Superb & Unique White Ironstone Staffordshire Teapot Molded Flowers Split Handle
This auction is for a Fantastic Antique White Ironstone Teapot with a Unique Split Handle from Staffordshire England. The handle splits off as it meets the pot and is neatly molded in a flower/bud pattern. The body also has a molded or raised design of leaves and flowers. There is an impressed mark on the bottom of the pot. It is in a circle design. It is Very faint. I can only make out the words"Iron Stone" at the bottom of the mark(photo 10) I am not certain of the maker of the exact vintage. But by all indications- from the feel to the form to the style- it is from one of the potteries that operated in the Staffordshire region of England and it likely dates to the early to mid 1800s. It is in Very Good condition especially for that age. There are no chips or cracks or damage and the ironstone is white. There is a very minor manufacturing ... moresplit where the spout meets the body(last photo) It was done in the firing process and is not damage. There are several very small toning spots on the edge of the lid and where the lid meets the pot(photo 11) They do not detract from the overall appeal of this Great Find. The piece measures 8 3/4 inches tall and about 9 inches wide from the spout to the handle. Please check my other auctions. This auction is for an Outstanding and Rare Antique White Ironstone Teapot or Coffee Pot in the Wheat in the Meadow pattern made by Powell& Bishop of Hanley. England circa 1869. It is in Remarkable Condition. Especially for that age. There are no cracks or repairs of stains in the pot or the lid. The ironstone is white and the glaze clear and glossy throughout. There is a Very Tiny fleabite in the bottom of the pot that is very hard to see(last photo) and doesn't detract from the overall appeal of this Great Find. The pot has a neatly molded or embossed pattern of hanging Wheat Stalks and Prarie Flowers. The piece measures about 10 inches tall to the top of the lid finial and about 9 1/4 inches from the spout to the handle. Antique English White Ironstone Teapot Gothic Holland & Green 1854 Staffordshire
A fabulous antique English white ironstone teapot in the rare"Gothic" pattern. Made by Holland& Green around 1854. The teapot is a beautiful specimen and displays very well with some issues commensurate with age. The spout has been expertly reattached with only a very, very fine line visible that looks like a craze line. The lid appears just slightly too small and lacks a vent hole, which leads me to believe it is a sugar bowl lid from the same set. Fine glaze crazing throughout the teapot with some faint areas of discoloration, but overall it is clean and white. Three small flakes to the inner rim which are covered by the lid, and one fine short hairline on the rim by the handle. This is minor. SMALL ELEGANT WHITE IRONSTONE TEAPOT
This lovely teapot has no markings as to its manufacturer at all. I t stands 6-1/2" from the base to the top of the lid. Measures 8" from handle to spout and is about 4-1/2" wide at the middle. It also has the self locking lid- by that I mean a little nub that keeps the lid from lifting easily. Both the foot and top edge is hexagonal. This is a small pot, only holding about 20 ounces of water. I'm not sure it will help to date the piece. But there is only one seam and that is along the bottom. The other parts of the bottom have 4 tiny marks where it stood on kiln supports when being fired. There is a tiny little imperfection along the spout where the glaze either ran or was not covered when made.

Davenport white marbled Gothic style Ironstone Teapot
This is a very attractive Gothic type style Tea/Coffee pot. Rare to find white marbled ironstone. There is a hairline crack on the bottom and a crack inside of the spout only- not on the outside. A small amount of roughness can be felt on the very top part of it's lid but doesn't seem to show. The teapot itself looks to be in perfect condition to the eye and is very attractive. It is made my Davenport in England and has the word stamped on the bottom of the pot and in the lid of the top. Also a small anchor is stamped on it. A very nice piece for display. Teapot is 7" tall- from the spout to the end of the handle is 9.5" and the top opening measures 5 inches. The cover or top of the teapot is 3.5" high and 4.75" wide. A very attractive piece of yesteryear.

Pretty old J&G Meakin England Classic White Ironstone coffee/teapot& matching creamer The inside of both don't look like they were ever used The coffee pot measures just over 9" tall to top of lid& approx. 9-1/4" across from tip of spout to handle The creamer measures 4-1/2" tall The coffee pot does have crazing I tried to get pictures of it but it wouldn't show up in photos. This is an antique Chelsea sprig grandmother ware teapot in very nice condition. The spout almost looks like it was applied after it was made. As a separate piece, or perhaps it fell off or broke off perfectly where it was attached and glued back on. There are no chips or cracks where it meets the teapot, so perhaps it was made that way. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. Very clean and shiny. It is approx. 8 1/2in. tall to the top of the lid finial, and is not marked. GREAT item to add to your collection or existing set. Bridgwood & Son Porcelain Opaque Teapot White C.1890 Looks Like Ironstone
Sampson Bridgwood& Sons Ltd. Anchor Pottery, Sutherland Road, Longton,Stoke-on-Trent were earthenware manufacturers(also china up to 1887) They were established in 1805 and moved to the Anchor Pottey in 1853. The company closed in the 1990s. Although the company appears to have ceased producing china in the late 19th century they continued to use tradenames such as'semi-porcelain' porcelaine opaque' and'limoges' for their earthenwares. If the ware is translucent when help up to the light(i.e. you can see light through it) then it was probably made c.1890. Just as the'England' mark was being phased in and before china production ceased. If it does not transmit light then it is a type of earthenware and could be a little later than 1890. In the 20th century Bridgwood's replaced'England' with'Made ... morein England' Have had this about 35-40 years. Got it at a Barn Sale in Pennsylvania. Sugar Bowl Listed also. Antique 1890's Brockmann Pottery B. P. Co. White Teapot Ironstone China Ohio USA
This is a fabulous antique teapot from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Made by the Brockmann Pottery Co. of Cincinnati. Ohio. The bottom of this teapot is marked by the signature Brockmann Pottery stamp of the English lion. Crown, and unicorn, under which it says"B.P. CO. which they started using in 1887. It also says"Warranted Best Ironstone China" which they put on their white granite pieces. Approximate Measurements: 6" tall x 6" wide(spout to handle) x 4" deep Weight: 13.4 oz Condition: It is in great condition. Considering its age. It has no chips, cracks, or repairs, although it does show age crazing with some browning in the lines toward the bottom, which you may or may not think adds to its character and vintage appeal. Hard to Find 1900-1915 J F Furnivals White Ironstone China Tea Pot Teapot Coffee Description: Hard to Find 1900-1915 J. F. Furnivals White Ironstone China Tea Pot Teapot Coffee Offered is a very nice Antique White Ironstone Teapot. It is hallmarked on the bottom with the stamp for Furnivals Ironstone China. It dates to 1900- 1915. This is a beautiful embossed pattern Ironstone teapot. Lovely ribbed shape with embossed accents around the handle. Spout and on the top/lid. The lid has a figural piece on top that looks like a berry. It measures 10 inches high including the lid. It is 9 inches side to side measuring across the spout and the handle. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a tiny rub mark or extremely teeny chip on the edge of the berry and on the edge of the lid. Really very. Very small; please refer to photo# ... more14. There is also a very slight rub mark on the end of the spout; please refer to photo# 13. This is more like a slight rough spot and extremely minor but I am very careful in my descriptions and I wanted to be sure to point it out. No cracks and no chips(except already mentioned) The white is nice and bright with no discoloration. There is a speck of blue on the bottom edge of the pot; please refer to photo# 12; this appears to be in the glaze. At first I thought it was a paint speck but I am certain it is not.
