Slight underglaze darkening but glaze beautiful. gorgeous loop hangle with thumbrest. Lid immaculate. Hinge immaculate. Original gold lines on rails bordering collar almost completely cleaned off but an easy restoration. Magnificent the way it is. There seems to be the slightest rub of the lid on the backside shoulder edge and a nick. Perhaps but otherwise, near museum quality to me. The glaze on the top edge of the tankard looks poured on. Image 12 shows the depth of the glaze and crackling depth. Polychromic Hand colored transfer of a stylized water bird resembling a Great Blue Heron wading in flowered wetlands decorating each side of syrup body has great color and is in beautiful condition. Interesting thumb lever appears to be styled or formed as the back of a book and is serrated in a chevron on the thumb side for a sure grip while pouring. Stands 6 1/2" to the top edge of the slim tankard. And 8" to the finial on beautiful conical lid. Handsome slim tankard form with beautiful classic loop handle with great thumbrest. You will not find many of these around in this condition. Stamped"BENNETT'S/ JAN 23. 1873/ PATENT" I would be interested in the patented feature or innovation represented by that patent. The set includes 2 serving plates size 10 1/2" x 9" One has a hairline crack on the top. 1 creamer pitcher, 1 sugar bowl, 12 saucers, 2 have hairline cracks, 10 cups, 12 dessert plates. There is only minimal crazing. The colors are an off white with navy blue and gold trim. ANTIQUE ENGLISH VICTORIAN POTTERY TEAPOT ~ COBALT BLUE
We believe this to be an old English late Victorian pottery teapot. It has a silver plated lid and weighs a little over 2 ¼ lbs. It is about 6 ¾” in height and measures approximately 10” across from the tip on the teapot spout to the back of the handle. The pot has no manufacturer’s mark. B20” is painted on the bottom(see photos) The cobalt blue glaze is decorated with what appears to be some sort of copper luster depicting palm trees which connote some sort of foreign exotic location. The tea pot was used and exhibits normal use wear to the decoration and to the silver plated lid. Constant use by human hands have worn a pattern in the plated finish around the finial and again on one edge(see photos) The teapot is in good original condition despite its’ age. Other than a pin head sized glaze pock to the body and the silver plate ... morewear mentioned. We find little fault here. The piece has no chips or cracks. wonderful and large antique early 19th century dark blue STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE TEAPOT decorated with flowers all over the outside surface. The inside of the top, both the spout and the handle and the lid- the lid with a decorative flower shaped finial, acanthus leaf decoration on spout; ca 1820s teapot is unmarked as to maker but has an impressed IX or XI on bottom teapot measures approximately 11 1/2" from tip of spout to tip of handle; the body approximately 6" x 4 1/2" and approximately 7 1/2" high to top of finial on lid teapot is in nice condition but for a few issues- spout has abrasions and chips and a crack(see pictures) there is an old staple repair to the lower part of the body closer to the spout; there are a few abrasions to the scalloped edge around the body of the teapot(also see pictures) a few abrasions ... moreto the inside edge of the lid; in all a really nice example of an early 19th century dark blue staffordshire teapot in pretty good shape

Striking Antique Porcelain Flow Blue Chocolate Pot Flowers Outlined in Gold
This auction is for a Striking Antique Porcelain Flow Blue Chocolate Pot that is boldly decorated around the body with flowers outlined in Gold accents. The piece Displays Wonderfully and would add a burst of color to any china cabinet. The handles- the one on the body as well as the one on the lid- are neatly designed in a bamboo shape. The pot is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks in the body or the lid. There is age-appropriate loss of the gold trim, mostly to the outside of the spout and the handle. The inside of the spout has some minor toning and crazing. The piece measures 8 1/2 inches tall including the lid and is about 6 inches wide including the handle. I am not certain of the exact origin. Maker or age of the piece. But by the form and feel and style, I believe it dates to the mid to late ... more1800s and likely was made by one of the potteries in the Staffordshire or Burslem regions of England. Antique Hall's China Cobalt Blue Gold Gilt Rare Teapot
Antique Hall's China B 124( custom identification code) made between 1913 and late 1920's. This is a really beautiful almost all over gold gilt on cobalt blue teapot from a Quality company that created a process that resulted in no crazing or cracking during the process. There are no cracks. Crazing,or repairs to this antique or almost antique piece. This was a used item since you can see a little residue ring inside the bottom. There is damage to the inside of the rim only and does not take away from the value. It still supports the top with no problem. The only damage I can see and tryed to show in the pics is a about 3/8" missing piece of finish at the end of the spout. It does not feel like a chip more just a smooth piece of pottery with a little paint missing. Still very beautiful. The teapot is made of earthenware glazed with a pearlware glaze; you can see the blue tint where it pools in the rim. The interior has a filter to catch tea leaves. There is no maker's mark. Antique English teapot in with blue and white scalloped decoration. The lid has a finial in the shape of a seated woman. A chip(repaired) on the outer rim and small chips on the spout are the defects. Do not see any stamp or manufacturer's stamp on the bottom. Do not know very much about this item. Only that I bought it from an antiques dealer who was closing her store. She said it dated between 1810 and 1840.

