This is an Antique Wheeler& Wilson Treadle Sewing Machine Bobbin Winder. This fits a W&W Model No. 9(W9) sewing machine and may fit other models. I have pictured the machine this part came from. The part has been oiled and spins easily. The wheel is discolored on the end. The paint has heavy wear. The retaining spring is strong. The bobbin stem measures just under 1/4" diameter. Singer 9W Wheeler & Wilson Rotary Treadle Coverted Electric Sewing Machine Works
Antique Singer 9W Wheeler& Wilson Rotary Treadle sewing macine. Serial number is W69396. Originally manufactured from 1909-1913. Converted to electric circa 1936 based on patent date shown on motor. Can be converted back to treadle easily. If desired. Old weird foot controller included. As shown in photos. Although it's missing the thread controller spring. It does run and sew. Stitching sample shown. All moving parts operate smoothly. Old cord is probably unsafe. Still has original Bakelite wall plug. We did plug it in to check it. But don't recommend it without rewiring. 2 sets of mounting holes drilled in rear of head for light and motor. Light was moved to the front- resulting in 2 more mounting holes in the front of the head. Light bulb is missing. So unsure if the light works or not. Surface wear to paint and decals. But ... moreis certainly structurally and mechanically sound. Little to no rust. Uses Singer 221 Featherweight bobbins. Will send along worn needle and good bobbin that were installed in machine when we got it. Modern 15x1 needles will NOT work in this machine. Uses 4- 9 N 1(127 x 1) needles which are no longer made. There are modern needles that can be substituted- Organ MY1014 rotated 90 degrees to the left. This machine is being sold as is. Where found, for parts or repair and rewiring. The first patent date is November 12th 1850 second patent date is Aug 12th 1851 and the third june15th 1852 and the last patent date is dec19th 1854 with a serial number of 769608(see photo) For condition. This is a Cast Iron Foot Pedal for an Antique Wheeler& Wilson Treadle Sewing Machine Base. I have pictured the base it comes from. It may fit other styles. But please check the measurements before buying. The paint is worn with a dull. Dirty finish. There are some white dots on both left corners that looks like paint drips. It comes with two mounting hubs. The hubs mount to a bar and the pivots are then installed. The pedal measures 11-3/4" at the pivot points. The pedal measures 10-7/8" x 11" Not including the part that connects to the pitman arm. The pin for the pitman arm measures 3/8" diameter. The hubs bolt onto a 1/2" bar with the pivots turned up. This is an Antique Ornate Wheeler& Wilson Treadle Sewing Machine Table Crest. It is from an extension leaf table that would have a bonnet and dates from the 1890's or maybe even earlier. This fits across the front of the table where there is normally a middle drawer and sits between both side drawers. Both corners have ornate copper plates. The finish is slightly dark with dusty and dry finish in between the dowels. The piece is otherwise in very good condition. It comes with all four original mounting screws. This auction is for the foot pedal from a wheeler sewing machine and patent date on it is"Dec 29 68" and that is 1868 BTW. This is a hard to find piece if you are restoring an original machine or you want to use it for something else. It has the original rod on it and it does still pivot on the rod.

Serviced Rare Antique Singer 9W Wheeler Wilson Treadle Sewing Machine Video WORX
This is a Rare Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Model 9W with Celtic Knot decals. In 1905 Singer bought the Wheeler& Wilson Sewing machine company. The 9W is a rebadged Wheeler& Wilson No. 9. This continued until 1913. I believe this is a 9W7 and it will fit any standard Singer treadle base. Serial number W45049. This machine dates between 1906 and 1913. The cabinet that held this machine was circa 1910 with square key locks. There is no cabinet in this auction. I only mentioned the cabinet for an estimated production date. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. Here is HD video ... moreof this actual machine working. PLEASE NOTE: The wood stand supporting the machine in the video are NOT INCLUDED and is NOT FOR SALE. It is for demonstration purposes only. It comes with 3 bobbins and a couple needles. This machine can work with featherweight 221 bobbins. Overall. This machine has a nice antique appearance. The decals are mostly complete with good color. The decals are slightly darker on the backside. There is wear from a make shift pin holder on the neck of the machine. The paint is also scratched in that area. The paint on the deck is crackled. All exposed metal pieces are in good condition. Some parts are darker like the thread tensioner and around the needle clamp. The wheel for the cord has been replaced from a W&W machine. The original had a small section missing. It worked but it may rough up your cord over time. I will include the original with the machine. It seems this piece was changed by Singer to fit Singer cabinets. It makes the belt sit about 1/8" more to the left. I tried this in a Singer treadle cabinet and had no problem, but you may experience the cord slightly rubbing on the metal spring plate of your cabinet. You can put the origi

We believe this was made 1890s based on research from the Needlebar site. The treadle works and we can turn the sewing machine by hand but we have not tried it with a belt. Condition: The condition is not very good. I think the wood looks better in pictures than it does in real life. I can take specific pictures for anyone interested. The patent date for this machine can be seen on the edge of the image of WG Wilson. On the machine. There is also a barely-legible patent date on the drive wheel. This machine may have been one of the first produced in the new Chicago location after moving from Cleveland, Ohio(if the information I have been able to locate is correct) The Wilson Sewing Machine Co. went out of business in the early 1880's. On Sept. 27. 1876, the Wilson Sewing Machine was judged BEST IN THE WORLD at the 1876 Centennial World's Fair in Philadelphia. PA. This item is sold as is. Please look the photos over carefully. No reserve auction. The only number I could find that looks like a serial number 278366 which according to research would date it at 1867 which contradicts the last patented date I can read. So I am definitely unsure of what year this is. I may have misread the serial number(it is hard to see) Machine comes as shown. It is very dirty and is showing age. Is a great candidate for restoration. Antique machine comes as shown. Last patent I could read on the machine reads Aug 27 1878. Would be good for parts or restoration if you wanted a project. The gold decals and gold& black painted legs are in great condition also. The machine needs a belt. Although the treadle pedal, wheel, and machine do move freely by hand.
