A set of cups and saucers with teapot. Sugar bowl and creamer. It looks like a childs teaset to me as it is quite small. The pot is 5.25 inches tall, the sugar bowl is 2.25 inches tall, the creamer is 2.25 inches tall, the cup is 2.25 inches tall and the saucer is 4.75 inches in diameter. The pattern is#7388 but it looks like"Briar Rose" to me. It has pink rose buds and green foliage with a rose inside the cup. It is trimmed with gold. Antique English Pearlware Flow Blue Tea Canister Transfer Printed 1780-1800
A early English(Staffordshire? pearlware tea canister with its lid. Transfer printed underglaze in blue with a chinoiserie showing four individuals in a garden. Both sides show the same image. The blue is very dark and has somewhat run, looking like flow blue. The glaze has a distinct blue color all over. I have not been able to identify the image from the literature on transfer prints and blue and white. The shape is more common with 18th century creamware. I believe this to be a very early piece of transfer printed pearlware. Ca. 1780-1800. The earliest pearlware was imitating blue and white Chinese and English porcelain and often has a distinctly blue glaze due to the addition of cobalt to the glaze to get the blue color. As is common with early pieces from the 18th century, the canister is unmarked. Condition: The canister and lid are ... morein good condition. With the following damages: Three small chips on de underside of the canister(see photographs of details) A scar to the glaze where the canister touched another object when it was fired Some fleabites Very fine crazing overall Lid: 2 hairlines each ca. 1/2” One chip and one firing crack, all to the sleeve and none of them visible when the lid is on the canister. Up for auction is a wonderful antique coffee or tea pot with a hand painted bird on a branch on two sides. The coffee or tea pot is about 9 1/2 tall. I do not know who made it but it is marked on the bottom with Victorian Registration Marks& Kitemarks(see picture) My best interrupitation of the makrs indicate that this pattern was registered in 1882. The piece is in great condition with no crack. Chips or glazing. The colors are clear and vibrant. Up for sale is a beautiful demitasse cup and saucer. The fine gold detail on this piece is amazing. Pictures within the gold are throughout each piece.a man swinging a lady and. On the opposite side, he is playing a musical instrument for her. The saucer measures 4 1/2" wide and the cup measures 3 3/8" tall. Each piece is in excellent condition with light gold loss. Antique Teapot - Handpainted - 7 inches Tall
Offered is this beautiful small teapot. Probably made in Germany but the mark on the bottom is worn and now illegible. 6 1/2 inches from spout tip to edge of handle and 7 inches tall. Hand-painted with what look to me like violets and a beautifully and delicately shaded(in pastels) background. Gold has been applied to rim of pot. Lid knob and rim of spout. This little pot. Itself, is in perfect shape, but the handle atop the lid has at some point been broken off and repaired. As a result there is a tiny chip of porcelain missing at the base of the gold covered knob on top. This piece still displays beautifully and could even be pressed into service for an elegant high tea. Will ship promptly to winning bidder upon confirmation of payment via PayPal.

Fantastic Vintage Art Deco Teapot, Depression Era? - Hand Painted, Japan
Here is an exceptional. Charming Art Deco teapot, from a recent estate sale. It probably dates to the 1930s, but I can't say with 100 percent certainty, it could be a little earlier. It is stamped"MADE IN JAPAN" on the bottom, and is definitely pre-WWII. The floral design is 100 percent hand painted, with cheerful, vibrant colors and a great deal of skill. The shape is whimsical and very evocative of the era. In excellent condition, with absolutely no chips, cracks, crazing, discoloration, or damage of any kind. There is just a little wear to the gold trim, specifically on the handles. Measures 7" front-to-back; it is 3-1/4" wide and 4-1/4" tall. This is a fabulous antique set for 4 by Z.S. and Co.of Bavaria. All of the pieces have the green makers mark on the underside. Dating it back to 1880 through 1918. These sets are very difficult to find in good condition, as they are so fine and fragile. This particular set is in remarkable condition, especially considering its age. I have all the pieces, and all are free of chips or cracks. The lustrous pattern is very pretty and features a flower basket design on a white center with a wide bright iridescent rim. There is black trim and black handles on all the pieces. The 15 pieces to the set consist of: a teapot, creamer, sugar, 4 cups, 4 saucers, and 4 dessert plates. The teapot stands 6 and 3/4 in tall, the sugar bowl is 5 in tall, and the creamer is 3 and a1/4 in high. Description You are bidding on this New Hall Pottery teapot and underplate in the Silver Shape(also