It measures about 8 3/4" spout to handle and about 5" tall to top of handle. It is in excellent condition. There is a fine curved dark line just below the bottom edge of the spout(see photo) I don't see any corresponding line on the interior. There is a very short(less than 1/4" long) dark line to top edge adjacent to handle(see photo) There are no chips. There is some very minor glaze rubbing to edge of spout. There are some scattered small light brownish spots on finial. Outside top rim of body, spout edge. On the interior there is ... moresome relatively minor spottiness to inside rim as well as raised ridge on interior of body. There are some slightly darkened craze lines on the lid. Antique Flow Blue Teapot- Unique Design with Swan Finial on the Lid. Thomas Harley Pearl ware. This adorable teapot has cobalt spot pattern and there is some flowing of the blue on the bottom and on the inside. Condition is very good but there are a few tiny chips on the lid and on the top rim. There is also an area on the side near the bottom that looks like a crack but this seems to be more of a manufacturing defect and does not cause the teapot to leak. See last photo. Size is apx 10.5 inches spout to handle and height is 6.5 inches. There is no stamp or marking on this teapot.

DETAIL: A nicely preserved large sized traditional blue and white porcelain teapot with a design so wonderfully characteristic of late Ming/early Qing Dynasty artwork. The glaze is entirely intact. Vibrant cobalt blue, and the condition of the pot is exceptionally good. There are of course a few minor scuffs, marks, dings, etc. All of the preceding almost unnoticeable and very minor– we’re just playing critic here in the interest of full disclosure. The tea pot almost seems as if it was used primarily for decoration. The tea stains though unmistakable, are still nonetheless relatively light. In fact a good scrubbing and there’s no reason at all why you could not use this for your own ceremonial high tea. There are of course one spout and two handle loops- all entirely intact. The two handle loops would have served as attachment for two wicker handles. Of course after several centuries the(biodegradable) wicker handles are long gone. But the teapot remains entirely intact. Blue& white staffordshire. Romantic Transferware by Davenport in the"Montilla" pattern. This octagonally shaped teapot was made between 1820 and 1860. It features a scrolled and floral band around the rim. The central inner medallion and two scenes on each side feature an onion domed(almost Russian Orthodox) temple. With a woman on its steps at the right. There is a river in the center, which is very typical of this genre. The left bank features towering elm trees and a village with mountains in the background. A lower register of lines, stylized squares and scrolls graces the pedestaled bottom. The transfer is a crisp, clear, light blue on white ironstone. The teapot stands 10" inches tall. Antique ca1840 Sprig Soft Paste Lid Tea Pot Sugar Bowl Cover Octagon Blue Flower
This Sprig. Ca 1840, lid came from a Vermont auction. It has a delicate blue flower design on a vine. The lid measures 2 3/8" high to the top of the handle and 3 5/8" in diameter at the base. The interior rim measures 2 3/4" in diameter. It is in good condition. There is one chip on the bottom interior rim, see the last picture, no cracks.

Beautiful blue onion patterns, an ornate handle with blue trimmed leaf design on top, and comes with its lid which has a finial handle on top. It measures approximately 8 1/2" tall to the top of its finial on the lid, by 7 1/2" from handle to spout, or approximately 5 1/4" across the widest bulbous area. It is marked(will post photo ASAP) It is in good condition overall with the exception of a chip to the lower rim of its lid which is not seen when on the tea pot. This is a very old sugar bowl by Colonial Sterling Company. It has a white background with flow blue detail on its top. Handles and along the top rim along with gold detail in these areas. It measures 6-1/4 inch tall w. top on and 6 inches wide handle to handle. The bottom is stamped Colonial Sterling Patented 1918 has a fair amount of crazing throughout and has a chip on the inside rim and cannot be seen once the top is seated.
