It has a detailed flower motif in purple and blue with a mauve rose under spout and on lid. The lid locks onto pot in what is called a bayonet style and has a hole in lid for access of the muddler or spoon for stirring. It is in great condition with only a few scratches on bottom from table use and is signed on bottom D.V. for the French maker Mennecy-Villeroy starting soon after c1748 to 1765. I have included my research on the marks in the pictures above. It is a lovely piece and ready for use or a great addition any collection. An interesting 18th century German hard paste porcelain jug with reeded relief molded body decorated in an all over puce floral motif with gilt highlights. Geometric border similar to that found of Chinese Kangxi porcelains. Marked on the bottom with a script R. Good overall condition- there is a star hairline on the bottom and one on the handle. Here we have a lovely English Porcelain Tea or Chocolate Pot. It was made by the Empire Porcelain Company of Stoke on Trent sometime between 1896 and 1912. The piece stands 10.5" tall with lid. Measures 6.5" from handle to spout, and has a 3" base diameter. It is all cobalt blue on cream in color, and features a seascape and shore scene with sail and row boats in the water and homes, churches and windmills along the shoreline. Overall condition is superb for its age, with no chips, cracks or other damage present, and only very minor crazing of the finish. The Empire crown and logo mark is stamped prominently on the bottom, and this particular variant dates the piece at no later than 1912. This auction is for a Striking Antique Porcelain Flow Blue Chocolate Pot that is boldly decorated around the body with flowers outlined in Gold accents. The piece Displays Wonderfully and would add a burst of color to any china cabinet. The handles- the one on the body as well as the one on the lid- are neatly designed in a bamboo shape. The pot is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks in the body or the lid. There is age-appropriate loss of the gold trim, mostly to the outside of the spout and the handle. The inside of the spout has some minor toning and crazing. The piece measures 8 1/2 inches tall including the lid and is about 6 inches wide including the handle. I am not certain of the exact origin. Maker or age of the piece. For sale is a lovely German chocolate pot with ornate pattern and gold gilt. This chocolate pot came from a vintage collection of chocolate pots from an upstate New York estate home. It was acquired. Porcelain Chocolate Pot Antique Bavaria Flora Moschendorf PM 1895-1910 Portrait
Selling a chocolate pot made by A. G. Moschendorf. In the Flora pattern. The pot is bottom marked with the PM in a wreath with a crown at the top and Bavaria underneath all in green, and under all that in red is the pattern name Flora. The piece stands 9 1/2 inches tall to the top of the finial. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. It has gold highlights on the finial, around the rim, handle and spout, also around the mid section. The piece is is dcprated with a pair of maidens with garlands of flowers. The back ground is blue sky with clouds. The piece is also decorated with flowers, that look like azalea blossoms in pink and white. The piece dates from 1895 to 1910 based on the marks on the piece. Overall condition is great with no chips to make note of excluding a very tiny nibble to the inside rim of the lid. Very minor and fairly hard to spot but I prefer to make note. I've posted a picture so take a good look. As noted the base of the pot is marked Germany 39 in red and also has an incised mark which appears to be GHK 350/2. The name Mary Sible is written in silver as well and we can only presume that she was a past owner. The rose decoration is very clear and brightly colored transfer& there is a bit of gold trim. Up for auction is a JHR'Alice' signed chocolate pot signed Lundstrom. I couldn't find out much about this item other than it must be rather rare since I couldn't find another one anywhere on the internet. There are no cracks or crazing. This charming Metal Can form Porcelain Cream Pitcher or miniature Chocolate Pot measures about 4-3/4" tall. It is unmarked. This type of decor most reminds me of the early-mid 19th century scattered flowers type designs out of German manufacturers of the time. This piece is completely unmarked. One of the most interesting features of this little vessell is the gold gilt faux screws holding it together. The glaze and pastel colors are still intact. Some of the gold is worn off. There are no chips or cracks or repairs that can be seen. There are NO markings or stamp or numbers anywhere on the teapot so that country of origin or maker are unknown. The height is 6" tall. The width at the widest part is 6" from spout to handle. This is a lovely. Antique chocolate pot. It stands 8 1/2 inches tall including the lid. The pot is hand painted with flowers and scroll work. It has a lovely swirl to the porcelain and the pattern, alternating green and white. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is very delicate translucent Nippon. Although not hallmarked. It is reflective of Royal Nippon Related Chocolate Pot produced in Japan during the early 1900`s or earlier. There are no chips.
