Up for sale is this antique porcelain painted pink rose chocolate/tea pot. It is marked Malmaison Bavaria R C with a crown& 82. It measures 9 1/2" x 6 1/2" and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are some tape marks on the lid where it must have been taped together at some point. They look like they will come out and I will leave that up to the buyer. It comes from a wealthy Conn estate. Thanks for looking!

Nymphenburg kept and still keeps introducing more decors on‘Rococo’ Just recently Sebastian Menschhorn designed‘Flowers of Life’ on it. Teapot on this auction is decorated with‘Antique Flowers’ One side carries purple bouquet and red flower is painted on another. There are green leafs on both sides. Handle is outlined with purple arabesques. Lid has engraved vine painted in green and few smaller scattered flowers are painted in yellow. Purple and red around it. Finial is in the shape of berry in red. Spout has amazing dragonhead form. Looks splendid. It is marked on the backside with standard Nymphenburg factory mark in green. Other marking is also‘A 1721’ written in gray on the backside(we actually are not sure that this is A) and incised Nymphenburg logo with number‘2’ to the left. Teapot measures about 5 ¼” in diameter. 9” from handle to spout and stands 5 ¾” tall covered. Condition is immaculate with no cracks or chips found. Colors are bright and vibrant. Antique Bavarian Or Nippon Style Small Hand Painted Porcelain Teapot
This is an antique Bavarian or Nippon small hand painted porcelain tea pot. The gold moriage work is reminiscent of Nippon work but the patina and glaze point to this piece being of Bavarian origin. There is no porcelain stamp on the bottom but there are some faint numbers embossed on the piece which look to be 507. The bottom is done in bisque and there are no chips or cracks of any kind. I suspect the piece is from around the late 1800s or early 1900s and is an Edwardian piece and probably part of a larger set which is why there is no individual stamp on the bottom. The teapot measures 5 inches high to the top of the knob on the lid and 4 inches wide at the widest point. This piece is absolutely charming both in size and finish and is an excellent piece for any collector! The bright green offset by gold is stunning and the hand painted ... moreflowers are beautiful! Antique Bavarian Teapot Coffeepot w/ cream&sugar Gilt Jeweled VERY Ornate 1800s
This looks as if it should be in a museum.It has a Bavarian or Eastern European look. Dealer advises that the style is definitely Bavarian. Fine Bone China- very delicate. And jeweled! No Maker's Mark! A dealer said the trim was 24K gold! Teapot or Coffee pot- with cream and sugar- very ornate! it is decorated with clear semi-precious looking stones that are not part of the china- you can see they were inset. Please look at all 12 pictures I posted. they are good photos so that you can really see the quality& every small flaw. I see one spot where it looks as if a stone may have fallen out- does not detract- you need to look closely to see it- It is white inside and the outside base is white. There is a ribbon of yellow paint along the top edges just below the rim. Then there are handpainted flowers all over in reds. Yellows, pinks, ... morepurple. Finally an elaborate gold center"ribbon" was painted on- it was painted to look like fine lace- gorgeous work The stones are pink. White, and a yellowish-orange. I can see that all handles including the loops on the lids were originally painted solid gold. The gold paint has worn off the lid loops and the pot handle and spout. See pictures carefully to understand what I mean. My grandmother bought this set during the depression in the'30's from an estate in Philadelphia. She thought they were made in Europe in the late 1800's. Teapot is 7-1/4" tall from base to top of lid. 6-1/2" from spout to handle at widest points. Diameter of base is 3-1/2" Cream pitcher is 4" tall from spout to base. 4" from edge of handle to opposite side, 2-1/2" in diameter at base. Sugar bowl is just under 5" tall from lid top to base. 5-1/2" from outside handle to outside handle, 3-1/4" at base. Have set shipping cost to allow for lots of packing of this delicate set. Set of 6 Antique Hand-Painted Bavarian Flower Design Tea Cups and Saucers Gilt
Set of 6 early century Bavarian hand-painted china individual tea cups and saucers. Beautiful flower designs with the pattern continuing from the tea cup onto the saucer. These are all stamped"Bavaria" as pictured and have beautiful gilt edging. Excellent condition with only the slightest wear of the gilt along the edges(pictured) with the exception of the red/orange"poppy" cup which has been broken and repaired(also pictured) A few cups of similar patterns are available online but I believe those are produced later in the century because the flower patterns are much more sparse. This is the only set I have seen together. These belonged to my grandmother who was born right after the end of the Civil War and passed away in 1968.

The design& craftsmanship of this set is very modern. But it is an antique! Having this amazing tea set grace your table should be enough. However. When you realize how much history lies behind this gracefully designed and painted porcelain it simply enhances its beauty. These are items created during WW II and have survived for over sixty years just for you. The teapot is marked"Bavaria 17560 54" and has its own unique stamp which differs from the cups. Saucers, sugar and creamer. Those pieces are marked as, P.T. Bavaria Tirschenreuth Germany 2" As I am not an expert in decoding makers marks I cannot verify the meaning of other cryptic marks on the bottoms of the sugar and creamer. The tea pot stands 5.25" tall. 3.0" diameter lip opening, 10 3/8" diameter spout tip to handle curve. holds approximately 4 ... morecups liquid. Weight of set is 4.5 lbs. It alone has gold trim accompanying the orange rings encircling the pot& highlighting the handle& lid knob. The remainder of the set has a less flamboyant version of fine rings in orange contrasting boldly against a the warmness of a cream colored porcelain. This would truly be an elegant presentation on anyone's table.
