The jug has an early applied handle. The pitcher is has an impressed mark to the underside that I believe reads, "SPODE". I believe the jug dates from the first part of the 19th century. I offer this lustreware jug with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The pitcher is 6" H. x 5 5/8" W. x 8 3/8" L. from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. CONDITION: The condition is very good with some nicks to the spout and some staining to the handle. I checked the jug under a blacklight and it shows no signs of damage or repairs.

The item measures 6” tall x 4.75” long x 4.25” wide & 3.25” deep weighing 1 pound 13.7 ounces before packaging to ship. The salt box is in overall nice shape. No chips or crazing. I have all the pieces, and all are free of chips or cracks. The lustrous pattern is very pretty and features a flower basket design on a white center with a wide bright iridescent rim. There is black trim and black handles on all the pieces. The 15 pieces to the set consist of: a teapot, creamer, sugar, 4 cups, 4 saucers, and 4 dessert plates. RARE ANTIQUE ENGLISH CREAMWARE TEAPOT W/AMERICAN SHIPS CA. 1800 - LUSTERWARE
A wonderful antique English creamware covered ovoid teapot with pink luster banding and decoration. This early ceramic pot has a scarce scenic transfer design in rust color of an American steam-powered riverboat with figures on one side. And an 18th century American Naval warship with anchor and large eagle on the opposite side(flying both American and British flags) The teapot is 9.5" long x 6" high. The body is in very good condition with little to no staining and only 2 minor hair lines, one on each side(not very obvious) The cover has scenic designs on each side as shown and does have an old repair to the finial and an age line. Unsigned, I believe it was produced in the Liverpool, Leeds or Staffordshire area of England circa 1800-1820. A rare piece made for the American market, don't miss out! This auction is for an antique Teapot made by Sudlow's. It is marked on the bottom Sudlow's Burslem Made in England. It is a beautiful light emerald green color with an intricate raised design done on the front and back. It is trimmed in a silvery lusterware. It stands measures 6.5" tall. It is in nice condition. There is a little roughness around the edge of the bottom but I don't see any chips. The inside part of the top has a large chip missing but you can't see that with the top on. This set was given as a wedding gift on Sept. 18th. 1929. I found another note in the vase, which was also a wedding gift from the same wedding. The back of the plate is hand-written in gold of the details that are on the note. I can only put 12 photos on the listing- so that photo does not show. The plates(not the saucers) look worn. Not sure from storage or use. One saucer has a crack(which someone wrote on the underside"cracked" and put a blue line by the crack. The rest of the items look amazing! Beautiful condition!
