This Antique Sewing machine was produced in 1928 with Serial No. AC3238380. This unit is in working as the motor does operate and the needle does move when the wheel is turned. The bobbin winding wheel's rubber is deteriorating and the machine needs a belt. We replaced the power cord wire but the plug head is the original. We do not have the operating knee brace or a key for the case. The case is easily opened with a small flathead screwdriver. The power cord is included but should be replaced as it is dried out and has electrical tape on it. The carrying case has cosmetic issues including scuffs and scratches. Portable singer sewing machine model 99-13 with the brentwood case key and knee bar in excellent workink condition.howevere. The bobbin slide cover is missing but ive seen them on ebay. There is some slight scrathes on the top of the machine from thread wear and the case has some cosmetic wear but it is in overall good condition. Includes original light(good bulb) and carry case in good condition. Have not sewn with it. But powered it up and it has a very smooth hum and operates without binding. Machine graphics are average with Singer clearly visible(see photos) Case is missing the key and has some wear consistent with age but the handle is in great condition with no splits and latches appear to be in good operating condition. Antique 1929 Era Singer Portable Sewing Machine Model 99-13 Bentwood Case& Key. It comes with the original manual. We looked up the serial number AC679270 at the Singer site and it shows this machine was made during 1929 and the manual reflects that same date! Very clean fine solid complete machine is in wonderful condition. It has a knee bar control located in the top of the cover. The portable mahogany veneer bentwood case is complete with the key(1 end of the case has slight lifting. Antique Singer Sewing Machine Model 99K-13 This was my grandmother's sewing machine. So I don't know that much about it. From what I found online the Serial Number AC679693 dates it from 1929. The machine powers on, light works and needle goes up and down. Have not tested it sewing anything. Includes machine. Storage case with key, power cord, and knee controller. Machine and case are in very nice condition for age. Minor wear on both. But no major flaws. I am not a dealer or collector. Items are my own or family's. I try to describe as best as I can. 1928 Singer 99-13 Sewing Machine Heavy Duty AC783286. Box of attachments. Very good condition some light scratching on machine and some finish marks on case. Missing key to lock cabinet but a small screw driver will work. Has a leg operated switch. Runs well even with the old leather belt. Old oil can. Box of extra needles. Looks like it was used for a little while then put away for 80 years. Paint is actually a very dark green.

1928 Vintage Singer Sewing Machine w/ Bentwood Carrying Case AC428925 -99-13?
For offer is a vintage Singer sewing machine. Unit includes original carrying case. The model number listed on the unit is AC428925. I referenced the Singer and it appears the unit was issued in 1928. Further research indicates that this is a 99-13 Singer Sewing Machine. I cannot verify this specifically but there were limited units released in 1928. Please bear in mind this item is approximately 86 years old and is in vintage condition with wear and tear associated with its age. Unit will need cleaned and there is fading on some of the design. Please see pictures for conditioning. The motor is not attached so I was not able to test the unit.However. I was told by the party selling it that the unit was in working condition. I was able to test the light and verify that it is working. The wiring is patched in some areas with electrical tape ... morebut I've been told this is typical of sewing machines from this time period. The carrying case is in good condition with minor scratches and scrapes(please see pictures) Overall, a beautiful piece for vintage collectors! This would be a great restoration project! But will also work just fine for this 99-13 machine. You can get the original 99-13 manual online. SIZE: 17"L x 8"w x 12.5"h- case dimensions FEATURES: Clean and in nice bentwood case with original key. Key does lock/unlock on one end. CONDITION: Electrical works when plugged in and light switch turns on. When presser foot is pushed down. The band on the manual wheel spins but the needle does not move up and down. The wheel hand turns will turn but gets stuck sometimes. With some TLC and a tuneup, this machine could be great. Metal bobbin in bobbin hold case. Bentwood carry case is in nice condition, scratches from normal use ... moreon outside and inside. There is an inch crack on the front of the case, bottom of base has a crack along seam and thin bottom wood layer coming loose, but bottom is still in tact.
