Antique 19thC Brown Transferware Child's Teapot Tea Set Click on the thumbnails to view more photos Fabulous antique 19th Century brown transferware child's tea set. The pattern is called Cottage and has flowers. Vines, and a cottage scene with a lake, a boat, and fishermen. The teapot and sugar bowl are marked Cottage. The teapot measures 4" high and 6.5" long from end of handle to end of spout. There is a chip under the neck rim and a knick on the inside rim. The sugar bowl measures about 3.5" high and 4.5" wide from end of handle to end of handle. It is marked Cottage and there are some nicks on the inside rim and some staining. The 3 cups and saucers some wear to the rims, but no chips or cracks. Each cup measurs 1.75" high and 2.75" across. The saucer is about 4.5" across. The saucer is darling ... morewith a lovely border around the edge and a cottage in the center. Rare Children's Blue Transferware Tea Cup& Saucer Set DANCING GOAT Edge Malkin& Co Staffordshire England c. 1860 This is a gorgeous antique transferware cup and saucer. Circa 1860, originally part of a complete miniature childrens tea set. The cup stands 1-3/4” tall on a raised pedestal base with a cinched waist and applied double loop handle. The saucer measures 5” in diameter, the saucer with a deep bowl shape. The set is transfer printed in a soft country blue finished with pearlware glaze. It is decorated in the scarce GOAT pattern(also known as"Goat Girl" depicting a girl dancing with her pet goat– some collectors say it looks like a dog. There is a manor house in the background with lush vegetation and a twisted loop border pattern. The pattern name is GOAT. The set is unmarked except for tiny tally marks on each ... morebase. The pattern is commonly associated with the maker Cork Edge Malkin and Co. A 19th century Staffordshire pottery manufactory. Rare Childs Transferware Cup& Saucer DANCING GOAT Cork Edge Malkin Staffordshire England c. 1860 This is a gorgeous antique transferware toy cup and saucer set. Circa 1850, originally part of a complete miniature children's tea set. The round cup stands 1 3/4" high on a pedestal base. The bowl shaped saucer measures 4 1/2" in diameter. The set is transfer printed in a rich country red finished with pearlware glaze. Decorated in the scarce GOAT pattern(also known as"Goat Girl" depicting a girl dancing with her pet goat- OR some say it is a pet dog. There is a manor house in the background with lush vegetation and a twisted loop border pattern. Although the set is unmarked. Antique (1880) Allerton of Staffordshire Transferware Child's Tea Set in 'Stag'
Up for auction is a sweet child's tea set in a red/white transferware'Stag' pattern. Have had it looked over by an antique dealer who says that he is 99.99% sure that it is by Allerton of Staffordshire and dates to'around' 1880. On the base of the small plate are remnants of a marking but the only clear word is the word'STAG' Set includes: 1) One teapot with lid. 4.5" x 6" 2) One sugar bowl with lid. No cracks or chips but some crazing. 4" x 5" 3) One creamer. No chips or cracks but crazing and'browning' 2.5" x 4" 4) One small plate(5.5" 14 cm. in diameter. No chips. Cracks or crazing One Creamer 3-1/4" tall by 2" in diameter(measuring the base) No chips or cracks- there is crazing One Sugar 3-1/2" tall without lid. 4-1/2" tall with lid by 2-3/4" in diameter(measuring the base) No chips or cracks- there is crazing(6) Tea Cups 2" tall by 2-1/2" in diameter No chips or cracks There is crazing and some staining This pattern is called"Little Mae and Pets" and has a little girl holding a cat. At her feet is another cat drinking out of a bowl, and on the other side ... moresits a dog. It is red transferware and each piece is stamped on the bottom. Charles Allerton started his company in Staffordshire England in 1859 but died in 1863. His sons carried on the tradition until they were bought out in 1912. However, the company that bought them operated under the name Allerton's LTD until 1942. Lustre decoration was a specialty of Charles Allerton& Sons. All of the handles on the pieces are completely in tact and the only defects. Other than mentioned above, are in the manufacturing of the pieces themselves. 3 pc Antique Pink Transferware Tea Cup,Saucer Dish~Child Hunter,Fisherman,Horse
3 piece of antique pink/ white transferware including two cups( 3 3/4" dia x 2 7/8" ht) and one saucer- dish 5 3/4" dia. The cups have two different scenes both have the boy with net and fisherman. and one has a blacksmith horse scene. and the second has a boy with game rabbits over his shoulder watching his father shoot at some game birds. The saucer shows a Dutch man holding a Alphorn and several goats. All three pieces are still in excellent condition. Some normal pop rock flaws in the basin of one cup.

Cute mid to late 1800s floral green transferware child's size teapot and lid
We are listing this very cute little mid to late 1800s child's size floral green transfer ware teapot with matching lid. It is only marked with a small printed green + or x on the bottom. So I don't know who made it(but it is probably either English or American) Including the lid, it is a little less than 5.75 inches tall and a little over 5.5 inches at its widest point. It has a nicely styled spout and handle, and an interestingly shaped finial on the lid. It is in very good condition for its age and potential use by a child. There are tiny rough spots around the inside rim, a small chip out of the inside of the lid, a small chip on the bottom edge of the lid, and a chip off the back of the lid finial(this is the only flaw seen on display- and it is only noticeable up close) This is a very cute collector or decorator piece.
