Up for bid is a 1920's Art Deco tea pot made by G.M.Creyke& Sons. Made in Staffordshire. England. It is geometrical in shape and seems like it was hand painted. This kind of tea pot was inspired by an art deco cruise liner during those days. The metal spout of this tea pot was patented by G.M. Creyke& Sons. It was called as the first non-drip tea pot. There is a picture of the undermarkings. It has a stamp of GMC and also the number 691168. Stamped Made in England. No chips. Cracks, crazing, fading or repairs. This is a wonderful. Hand painted 3-piece tea set from Noritake done in the popular and beautiful"Azalea" pattern. Included in this set: 1- teapot with lid- 5" tall with lid and 8 ½" from spout to handle 1- sugar bowl with lid- 3 ½" tall with lid and 5 ¾" handle to handle 1- creamer- 3 ¼" tall and 5" spout to handle The Morimura Brothers( The Company later changed its name to Noritake) introduced this pattern in the 1920's when the Larkin Soap Company first offered it as a premium buy to their customers. Eventually the Larkin Soap Company would change its interests and become The Buffalo Pottery Company. These pieces do bear the green Noritake back-stamp of the Morimura Bothers- an"M" inside a wreath. Hello- This is a wonderful Antique Chocolate Pot Set. The set has VERY light wear marks. But no chips or cracks of any kind. The pot stands approx. 10" w/ handle x 7 1/2" at the widest. The serving tray/plate measures 10 1/2" wide w/ handles, and has a 8 1/2" serving area. Each cup is approx. 3" high x 2 1/2" across, with 5" saucers- pretty standard. It is properly marked on the bottom, with the artist signature being E.D.R. and sometimes just ED. This beautiful antique teapot was made in England Ca. the 1920's by P.B.B. Also known as the Price Brothers. The teapot measures about 8 1/2" wide from spout to handle and stands about 6 1/2" tall with cover on. It is marked"P.B.B. England" in raised relief on the bottom, and it has"Made in England, no. 300" in gold on it. It has a beautiful hand painted floral pattern in raised relief all around the exterior. I have for you this evening a beautiful antique piece of Noritake porcelain made in the early 1920's. This lovely piece is made of nice grade procelain and has been cast into a classic mold shape. The piece has been hand painted with floral design and deco trim elements around the top. This is a very nice piece of vintage Japanese porcelain made by one the premere porcelain makers of the time. This will make a great addition to your collection and will display wonderfully in your favorite cabinet or at table. Item dimensions and dating: All measurements are approximate. This piece stands 5.75" tall to top of finial with the cover in place and dates from the 1920's by the mark and design elements. There is a tiny bit of crazing(seen only in three areas- white paws of spout, underside of head when tipped upside down and removed, and finally the actual bottom of teapot) as is common with this item on most pieces offered for sale. There is an imperfection on the inside rim edge of the pot. At first glance. It looks like a nick, but if you examine it carefully(and I really tried) there is glaze over a portion of it, so my best guess is that it was in the manufacturing process. I cannot guarantee that, so please take a look as I tried to capture the area and see if it is bothersome. Only exposed if you have the head of the dog off. ALSO another imperfection and glazed over a a thin white line that was left uncolored, very small also on underside of head, should be noted. Have had this piece for years and hard to part with it. ANTIQUE NORITAKE PORCELAIN CREAM TEAPOT HANDPAINTED CIRCA 1911-1920 - JAPAN
This is a very pretty and unusual Noritake teapot from an estate sale with the trademark Noritake used from 1911 to 1920. Unfortunately. After doing a lot of research, I cannot find the name of the pattern. It is in extremely good condition for a piece of this age. The teapot has a cream background with a multi-color handpainted scene of a peacock among flowers. As a general rule. The earliest dinnerware was decorated with a liberal application of gol d which these Noritake pieces demonstrate. This teapot is approximately 15" in circumference. Approximately 4½" in height(exclusive of the lid) The handle is approximately 3" in length; the spout is also approximately 3" in length. The base of the teapot is approximately 3½" in diameter. This teapot has gold accents on the handle. The spout, the top rim. The ... moretop of the teapot has two stripes: the first one is yellow with a black design, the second one is green. On the front of the teapot there is a very pretty hand painted peacock in colors of medium blue. Dark blue, green and coral. The peacock is perched on a branch. The peacock and flowers are extremely detailed which you can see in the photos. The flowers are dark and light blue. Yellow, white, pink, pink and coral. This pattern amazingly has no damage. On the base of the teapot are the Noritake name and the initial“M” with a wreath around it. The“M” would indicate that it was made during the time the company was operating under“Morimura Bros. and later went by the names Nippon and Noritake. Under the wreath are the words“hand painted” and under that it indicates that it was“Made in Japan” One source indicates that this trademark would have been used during the time period of 1911-1920. However, another source indicates that it could have been made as late as 1914-1940. Even using the 1940 date, these Noritake pieces would be close to 75 years old. This is a 3 piece vintage tea set(Tea Pot. Creamer, Sugar Bowl) made of Lustreware china. The set was made by TT or"Double T" who was Takito, Japan around 1920's to 30's. Antique Japanese Satsuma Tea Set with a Geisha in Every Cup 1920's
Made in Kagoshima in Kyushu. Japan in the early 1900's this is the prized work of fine old Antique Satsuma wear decorated in Moriage Style with raised Dragons on the base of the teapot, creamer and sugar with the dragons head on the lid. These are exceptionally beautiful, the gold is still vibrant and the pastels play off the gray in a terrific pattern. There are six each of the saucers, and plates, only five cups otherwise in perfect condition. These were found in an abandoned house so they had been used very lightly then hidden for years under the floor of the kitchen in a wooden box. There is a beautiful Geisha in the bottom of each cup. These are a collectors dream.

DESCRIPTION: Up for bids is this beautiful antique chocolate(cocoa) pot. Made by William Guerin& Co. Limoges, France. The pot is a darling small size to serve one or two people. The body of the piece is white porcelain molded in a puffy and swirled design, and it has a scalloped top. Note that the overall shape of the pot is oval rather than round. It is decorated on both sides with delicate spring wildflowers(pink peonies, yellow and pink daisies, and blue forget-me-nots) and touches of gold on the spout, handle, and finial. The pattern is a little different on each side. It has a green stamped mark for Guérin& Co. Limoges France on the bottom. The piece measures about 6 1/2 inches wide from handle to spout. 3 1/2 inches across the base, and 7 1/2 inches tall with the lid on.
