Here we have a lovely English Porcelain Tea or Chocolate Pot. It was made by the Empire Porcelain Company of Stoke on Trent sometime between 1896 and 1912. The piece stands 10.5" tall with lid. Measures 6.5" from handle to spout, and has a 3" base diameter. It is all cobalt blue on cream in color, and features a seascape and shore scene with sail and row boats in the water and homes, churches and windmills along the shoreline. Overall condition is superb for its age, with no chips, cracks or other damage present, and only very minor crazing of the finish. The Empire crown and logo mark is stamped prominently on the bottom, and this particular variant dates the piece at no later than 1912. This is a darling tea or chocolate pot. We think it's a small chocolate pot because the spout is high(to keep sediment from chocolate that's on the bottom from being pour into the cup) It is pink and painted in the Dresden style, with courting lovers portraits and the typical decorative pattern you usually see on Dresden pieces. The portraits are transfers, which is common on Dresden pieces, but the trim is hand painted. The same portraits are on the front and back. There is a lot of shiny gold trim; both handles, the spout, the rims, etc. as shown in our photos. We are unfamiliar with this maker AND the design mark. We will tell you what we have researched. We believe the maker to be Merkelsgrun because they used the clover-leaf mark and the words Tscech-Slowe, although we could not find this exact mark. The words on the bottom"Gesetzlich ... moreGeschutzt" were used after 1899 and are German words translated"legally patented" The gold crown mark and gold word LOLA, we cannot find those marks. Up for your consideration is a lovely chocolate pot with matching creamer and one saucer with a lotus design. The pot measures 9" tall. It is 4 1/2" at the base and 6" spout to handle. It is marked and numbered as pictured. Although not marked with GH Germany, this pattern was produced by this manufacturer circa 1886- 1900's. It is in very good condition due to its age does have some wear of the gold trim. The interior lip of the lid does have a small crack(see picture) The creamer measures 4" base to spout and 4 1/2" spout to handle. It does have a defect crack as pictured. Again. Due to it age and use, some of the gold trim is worn. The matching saucer is 5" diameter. It is in fair condition with wear of the gold trim and a very small chip to the base lip which can be felt more than seen.

Tea or chocolate pot featuring two huge stylized white flowers(at first I thought they were parasols) green, orange and brown leaves, a band of geometric designs in gold at the top rim of the pot and bottom rim of the domed lid, plus additional gold scrollwork on the spout and gold trim on the handle. Very busy but it all comes together beautifully and the overall colors are calming rather than brash. The hexagonal-shaped pot is about 8½" wide from spout tip to handle edge and 9½" tall. This elegant and exquisite set. I have been informed is a tea pot with interior tea grate at base of the center placed spout. Can also be used for chocolate and coffee. The pot measures approximately 6" tall(7 1/2" with lid) The design is in the Dubarry Shape with embossed white porcelain, trimmed with gold. The set comes with 2 cups& saucers. The cups are approximately 2 1/2" tall(about the size of a demitasse cup) This is the traditional size for fine tea drinking. Of course this could be used for coffee, espresso, hot chocolate, or simply as an added addition to any collection. Research did not uncover the actual date of production but it was indicated to be between 1920-1940. The set is in excellent condition with zero damage. lovely tea or chocolate pot from the 19th century, unmarked. Unknown maker, feathered scalloped base, flow blue on white porcelain. Hand painted gilding& pink roses& green foliage. Graceful handle& lid, 7" tall to rim. Lid adds another 1-1/2" lid was broken& glued together in am amateur fashion- pot is free of cracks. Crazing, chips, stains or repairs- the photos with the handle on the left show a piece of cellophane tape at the top which I have since removed easily. Check out my!
