Antique/Vintage Bronze Porcelain Chocolate Pot and Creamer
We found this beautiful Chocolate Pot and Creamer. White porcelain inside with a gorgeous bronze and silver finish, at an estate sale in Chicago. Absolutely no chips or scrapes, in wonderful condition. We could not find any markings, however, so it's original provenance is unknown. Displays nicely, an excellent find.

A POT THATS HOT TO TROT! Harking back to gentler. More graceful days and manners of a society in a past historical era, the Victorians had a special object for almost every function at the dining table in their elaborate homes. Such was the porcelain fancy decorated Chocolate Pot for serving the treatful beverage that was not a teapot, not a coffeepot, it most surely was manufactured to be used for serving hot chocolate in your demitasse cups at afternoon break time and evening affairs. Our unsigned Chocolate Pot is most likely European manufacture Austrian type porcelain based upon its bulbous shape. Ornate lid and fancy flange handle, and delicate springtime blooms sprinkled all over consisting of jonquils and violets in pastel, all trimmed in shining gold gilt paint at the edges in thick swirls. Please look at the pictures to see construction ... moreand placement details of the decoration. It was purchased from a retired antique chinaware collector and was only ever used for display. Condition Report is no damage, no chips, no hairlines, no loss of paint, non smoking home, just a really nice and honest example of a Chocolate Pot for your cupboard. It stands 8.5" tall and is a nice size for display and would match any existing pastel porcelains you may already have. The decoration is the same on both sides. The bottom is unmarked. Antique Haviland Limoges Porcelain Chocolate Pot and Six Cups
Offering an Antique Haviland Limoges Porcelain Chocolate Pot and Six Matching Cups. The set is fashioned of pure white porcelain. With gold on the handles and edges and delicate floral designs in gold and light rose. The pot stands about 10 1/4" high to loop on top of lid. The lid has a small raised gold loop handle on top and is decorated with the delicate floral design. It is marked on the inside, in red, Haviland& Co Limoges" The body of the pot is unadorned porcelain, with a golden Art Deco design on the spot and floral design around the top edge. Heavy gold coats the arched handle. The pot is marked on the underside: Haviland(over) France" in green, and"Haviland& Co Pour T. M. James& Sons, Kansas City, Mo. These markings date the set from between 1893-1930. ANTIQUE TURN OF THE CENTURY EMPIRE PORCELAIN TEA OR CHOCOLATE POT STOKE ON TRENT
Here we have a lovely English Porcelain Tea or Chocolate Pot. It was made by the Empire Porcelain Company of Stoke on Trent sometime between 1896 and 1912. The piece stands 10.5" tall with lid. Measures 6.5" from handle to spout, and has a 3" base diameter. It is all cobalt blue on cream in color, and features a seascape and shore scene with sail and row boats in the water and homes, churches and windmills along the shoreline. Overall condition is superb for its age, with no chips, cracks or other damage present, and only very minor crazing of the finish. The Empire crown and logo mark is stamped prominently on the bottom, and this particular variant dates the piece at no later than 1912. Striking Antique Porcelain Flow Blue Chocolate Pot Flowers Outlined in Gold
This auction is for a Striking Antique Porcelain Flow Blue Chocolate Pot that is boldly decorated around the body with flowers outlined in Gold accents. The piece Displays Wonderfully and would add a burst of color to any china cabinet. The handles- the one on the body as well as the one on the lid- are neatly designed in a bamboo shape. The pot is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks in the body or the lid. There is age-appropriate loss of the gold trim, mostly to the outside of the spout and the handle. The inside of the spout has some minor toning and crazing. The piece measures 8 1/2 inches tall including the lid and is about 6 inches wide including the handle. I am not certain of the exact origin. Maker or age of the piece. But by the form and feel and style, I believe it dates to the mid to late ... more1800s and likely was made by one of the potteries in the Staffordshire or Burslem regions of England. Porcelain Chocolate Pot Antique Bavaria Flora Moschendorf PM 1895-1910 Portrait
Selling a chocolate pot made by A. G. Moschendorf. In the Flora pattern. The pot is bottom marked with the PM in a wreath with a crown at the top and Bavaria underneath all in green, and under all that in red is the pattern name Flora. The piece stands 9 1/2 inches tall to the top of the finial. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. It has gold highlights on the finial, around the rim, handle and spout, also around the mid section. The piece is is dcprated with a pair of maidens with garlands of flowers. The back ground is blue sky with clouds. The piece is also decorated with flowers, that look like azalea blossoms in pink and white. The piece dates from 1895 to 1910 based on the marks on the piece. Hello- This set is simply delightful. 17 pieces of hand painted German Porcelain! The pot stands approx. 10 1/2" high x 7" at the widest. It has one tiny chip on the inside rim as shown in picture 3, all paint is great. The sugar bowl stands approx. 5" x 6" with no flaws to either bowl or lid. The creamer stands approx. 3 1/2" tall x 4 3/4" wide, with no flaws. Each of the 6 cups stand approx. 3" x 3 1/4" wide, one has a tiny chip at the rim. Each of the 6 saucers are 5 1/2" around, with one having a hair line crack as shown. There are some minor brown spots, with is common for older porcelain. Antique H.C. Bavaria Hand Painted Porcelain Chocolate Pot Signed
Item up for auction This is a gorgeous hand painted and detailed H.C. Bavaria Chocolate Pot from the early 1900's. The base and upper portion of the pot are painted a light lavender. Lovely pink and white flowers top the thorned stems which circle to pot. The lid and pot handles are painted gold. The bottom of the pot is stamped and signed. This piece measures about 9" high by 7" from spout to handle. The pot needs a little cleaning but is in wonderful antique condition with no chips or cracks. Up for auction is a beautiful antique porcelain chocolate pot which may be of German origin. It’s 11 1/2" tall including the lid. 5 1/2" across from handle to spout and 4 1/4" across at the base.
