration is referred to as Gaudy Welsh Imari. A mix of design elements from Wales and Japan with French in the top knops and mold shapes. This set is a seven piece set comprised of a teapot with lid. A sugar with lid, a creamer and two cups and saucers. The teapot measures 4-1/2” in diameter. Stands 4-1/2” tall, is 2-3/4” in diameter at the base and is 7” from tip of spout to end of handle. The sugar bowl measures 3-1/4” in diameter. Stands 3-3/8” tall, is 2-1/4” in diameter at the base and is 4” from end of handle to end of handle. The creamer measures 2-1/4” in diameter. Stands 2-1/2” tall, is 1-5/8” in diameter at the base and is 3-1/4” from tip of spout to end of handle. The saucers measure 4-1/2” ... morein diameter. The tea cups measure 2-3/4” in diameter. Stand 1-1/2” tall, are 1-3/8” in diameter at the base and are 3-3/8” from the end of the teacup to the end of the handle. There is a scroll design back stamp on the bottom of all pieces except for the cups whose bases were too small to accommodate the back stamp. This scroll mark should not be confused with the scroll mark found on some post 1861 Minton pieces with the added words of Amherst Japan. The mark on this set has yet to be manufacturer identified. Inside the scrolls are the hand lettered numbers“664” painted in red which were quality control codes referring to the person who decorated the piece. Additionally some of the pieces have impressed mold numbers. The condition of this set is remarkably brilliant. Considering its age. Pre-1860 or earlier, I would have expected to find numerous chips, cracks, repairs etc. I have examined each piece very closely and do not find any such problems with the exception of a few manufacturing flaws and a very faint ½” long crack to one of the saucers. This crack appears to be from manufacturer’s firing as there is no chip to the rim or other evidence to suggest it was made fro

Antique Villeroy & Boch Dresden Made in Germany 7" Tall 19th Century Teapot
This is a very RARE antique Villeroy& Boch coffee or teapot that stands close to 7" tall to the top of the finial. I have had it on a library shelf for over 50 years. It has an interesting blue& white floral pattern on the body and lid. Its flowing lines suggest an Art Nouveau design. Condition: the body is in remarkably good condition- age crackling only. The top has 2 cracks and chips on the underside and 1 chip on the rim. These do not threaten the integrity of the item and only the one on the top is visible. MADE IN GERMANY appears on the underside of the top. The trademark was used by V&B from 1874 to 1909. This pot is probably of the older variety of that period. It is identified as made in the Dresden factory and Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Some porcelain pieces show that patents were granted to V&B in 1913. This is an ... moreopportunity to obtain a beautiful piece of antique porcelain at a reasonable cost. Inside the USA. I will send this teapot FREE of charge by Priority Mail. I always pack very carefully and mail as soon as possible.