called Commode Shape) made 1790-1800 in Hanley. Staffordshire, England. The pot is decorated in the Knitting Wool pattern known as pattern number 195. This porcelain teapot is a moulded silver shape with ogee curved flutes between straight ridges. The lid is flat with a flask knop. The stand is fluted to fit the teapot. The decoration consists of a complex border of iron-red string and magenta festoons at the shoulder with. Miles Mason Teapot& Stand Early 1800's Bat Printed Gilded Low Oval Sheep Shepherd Pattern 74 Hello from Spyglass Treasures and Spyglass Booty! We are constantly trying to"SPY" out treasures for you in our travels. Please come back often because you never know what we have"commandeered" to offer you! This is a gorgeous 200 year old teapot with its stand or underplate made by Miles Mason in England. This lovely porcelain teapot and stand is white. With a little age darkening, with black transferware scene bat printed on two sides and on the top of the underplate. Then heavy gold is accented on the edges, lid finial, handles, and spout. The bat printed scene shows a farm in the background with trees. In the foreground, another tree and in between the scene of the shepherd gesturing to try to move the flock of sheep. ... moreThe shape of the teapot is called"low oval" and it has wonderful details like the subtle little catches for the lid so it won't flop off when pouring(you should still have your hand on the finial to ensure there is no accident) Also, the lid underside has a lip that is partial around the oval and the base is squared off so the lip on the lid will also catch there, so it, again, won't easily slide. These little details bespeak quality, that is for sure! I'm in love with this as you can probably tell by how many pictures I have included to show you all angles. The stand is signed with an impressed mark. M. MAS N" the"O" is illegible) There is also an impressed number above, 3" or"8" I suppose. It is faint. Hand painted on the base of the teapot and underside of the stand is the pattern number, No. 74" A wonderful treasure you NEED to commandeer for yourself or your loved one! Condition: There are some darkened cracks inside the base and one inside the lid from hot water use. Some of them do faintly show on the outside. This should be expected for a teapot that is 200 years old. What should also be expected would be chips.

RARE Antique Tucker Porcelain Set, Hand Painted Landscapes #1174, Museum Quality
This is a wonderful and rare set of Tucker Porcelain. There is a large teapot and lid. A covered sugar bowl with an underplate or liner, a cream pitcher, a waste bowl, a serving plate and 8 cups and saucers. Five of the cups are tea cups and 3 are smaller demitasse or coffee cups. The saucers are all the same size. All of the pieces are decorated with hand painted landscapes. The landscapes go all the way around each piece including the saucers. There is a pale gray sky with trees, buildings, hills and gray mountains in the background. Most of the pieces are in excellent, undamaged condition. The condition issues that I have found are: 1. The knop or handle at the top of the lid of the teapot must have broken off years ago and was fixed with solder that is visible on the underside. Cracks are visible on the top; 2. A small chip on the inside ... morerim of the sugar bowl that is not visible with the lid in place and a crowfoot crack that is stable; 3. One of the saucers has a shallow 1/4" chip; 4. There is wear to the gilding. Especially on the handle to the teapot and on the edges of the bowl and saucers. Most of the pieces are marked"1174" in red on the base. In some cases. Part of this number have worn off. The teapot is 10& 1/2" from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout and about 6" tall with the lid on. The inside is clean. There is wear to the gilding. The knop on the lid has been repaired with solder. The covered sugar bowl is 6& 1/2" from handle to handle and about 4& 1/2" tall with the lid on. It has a small chip on the inside rim and a stable crowfoot crack. The liner or underplate is 7& 1/4" by 5& 3/4" with a little wear to the gold. The cream pitcher is 6& 1/4" long and 4& 1/4" to the top of the handle with wear to the gold on the handle. The waste bowl is 3& 1/8" tall and 6& 1/4" across the top with wear to the gold on the rim. This set has never been separated! It was a wedding present in 1911. It is earthenware bone china with black high glaze and gold gilt engraving of loops with flowers in the center around each piece. Teapot measures 5" high and 21" circumference. Sugar measures 2 1/4" high and 3 1/2" diameter/ Cream pitcher measures 2 1/4" high and 2" diameter. No glazing. Chips or cracks. Gold on rim where lid fits teapot is worn in a small 1 and 1/2" area(Note picture) Small scratch on teapot handle, but can't be felt with finger. Neither of these things take away from beauty of the set. For 110 years old it is in excellent condition.
