Compressed body on low foot with spare molded foliation at spout& handle attach. Characteristic early period botanical style floral decoration painted in color enamels. Including unusual turquoise blue 5 petal blossom trimmed in magenta. The magenta shows the pinkish halo formed when the overglaze enamel melts into the glaze. This occurs because the melting temperatures of softpaste porcelain glazes& color enamels are about the same. Gilded molded blossom finial, gold trim. Rare Childs Pearlware Tea Set Teapot DAISY& BEAD Spode ~ Staffordshire. England c. 1810 This is a very early teapot or hot water pitcher. Originally part of a complete nursery tea set made for childs play or to accessorize an elegant pre-Victorian dollhouse. The pitcher is printed in a brilliant cobalt blue against a creamy earthenware blank. Finished with thick pearlware glaze, decorated with an overall sheet print of stylized daisy flowers and beaded edge. It stands 2 1/2" tall and measures about 6" from handle to spout. It has no maker's marks. The pattern is shown on an early Spode teapot in Lorraine Punchard’s book“Playtime Pottery& Porcelain from the US an UK” page 36) And according to David Drakard's book"Spode Transfer Printed Ware 1784- 1833" the pattern is identified as"Daisy and Bead" ... moremade by Spode in the early 19th century. The tiny pitcher is in great condition with a tiny glaze flake on the top rim and no other chips cracks or repairs. The lid is missing. Still a nice example of a fine early pattern. Lovely old tea pot in colors of ivory. Sand, black and much gold. I have no other info on this tea pot as I purchased it at an estate sale of a person who collected for 80 years and had a penchant for Oriental items. It measures almost ten inches wide and seven and a half inches high. I found no chips, but there is wearing of the gold, especially on the edge of the tip of the lid. The teapot measures approx. 8.5 inches from spout to handle edges. 5 inches tall. There is some crazing marks across the bottom(not sure if you call it crazing so please see photos) Otherwise the teapot is in nice condition with some of the gold trim wearing on the lid as you can see in the photos also. The teapot. I believe from the hallmarks is from 1894-1895. Pattern number I believe is C6238 With this hallmark with England at the bottom 1886– 1902 Coronet added to mark the appoinment of Henry Doulton as Potter to HRH The Prince of Wales. Extraordinary Antique Zsolnay Pécs Hungary Tea / Dessert Set 1873-1878 Very Rare
In my 13 years on eBay. I have not had the privilege to auction something as rare or as nice as this remarkable set. This is 17 piece antique Zsolnay Pécs Hungary Tea or dessert set. Beautiful glaze which Zsolnay was famous for glistens on this set. Beautiful hand painted Turkish/ floral pattern. All pieces are under glazed with the five blue towers mark from 1873-1878. The saucers and plates are incised/ embossed"Zsolnay Pécs" with individual hand painted and incised numbers. The set is 17 pieces and I will describe each of them the best possible. In detail, no matter how minor. The set includes: 6) 8 1/4 inch plates(4) 2 1/2 in tall. 2 3/4 in wide cups(4 to handle) 4) 5 1/4 in saucers(saucers stand 3/4 in tall(1) 9 in tall(to top of handle) 8 inch long(to tip of spout) teapot with wonderful brass handle. 1) 6 1/2 in ... morewide(handle to handle) sugar pot. The pot sits 5 inches tall to lid tip. 1) 5 1/2 tall and 5 inch wide to handle creamer. Condition details on the teapot are none. It is in mint condition with crazing all over. As to be expected. The creamer is in mint condition with no fleabites or cracks of any kind. Even the gold trim is perfectly intact. The sugar pot itself is in perfect condition, however the lid has been repaired professionally and visibly takes nothing away from the piece(seen in pic 11) All 6 plates are in excellent condition. They of course are all crazed. One lightweight stain through the craze, perfectly normal, takes nothing away from piece. All 4 saucers are of course crazed as well. Only a few light fleabites on the rims of the saucers with no damage to any. I can say the same for the cups as well. All 4 cups don't have any cracks, breaks, or repairs but three of them have a fleabite/ shallow chip each. Once again, as to be expected with such an old set from probable casual usage. Lg Nippon Coffee/ Tea Pot Roses Gold Accents Very Nice
My oh my.one of my favorite patterns of Nippon ware. Had the three colors of roses in yellow. Red and pink both fully opened as well as buds. Shades of green, yellow, blue and brown leaves accents the flowers. Background colors in blended shades of yellows, pinks and blues along with a creamy color. The dark ruby red color toward the rim and base has a very ornate gold pattern on it. A fluted base shape with more of the red and gold striping along with some gold scroll. At the rim is a gold band. The finial and handle have gold accenting them. The finials top looks sort of like a pineapple. Please see closeups for a more exacting description. This piece is quite sizeable.probably would hold a quart or more of liquid.maybe even two quarts. It stands at about 9 1/4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide from outside of the handle to the end of the ... morespout. Examining this unmarked piece I find it to be in very nice condition. Evenn the gold has very limited wear. I cannot detect any chips, cracks or repairs. The only thing I would consider, is the new owner giving it a good cleaning so it could display its very best. ANTIQUE/VINTAGE WHITE PORCELAIN TEAPOT WITH ROSES AND LUSTER TRIM
Antique/vintage white porcelain teapot with roses. Blue flowers, and grey-green leaves patterned on both sides, it's not marked but it looks to be hand painted. The porcelain is done with a twisting vertical swirl that adds a very nice texture to the teapot. The foot or base is done in a bluish/lavender luster glaze, and gold gilding adorns the lid, handle, spout, and by the roses. This dainty teapot measures about 8.5" from spout to handle, and is about 5.5" from base to top of lid. It is a smaller pot, I'd say holds 2 cups or so. There is a very small chip on the underside of the rim of the base. Two of the last three pictures show it with the pot upside down, then sitting normally. There is also a pin hole in the glaze, most likely a tiny air bubble when fired, very small. last picture) This would make a great addition ... moreto one's collection or for display.

