From my mother's estate is this beautiful blue and silver tea pot from Sadler England. It's in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, crazing or other signs of use. Mom had this teapot from early in her marriage which would make it about 60 years old. Marked in silver leaf on the bottom is 2768(or possibly the last number could be a 5) and VR. You may remember I had the creamer. Trivet and lidded sugar bowl of"The Old Mill" pattern listed- and I just found the teapot, so I am delighted to offer all the service items of this set, complete! In very very good condition- this circa 1947 Sadler English China set is very impressive in its complete formation. Aside from some extremely light underglaze crazing on the bottoms of the bases only. This set has a few manufacturing spots typical of the stoneware china from which it was created. It is most likely the strength of this set made for household use, rather than just pretty display, which made it survive all these decades so well! No chips or cracks at all. All pieces are hand signed and hand numbered. All pieces are of a"footed" design. And colorful, with colors of green blue yellow and pink Handpainted over the ... moretransfer ware graphics. A little rustic, but so unique! Full sized tea pot is 9" from tip of spout to back of handle. 6" wide and 6.5" tall from base to top of finial on lid. SADLER COMPANY ANTIQUE FLORAL TEAPOT
This is a colorful Vintage Floral Tea Pot by the Sadler Company. Made in England. The tea pot measures approximately 6 inches high. 10 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide. The oval base measures from 3 1/4 inches wide(in diameter) to 3 5/8 inches long(in diameter) The chintz style flowers are shades of pink. Burgundy, yellow, blue and green, and the pot has a gold spout and handle as well as gold trim accents on the pot and the top. The pattern number is 2005 and it appears to have an"A" beneath it(both hand written in gold on the bottom of the pot) This teapot is in very good condition with no chips. It has a spot on the front of the spout where the gold paint has worn off. It does have crazing on the interior half of the teapot.

The pattern features an old mill with a water wheel nestled in the countryside with blue water, blue skies, castle turrets in the distance and heavily flowered bottom edges, lid and handles. Not a hint of gold! The pot is 7¼" wide from tip of spout to edge of handle, has a 2¾" diameter opening, and is about 5" in diameter at the widest part of the bowl. The footed base is 3-3/8" in diameter and the pot stands 7" tall including the locking lid. A nice beautiful old Teapot from an Estate sale that I bought to go with some bone china exotic jungle wildlife animal cups. It looked great in the Rain Forest theme) It has a warm rich look with the coco brown and ivory colors trimmed with gold. Please review pics for size and details. Condition is very good. No cracks or crazing found. There is a small dull chip on the top rim of lid. And same of the bottom underside rim.
