Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. Old 1775 Chinese Export Antique Teapot Porcelain Hand Painted Presented is a lovely. Little Chinese export porcelain teapot from the late 18th century. This piece was made between 1760-1785. This piece is hand enameled with various brilliantly colored flowers. There is also a gilded and red painted band of design around the rim of the teapot and cover. Inside of the teapot is an old tag from the 1920s with a description and price for the teapot. The bottom of the tag reads: Formely in the Aberfoyle Collection: Sevenoaks. Kent. This tag incorrectly identifies the pot as being Lowestoft. This is a common mistake as Lowestoft copied Chinese Export pieces, oftentimes so precisely that many are fooled. This piece is the harder porcelain Chinese export, it was made in China ... morecertainly between 1760 and 1785. The overall condition of this piece is excellent considering its age. There is a slight hairline crack on the handle that does not go through completely as well as a small. Very old chip to the finial. The line in the handle was probably original to the manufacture. Otherwise, there are no splits, no breaks, no other cracks, no other chips, no repairs and no other problems of any kind. The teapot measures 7 5/8 inches from handle to tip of spout and is 5 3/8 inches tall. Good luck and bid with confidence. Antique R KNECHT Signed Hand Painted Porcelain Teapot Set/Tray/Cream& Sugar/Cup Up for sale is a beautiful little antique all hand painted tea porcelain single serving tea set signed by R. Knecht. The tray is a 10" square with rounded corners. The little teapot is 4.25" tall to the top of its lid knob and a little less than 3" in diameter. The cream and sugar are also small. The creamer is 2.5" tall and the open sugar bowl is a bit over 2" tall and it's 2" in diameter. The cup is normal size at 2.25" tall and 3.5" in diameter. All the pieces are gold trimmed and are a matching set-the teacup is the only piece not signed. The tray easily holds all the piece for a single serving with enough room for an additional snack or lunch plate. The set is in very nice condition with no chips, cracks or ... morebreaks. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be several decades old. Petite(four-cup, or two mug) hand ... morepainted“famille rose” style porcelain teapot so wonderfully characteristic of the very popular export Qing Dynasty porcelain china. The particular style was extremely popular both in England as well as the USA during the 1800’s. This is a wonderful example of this very famous produce. The glaze is entirely intact, a very colorful park setting quite characteristic of Ming and Qing Dynasty porcelain. The depiction consists of six different people(including what appears to be one child) seemingly involved in leisure activities in a setting which includes shrubs, a fence, etc. Again, a quite typical depiction of an idyllic park setting. The condition of the pot is very good. There is an old repair(we did not made the repair) to a rim chip at the top rim. You can see it in the photographs. Notwithstanding the repaired chip, the porcelain glaze is otherwise in very good condition, still brightly colored, not oxidized or crackled. There are of course a few minor scuffs, marks, dings, etc. as well as a few of the ordinary potting blemishes(warts, dimples, pimples and pits) again really not noticeable, and quite typical of hand-crafted porcelain of the late Ming/ea

Perfect condition- no chips. Scrapes, marks. I find it curious that one side of the teapot has an ornate Victorian Flower design- first photo- while the other side is essentially bare save for an outline of a flower- second flower. In any case, beautiful as seen. Base diameter of 3.2" height of about 5.5" to top of lid, about 7" from outside handle to tip of spout. I can't date or describe any better than photos. I am told its porcelain, but there again I'm not the expert. It weighs just over 14 oz.

Antique Bavarian Or Nippon Style Small Hand Painted Porcelain Teapot
This is an antique Bavarian or Nippon small hand painted porcelain tea pot. The gold moriage work is reminiscent of Nippon work but the patina and glaze point to this piece being of Bavarian origin. There is no porcelain stamp on the bottom but there are some faint numbers embossed on the piece which look to be 507. The bottom is done in bisque and there are no chips or cracks of any kind. I suspect the piece is from around the late 1800s or early 1900s and is an Edwardian piece and probably part of a larger set which is why there is no individual stamp on the bottom. The teapot measures 5 inches high to the top of the knob on the lid and 4 inches wide at the widest point. Beautiful Antique Teapot or Chocolate Pot in delicate colors Early 1900's maybe before that. It has been in my family forever! There is a strainer inside which must have been to strain tea leaves. The glaze and pastel colors are still intact. Some of the gold is worn off. There are no chips or cracks or repairs that can be seen. There are NO markings or stamp or numbers anywhere on the teapot so that country of origin or maker are unknown. The height is 6" tall. The width at the widest part is 6" from spout to handle. An English Porcelain Teapot. C. 1830. Unidentified. Pattern 406. Beautiful, lifelike flower boarders. Wonderful gilt work. Some bleeding along the top rim of the body and a bit on the base. Some minor loss of enamel in floral design. see photos) Normal use. No restoration. Shows very nicely. Approximately 11 inches from spout to handle. Approximately 6 inches high. Seller ships to the U.S. only and deliveries go out on Monday. Wednesday and Friday. Sydney M. Powers Teapot Collection: This pot comes from the SMP Teapot Collection. The emphasis of the collection spanned a time frame from 1740 to 1875. No two teapots were the same. All were of English origin. At one point there were over 500 teapots in the collection. As is common with Teapots of this period, many needed to be restored. Some received museum restoration(basic stabilizing) while ... moreothers received a more complex restoration, including painting, glazing and gilt work. Sydney was a certified, trained professional restorer. She worked on her collection for 38 years before donating them to the Marc-James Museum in 2003. French Porcelain Old Paris 19th Century Veilleuse Teapot Warmer Hand Painted
Up for sale is an absolutely incredible. Museum quality, early to mid-19th century, 4 piece tea pot or coffee pot set on a warmer. When assembled this measures approximately 11" tall! One section has a rim repair, that wasn't done well.it looks like just paint was applied. There is roughness on the spout of the pot, which is most likely a hard-to-see small, flat chip. A beautiful antique teapot with a rich. Dark brown glaze and hand-painted floral design throughout. Produced by Price Brothers at the Crown Works, Burslem, England, prior to 1910, as indicated by the maker's mark at the bottom(pictured) This teapot has been well-used and well-loved over the years. So there is wear and some chipping, especially on the spout, which as some chipping at the tip, and a small repair near the tip as well(pictured) The gold trim is quite worn, and you can see where much use has worn off the gold trim on the handle where your thumb would rest.
