This 1930c Frister& Rossmann"E" VS Hand Crank Sewing Machine was manufactured in Germany with the serial number#1647630. This machine was imported to the UK for distributed by Q. Quiltmann of Newgate Street. London. This machine uses a standard Singer needle, making it easy to aquire new needles. Unlike the Singer of the same period this machine has a forward and reverse. It was also considered a SInger 28 clone but with more features. You can use any singer accessories on this machine. This mahcine was refered to as the"NAKED LADY" because of the sphynx decal on the head. This sewing machine is in good condition. The porcelain hand crank turns smoothly with power and ease. This vintage sewing machine was manufactured in 1912. It is a Singer model 66 with a beautiful. Vibrant Egyptian Lotus decal set. This seems to be a fully functioning sewing machine. It turns smoothly& and the arm mechanism moves well. There is no stitching sample as we don't have needles. Needles are easy to find and inexpensive on eBay. There are many other accessories as well. The serial number is F577684. The machine comes with extra bobbins. And the attachments pictured. There is some rust on the attachments. The pictures are worth a 1000 words and show fully the condition of this machine. We've tried to show as many as we can. There is some corrosion on the accessories that doesn't show in the photos. Vintage Singer Sphinx Egyptian Revival Sewing Machine Model 27 Looks Great! Vintage Singer model 27 Sphinx sewing machine in great condition. Serial# on this machine is G9581940. Which dates its manufacture to 1911. There is a bit of wear to the gold decal on the front center edge and on the wing of the sphinx just below where the thread would be placed. In both cases, it is from use. However, the remainder of the design is in great condition and very strong. The bobbin to this machine is not present, but one can easily be obtained. This machine has not be electrified and would operate with a treadle. When moving the wheel, the needle does go up and down, but it could use a bit of lubrication. Franklin Sewing Machine Treadle Head, Egyptian decals
Franklin Sewing Machine. Treadle head. It's in need of some TLC so I'm listing it as a parts machine. Spins freely by hand and the timing seems correct. 1 slide plate is missing as is the bobbin but otherwise appears complete. Decals are actually quite nice with an Egyptian motif. If anything the dirt on the machine has preserved them, as shown where I swiped a little off in the last pic. Still, pricing it to move for someone to cannibalize. All cleaning and refurbishing or teardown will be left to the new owner of course. Other than that. The rest is pretty standard. Beautiful Repaired 1923 Singer Model 127 Sphinx Egyptian Memphis Sewing Machine
this listing is for a: Beautiful Repaired 1923 Singer Model 127 Sphinx/Egyptian/Memphis Sewing Machine that sews very well. it is using a.9 amp Delco motor. i repaired& fixed-up this beautiful 1923 electric(or hand crank compatible) sewing machine. repeating from above first) basically: i replaced the bobbin winder thread guide spring. Repaired a broken part of the"U" shaped area on the vertical connecting shaft(see my picture of it.it was repaired by using loctite cold weld bonding compound and krazy glue maximum bond.the part is working well now) replaced all the electrical wires/the motor and light wires were replaced just outside each part(cleaned the motor brushes and commutator, cleaned the foot controller contracts, soldered new wires to terminals inside the motor/light socket plug unit) added a new spool pin and felt ... morepad, all parts in the sewing head were removed and cleaned/oiled, the winder unit was completely taken apart and cleaned/oiled.i thoroughly cleaned the machine(and parts) polished chrome, oiled, adjusted, sew tested& touched up the paint on some worn, scratched and/or chipped paint areas.i also repainted some areas of the motor, light cover, foot controller, winder unit and such. overall this machine is in excellent condition for it's age, with generally only minor wear and scratches to it's decals. the serial# is G0557512. also pictured are my sew test for this machine(using the entire stitch range from no movement to ~ 3/16" and a packet of 5 screws(this machine had a wooden base, but was not shipped to me.so, there's a screw for the motor/light unit and 4 screws for the hinges on the back of the machine) look at my pictures for more detail& visual information. update: 4-19-2014: the spool pin is now in it's proper hole(i've worked on enough of these type of machines to know now) i reversed the motor pulley and adjusted the belt tension again. my pictures show the previous positions. i do not accept returns. i do my best to describe my items ac

1917 Singer sewing machine, Egyptian motif, hand-cranked--beautiful!
This is gorgeous machine is in good. Original condition. The Egyptian motif fits with the incorporation of such designs in the art nouveau and art deco periods, which were in transition at the time this lovely piece was made. The machine would perfect decorative item, free of the cords, motors, and bulky lights of early electric machines. This machine’s painted decorations are bright. Clean, and show wear only where fabric would have passed along the base and under the clasp holding on the base. The detachable cover has some damage and separating veneer on one side, but is not the decorative focus; the machine is. The hand-cranked machine still works and shows no rust. And measures 17" x 7" x 9 1/2" It also houses the original oil can which has a home on the inside of the cover. There were only 10,000 of these made. The electric cord has a home under the sewing machine, which is hinged to allow it to be moved backwards, opening up a cavern under the machine. I do believe that this was a crank-type machine that was updated to electric. If you look at the design you can actually tell that this took place. No major issues to talk about.