A treacle glazed. Cadogan shaped teapot, dating to c.1830. Decorated with relief moulded flowers and fruit. Unmarked but very probably by the Brameld factory of Swinton, in Yorkshire. Measuring 5.75" high and 8" across, from the spout to the handle. There is a piece of missing"vine" between the spout and body, and there is a tiny chip to one of the leaf tips(see photos) There is also minor scratching to the sides.

10 Pc Antique Art Nouveau Hexagonal Chocolate/Coffee Set, Heavy Gold Gilding
This lovely porcelain chocolate set features heavy gilding on gently undulating raised blooms(I think they are"snowflakes" a flower native to central and southern Europe) And a transfer-ware floral in pinks and yellows. This stunning set includes the chocolate/coffee pot w/ lid, 4 cups and 4 saucers. The pot is hexagonal and quite linear in shape. A different transfer pattern appears on the back of the pot. The cups have a delicate, scalloped shape. The saucers repeat the raised, gilded snowflakes. The porcelain is so thin and translucent on all of the pieces. There are no hallmarks on any of the pieces but the Art Nouveau style suggests a date of the early 1900s. While I can't say where the set was made. I'm inclined to believe it is from Germany or Austria. There are condition issues: 3 of the cups have 1-2 tiny fleabites ... morearound the rims. 1 cup has a larger chip& hairline. The pitcher has a small chip and hairline on the top opening and the lid has a small chip. The saucers have no damage. There are varying amounts of wear to the heavy gilding. Although there are multiple defects, each are quite small and as you can see from the photos, the set displays very well and is still completely functional. The interiors of all are very clean and free of stains. The pot is 9-½" tall and holds 48 oz. The cups hold 6 oz. Will be carefully packed and fully insured against damage or loss. This teacup and saucer is detailed with china hutches. Gardens, and bridges with unique patterns. It has a crown on the bottom of the pieces and under the crown is the year 1789. Then it says adderley bone china made in england. Antique COTTAGE WARE TEAPOT England Price Bros Stamped Registered Good Cond
A ca. 1935 Price Kensington. Cottage Ware" tea pot. Fully stamped, Registered Cottage Ware. Measures 6" tall and 8 1/2" from tip to tip. The base measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" It's a 4 cup teapot and holds 32 ounces. There is some staining on the inside. The only damage is some chipping and 2 small repairs to the very inside of the rim where the lid fits. It was likely by putting the lid on a little too hard the odd time that did the chipping.T his can not be seen at all when the lid is on. I promise you absolutely nothing takes away from the presentation of this pretty English piece. Please study the photographs carefully for condition and details.

There are two different backstamps on the set- the same backstamp of the pot, the sugar bowl and the milk jug, and a different backstamp of the cups, saucers and plates. We are sure this is the same company, as the coronet is the same, but can't confirm that in our research. There is absolutely no difference in the design of any of the pieces. The pot stands 16.5cm in height and is approximately 21cm from the spout to the handle. The jug is 9.5cm high and the lidded sugar bowl 9.2cm. The cups are 7cm high. This type of decor most reminds me of the early-mid 19th century scattered flowers type designs out of German manufacturers of the time. This piece is completely unmarked. One of the most interesting features of this little vessell is the gold gilt faux screws holding it together. 19c. W.T. Copeland & Sons Late Spode English Lang Syne Burn's Pattern Teapot
This W.T. Copeland& Sons teapot Blue Transferware measures about 4" tall and 7" from handle to spout. it was designed in the Burn's Pattern as clearly labeled on the bottom. The teapot has no registry mark. But the transitional hallmarks on the bottom i presume would date the piece from about 1865-70. The teapot was used and has light staining to the interior and a tiny spout chip as pictured. It is a great looking vessel.
