It comes with everything you see in the pictures- the instruction book is for the model 66 but we believe that the manual uses similar instructions for the Model 99. This machine is in very good used condition- the cord that you see operates the light but we could not find the cord with the foot or knee pedal. All together it weighs ... moreabout 35 pounds so shipping will be a little extra. This machine is in very good used condition with minor issues that you would expect- the estate could not find the foot or knee pedal so we could not test it- the cord that you see is for the light and we plugged it in and the light worked just fine with the switch. Comes with the key and it works just fine. Some of the minor issues: the wood top of the case is solid with just light wear- the gold decals are mostly in place on both sides with just a little wear- one of the wood stops is missing underneath on the inside of the top of the case- on the wood base. Some minor pealing of the veneer on two of the corners with a few tiny pieces missing- the bottom of the base is covered with a thin piece of solid wood and this is slightly wavy and has a few splits- as mentioned, there is no foot pedal- the machine is somewhat dusty and dirty with normal age wear and needs a good cleaning and polishing-

Vintage / Antique SINGER Sewing machine w/ foot pedal and case 1927?
Vintage SINGER Sewing machine. It has the serial number of AB662694. Looking at the serial number this one was made in 1927. I did plug it in and it does work somewhat. You can hear it running when you press the pedal. The only thing is it wont make the needle go up and down. Not sure if its an easy fix or not. I guess you can use it for parts or if you are familiar with this you can get it work. For as old as it is its in really good shape. Vtg 1927 Portable Singer Sewing Machine In Wood Case
This was my grandma's sewing machine and was well kept in her attic for many years. This is a vintage 1927 Singer portable with the orginal wooden case. There is a key that locks the case too. The wires do not look safe. Therefore I think the machine does not work. Regardless, the sewing machine is a rare find with multicolored scroll work covering much of the surface. The serial number indicated it was made in 1927. The machine in the case measures 17” long, 8” deep and 12” high and weighs over 35 pounds. The bobbin is still in place and works, but the machine has signs of wear with some rust spots and scratches. If you collect antiques, then you will love it.

The light works. This was originally off a treadle base. Everything is there except the electric motor because the original one had bad wires. Even the motor mounting bolts are there. Serial number is AB875551 dating this to 1927. Measurements: Bed plate = 14 5/8" + 6 15/16" Mounting holes = 9 5/8" across. Tall = 10 5/8" Weight = 25 pounds.

The 887809 indicates that it is Model 66 and started manufacturing in October 25. 1927 I know nothing about sewing machines except for the research I did on this machine on the internet. I found it while cleaning out my attic when I was moving. I think it would make a great antique display in someone home. This old Singer sewing machine was manufactured in 1927 according to the Singer website. Has a Franklin motor added to the back. Singer light attachment, Singer foot pedal, and carrying case. Light and motor work when plugged in. Nice embossed metal accents. Negatives: case is pretty worn, especially on the bottom, bobbin cover plate is missing, light cord is taped, and paint accents are worn. This very heavy item will be padded inside and outside of the case.

This Singer 99-31 model can be hand cranked forward and backward with its rear, chrome finished hand wheel but also features an original, working electric conversion motor with foot pedal and light. A serial plate is set in the machines bed and reads“AB892042” see images) indicating it is a 1927 model. The cast iron body has a black finish and is painted with a filigree vine design adorned with gold gilding(see images) The machine includes its original top pressure regulating screw, needle, side and throat plates, needle clamp, thread tension knob, ornate face plate, take up lever, spool pin, bobbin winder and hand wheel(see images) ... moreThe machine is mounted onto its cases base and has a level lock and two swing hinges to access the bottom of its bed(see images) The underside of the machines bed is stamped with Simanco 32688(18) see images) The sewing machine features an original Singer electric motor that was factory mounted onto the machine with a Leviton 75 watt light fixture, outlets, and a foot pedal with original cords(see images) The foot pedal controls the speed of the electric motor and the motor is unidirectional. When we tested this sewing machine with the electric motor, the motor turned on when plug in and rotated smoothly and quietly. The foot pedal controlled the motors speed, the motor stopped, and the speed increased when the foot pedal was depressed. When tested the hand wheel moved the needle easily forwards and backwards and was smooth and well balanced. The belt connecting the electric motor to the flywheel is stretched and worn and needs to be replaced before using the electric motor(see images) All of this sewing machine parts are securely fastened together and its gears and parts all moved freely but we recommend routine maintenance and cleaning before further use. 1927 Singer foot treadle and sewing machine operates like new. Wooden top and drawers have been painted. Machine and all cast iron treadle are original finish from factory. There is one leg that shows some corrosion and a missing roller.Pictures show the area. Other than area mentioned the original black and gold paint is in good condition.
