Location: Naples, United States This is an Antique Willcox& Gibbs Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet Extension Leaf Table. This holds the"G" shaped Willcox& Gibbs machines ... morewith a round base that has a single screw for holding the machine in place. The table measures 41-3/4" x 16-1/8" when opened and 28-1/2" when folded down. There is a slot for the treadle cord. The bonnet hardware measures 12" apart at the rear and approx. 10" front to back. This was on an ornate treadle base with a patent date from the 1870's. I do not know exactly how old this table is. The wood has wear on top and is very dark in areas. The edges where the table folds has a lot of chipped and flaked veneer. There are gouges where the rear clips from the bonnet were repeatedly hitting the table. The hinges are good. There is supposed to be a support bar that swings out to hold up the table. That is missing. There are also marks underneath where a drawer was mounted on the right side. There are mounting holes for the frame. Each is a two-hole pair with holes 2-3/8" apart. The sets are 9-7/8" from front to back and 21-1/2" apart side to side. Antique Singer 9W Wheeler& Wilson Rotary Treadle sewing macine. Serial number is W69396. Originally manufactured from 1909-1913. Converted to electric circa 1936 based on patent date shown on motor. Can be converted back to treadle easily. If desired. Old weird foot controller included. As shown in photos. Although it's missing the thread controller spring. It does run and sew. Stitching sample shown. All moving parts operate smoothly. Old cord is probably unsafe. Still has original Bakelite wall plug. We did plug it in to check it. But don't recommend it without rewiring. 2 sets of mounting holes drilled in rear of head for light and motor. Light was moved to the front- resulting in 2 more mounting holes in the front of the head. Light bulb is missing. So unsure if the light works or not. Surface wear to paint and decals. But ... moreis certainly structurally and mechanically sound. Little to no rust. Uses Singer 221 Featherweight bobbins. Will send along worn needle and good bobbin that were installed in machine when we got it. Modern 15x1 needles will NOT work in this machine. Uses 4- 9 N 1(127 x 1) needles which are no longer made. Up for auction is for one antique sewing machine made by"The Free Westinghouse" company. Seems to be in good condition. Everything goes up and down and round and round. It has an electric motor on it that I don't know if it works or not. This machine seems like it could be used for electric or a treadle. There is a bobbin in it as you can see in the 7th picture. This auction is for the sewing machine. Cabinet and wrought iron treadle base. Serial Number is: AC803747 According to the Ismacs. net website, it is a Model 15. Built on September 24, 1929. I was told by another seller that it was built at the Singer Elizabethport Plant in New Jersey. From where did I get"1928" I think it is on the machine itself. But it is in storage, so I cannot check it. So. It is either 1928 or 1929. It has been converted to electric. But can still be used as a treadle sewing machine. It is of collector quality as the paint shows no wear in my opinion. The black and the colorful paint is all nicely in tact and is in close-to-new condition. All parts move freely. And there is only some rust(that I can see) on the underside especially the center shaft. Also. The hand wheel may have slight surface rust. I say ... morethis because my damp cloth had orange on it when I wiped off the hand wheel. Here are the parts needed to complete this beauty: 1. A bobbin case pointing at 1:00 position and bobbin. 2. Handsome vintage Singer treadle machine. With vintage electric add-on motor. In original oak and black iron cabinet. Machine has delicate figural decorative painting. Some of which remains, though the machine carries its history of having been used in some long-ago home for real and functional purpose. Dates back to the early 1900's, the style number AB862139 indicating it was produced after 1900. The rich oak cabinet is of fairly straightforward styling, compatible with craftsman style oak and more modern pieces. With the cabinet closed. The dimensions are 34" wide, 16" deep, and 28-1/2" high. For use as a treadle, you'll need to reassemble the flywheel, a portion of which was disconnected decades ago, but kept with the piece. 1920s Antique New Home Treadle Sewing Machine/Oak Cabinet off grid non electric
We have a beautiful antique New Home treadle sewing machine that was recently acquired from an estate sale. Daughter of estate said its from around 1922 and still works. Singer Vintage1921 Red Eye Electric in Treadle Cabinet
Very good condition for the age. Some scratches and wear here and there I use this machine almost daily and it sews very well. I purchased it about 6 months ago from a machine repair man that had refurbished her. I used the base with another machine I have and recently upgraded the treadle base for that machine so I put this machine in that base. The treadle functions great. If you wanted to treadle just disconnect the motor belt and put on a treadle belt. These machines are awesome for their simpleness to maintain. I also have some instruction sheets on threading and oiling the machine. It is fully functional with bobbin and the bobbin winder works great. If you have been wanting to try one of the older machines this one is ready to go.

Selling this vintage 1916 Singer sewing machine. Model# G4819724. Treadle operated- also has an optional electric motor attached. There is also a lamp attached by a band which looks somewhat newer. The machine still works. I remember sewing with it many many years ago, but I haven't tried lately. I did plug the motor in and it still works, turns the flywheel and everything seems to operate, the control pedal slows and speeds the motor fine, but honestly the wiring seems old and I would replace it with new wiring if I was to use it regularly. The treadle belt/band is old and has ripped. It needs repair or replacement if you want to operate it by treadle. It has a very nice detailed engraved plate on the front. Looks to be brass. It comes with plenty of extras- 17 sewing machine needles. TWO Antique Singers - 1921 Treadle & 1953 Electric - plus many extras!
First is a 1921 Singer Treadle Sewing machine- it works. Even has a belt, but the belt is a little too big: I'm not very familiar with these machines, and there may be a tension arm or something that needs adjusted; then again, the belt appears made of leather, so it's probably stretched. At any rate, there's some very nice detail work on the machine itself, but unfortunately some of it has been worn off over time- most notably the beginning of the word"Singer" on the side(see images for details on condition) The cabinet has lost a section of veneer off the top(again. See images) but is other wise pretty good looking- a nice tigerwood pattern. The second is a 1953 Singer Electric w/foot pedal. Also in cabinet- cabinet is done in'blond' wood, and also has some damage on the top, in this case what appears to be ... morewater stains(see image for details on condition of item) And there's a lot of extras with these two machines: First.
