Japanese Hand Painted Luster Ware Teapot. Sugar bowl and Creamer- very pretty and in excellent condition. The colors are vibrant and the"lusterware" rainbow colors are beautiful. The teapot from spout to handle is 8 1/2" 3 1/2" wide at the mouth and 3 1/2" wide at the bottom. The creamer is 3 1/2' high, 3" wide at the mouth and 2 1/2" at the bottom. The sugar bowl is 5" high, 6 1/2" wide including the handles, 2 1/4" wide at the mouth and 3" at the bottom. It is in very good condition with no cracks, dings or dents. Gorgeous pink lustre luster butterfly teapot & sugar c 1830-as is, for display
Offered here is this lovely pink luster or lustre set of a teapot and sugar. The pattern is of a butterfly and flowers. And likely dates from between 1830 and 1850. The teapot measures about 10 1/2 inches across the widest part(handle to spout) and is about 6 1/2 high(at top of handle) The creamer measures about 6 3/4 inches across, and 5 3/4 high. This set has had a hard life in the past; it has quite a bit of old damage. Hairlines, staining, as well as chips along the inner lips of both pieces. The teapot spout is chipped, and the finials are broken off both lids. Please look carefully at the photos-I've tried to photograph every last condition issue but if you want more photos please ask. ANTIQUE/VINTAGE WHITE PORCELAIN TEAPOT WITH ROSES AND LUSTER TRIM
Antique/vintage white porcelain teapot with roses. Blue flowers, and grey-green leaves patterned on both sides, it's not marked but it looks to be hand painted. The porcelain is done with a twisting vertical swirl that adds a very nice texture to the teapot. The foot or base is done in a bluish/lavender luster glaze, and gold gilding adorns the lid, handle, spout, and by the roses. This dainty teapot measures about 8.5" from spout to handle, and is about 5.5" from base to top of lid. It is a smaller pot, I'd say holds 2 cups or so. There is a very small chip on the underside of the rim of the base. Two of the last three pictures show it with the pot upside down, then sitting normally. There is also a pin hole in the glaze, most likely a tiny air bubble when fired, very small. last picture) This would make a great addition ... moreto one's collection or for display.

This beautiful vintage lustreware teapot is a low-fire platinum glaze. That's what gives the silver luster it's color and sheen. It came to be known as"poor man's silver" The teapot is not marked, but probably from England. The age of the teapot is apparent. The teapot is complete and no chips on the body; but, the lid does have a small chip on the inside, the clay body reveled by the chip is red earthen ware. The set was made in the first half of the 1800's. The tea set is decorated with a lovely copper metallic luster. The tea set is done in classic form with nice ribbing on the body and lid. The set includes: Teapot: 10 3/4 inches from handle to spout and 6 1/4 inches tall. 1 Covered Sugar: 7 inches across the handles and 4 1/2 inches tall. 1 Creamer: 5 3/4 inches from handle to spout and 4 1/4 inches tall. The ribbing on the side and lid of the sugar bowl is narrower than the teapot and creamer. And it is possible that the sugar bowl came from a different set than the creamer& teapot. If so, the marriage is a very good one, and even ... morethe copper luster finish matches perfectly. The overall condition is excellent. The teapot. Sugar bowl and creamer all ring nicely when pinged. If there are any cracks we cannot find them. The lid of the teapot has a number of chips to the edge, but it still rings well. We have pointed these out in the last photo. The teapot itself is in great shape, with only a tiny flake to the very top edge and one at the spout. This is visible in the last photo, a little to the left of the 12 o'clock position. It is very clean overall. There are no breaks, no other cracks, no splits, no dents, no other chips and no repairs. This Hand Painted Mustard Decorated Copper Lustre Teapot has a Beautiful Eagle and Heart Handle. It is referred to in Henry E. Kelly's Scottish Ceramics. On page 55 under Caledonian Pottery, Glasgow. It was Unusual to find Hand Painted pieces with copper Lustre, according to the text on the next page. Antique Chelsea China Grandmothers Ware Large Embossed Teapot Flowers w/Luster
This is a pretty antique Chelsea Grandmothers Ware teapot(unmarked) The sprigged flower design is heavily lustered with a very pretty embossed design throughout. Would make a great shelf piece. The lid has a rather long crack(see photos) on which a meager attempt was made to repair(not by me) and is very noticeable underneath the lid. But the rest of the teapot is amazing given its age. Close examination reveals that a repair(much better repair than on the lid and not noticeable unless you examine closely) may have been made on one edge of the teapot where the lid rests. The handle and spout show no cracks or hairlines. Nor does the rest of the teapot. This is a beautiful antique Chelsea Grandmothers Ware teapot- from 1844. Embossed registration mark on the bottom which I have researched down to the month(November) The sprigged grapevine design is heavily lustered with a very pretty embossed design throughout. This piece is stunning and is done with pink daisiys(please note that they look a bit more purple in the photos) The piece is also done with a raised gold gilt moriage and hand painted with thin purple and yellow violets. The top is done in a sage green luster. there are two small fleabites to the flowers. one on the top finial and one onone of the side flowers that I have pointed out in one of the photos. Its an obvious as is piece. Lots of damage: spout has been broken off and glued back in place. Lid has a large chip off the inner rim. Inside rim of pot has 2 old chips. We are listing this cute little late 1800s copper luster teapot with matching lid. It is marked on the bottom with a cursive name which appears to be M. Jacques. Although the name sounds French. The piece looks English and I believe it was brought to America from Britain in the first half of the 20th century. The piece has a great antique look to it, with the hand painted decoration and overall patina. With the lid, it stands 5.5 inches tall, is over 7 inches at its widest point, and is in very good condition.
