ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN TEAPOT OR CHOCOLATE POT- EARLY 1900's
Beautiful Antique Teapot or Chocolate Pot in delicate colors Early 1900's maybe before that. It has been in my family forever! There is a strainer inside which must have been to strain tea leaves. The glaze and pastel colors are still intact. Some of the gold is worn off. There are no chips or cracks or repairs that can be seen. There are NO markings or stamp or numbers anywhere on the teapot so that country of origin or maker are unknown. The height is 6" tall. The width at the widest part is 6" from spout to handle. The bottom is 2 3/4"across. I will try to answer any questions you may have. It will be carefully wrapped and insured. Please pay by Paypal.

These American pieces date to around 1860. Civil War era. 5 cups and saucers. The cups measure 4" diameter and 2 7/8" tall. The saucers are 7" in diameter. 2 serving plates which measure 9 1/4" in diameter. And• 1 serving or fruit bowl measuring 6 1/2" in diameter and 4" tall. The bowls of the cups and the larger bowl have 12 panels around the sides. The cup handles are shaped somewhat like import porcelain handles. All the pieces have gold decorating the edges. Sides and centers except for the bowl which does not have gold on the top rim. The two serving plates have gold decoration which suggests handles. Antique Hand Painted "Japonica" Teapot marked C/Y
Lovely Japonica patterned Teapot in excellent(mint) condition. The floral pattern is highlighted with gold outlining and a delicate spattering of gold that edges the lid and the top of the base. The bulbous shape base has fourteen scalloped bands of alternating pale green and lavender. The lid has a small button-like finial that is also scalloped with an intricate gold design. It also has a vent hole. The handle is not original. Because when I bought it. It did not have one. After diligent search, I replaced it with a bamboo handle that blended with the original design. It is approximately 7" from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the base. The base measures approximately 4 1/2" to the top finial of the lid. With the handle upright the height is 7 1/2" The base is marked with C Y in a diamond and the pattern name Japonica. ... moreI have been able to determine that Japonica was a pattern manufactured by Trenton Potteries but cannot identify the mark. Lovely Chelsea Bird adorns this stacking teapot which includes pot. Sugar, creamer and lid. The bird sits on a branch of floral blooms in vivid colors. All pieces are trimmed with an Art Deco design of blue/black and gilt accents. All pieces are marked the same and numbered the same, 44064. The sugar is also incised with the number 2664 and the teapot and creamer have the number 26 in gilt on them. The green mark consists of a circular wreath with a crown atop and"Union T" inside the wreath. Underneath the wreath is Czecho-Slovakia. Musterschutz is followed by the number 44064. Musterschutz is a German word for patented, copyrighted, registered design. From research, I date this to the 1920s. You can learn more about Musterschutz porcelain on the Porcelain marks and more website. Dimensions: Stacking height is 7" Teapot alone ... moreis 3.5" high, WITHOUT lid. Spout to handle is 6.5" Pot is 3.5" between spout and handle. NO chips/cracks. Creamer is 1.75" high. 4" spout to handle. Creamer cup is 2.5" between spout and handle. NO chips/cracks. Sugar cup is 1.25" High x 2.5" across open top. NO chips/cracks. The only damage to this set is that the lid had been broken, but expertly repaired, however the epoxy used to make the repair has yellowed with age. I know this can be cleaned but leaving that to the experts.

Beautiful Royal Crown Teapot in the shape of a maiden with flowers. Very detailed. Multi-colored porcelain. I bought her from an estate auction. She is a different color from any of the others I have ever seen. There is wear, due to age; it is shown in the pictures I took. There is a small chip on the end of the spout. No other visible damage. The larger chip is on the inside of the cover. This is a very collectible piece. The bottom of the teapot is stamped with a crown and says, Registered Royal Crown, Germany.

This beautiful vintage lustreware teapot is a low-fire platinum glaze. That's what gives the silver luster it's color and sheen. It came to be known as"poor man's silver" The teapot is not marked, but probably from England. The age of the teapot is apparent. This striking Palissy tea set is cream colored with a bold geometric pattern of brown. Blue and green. This set has a tall pitcher with 4 cups, 4 saucers and a creamer. All pieces are in very good condition, the only flaw i have been able to find is a hairline crack on the handle of the pitcher where it looks like it was repaired at one time. The pitcher measures 10 inches tall with the lid and is 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. Cups are 3 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the mouth. The creamer is 2 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches across from the spout to handle. Each saucer is 5 inches in diameter. Spout has two small indentations opposite each other that look intentional from manufacturing. Metal stand is 4" H with dolphin posts. Porcelain base is the cobalt color with gold laurel trim. Base has blue mark& Alsbourg with blue crossed swords with dot at center. Pot has mark with crown in clouds in oval that says L'Excellente with an N below. None of the marks could be identified. Good to very good estate condition for age. Wear to plating on ... moremetal stand. Porcelain base has gold wear. Browning in glaze and is missing the candle holder. Teapot has gold wear and some spots in cobalt blue base and lid, light crazing on one side.no chips or cracks. Metal stand needs nuts.though post ends have solder and not threads. Spotted, stained bases. Flowers are excellent! This is a gorgeous display piece. Gold restoration on teapot would make it stunning. Pot does not leak but has some unknown spots on the interior that would need careful cleaning and inspection before using it. Metal stand will fit into base fairly securely. Antique 19th C. Tischer Karlsbad Handpainted Teapot Pitcher w/ Dragon Handle
Late 19th Century highly decorated and hand-painted teapot/service vessel marked Tischer Karlsbad with an R in a horseshoe(as shown) and also incised with a"965" and a"9" on the underside. This true antique porcelain tea pitcher is highly decorated in a handpainted floral pattern with thick gold overlay throughout. It features a superbly designed dragon handle. There is even decoration on the inside rim of the pitcher. It is in excellent overall condition. A gentle cleaning is all it requires. Some of the gold lining on the rim(where the lid rests) is faded. As is the decoration on the interior of the rim. Little bit of fading and the slightest fleabites at the spout. Germany Alphabet Tea Set A lovely set of 6 cups. 6 saucers, creamer, and covered sugar each marked"Germany" All pieces are white with gold trim, the cups and creamer also boast alphabet letters along with their gilt handles. Each cup measures 2 3/4" across the mouth, 3 1/2" including handle, and 2 5/8" tall. Each saucer is 5 1/8" across.
