All parts are moving smoothly and I managed to thread it and run some stitches. I've never sewn a stitch before. It seems to be working just fine. 108/nearing 109 year-old complete SINGER Sewing machine classic. In remarkably good condition. All parts. Drawers and working parts intact. Manufactured in Elizabeth. New Jersey in the early 1900's, this pedal-operated(comes complete with motor as well) seems to perform handily without a sound. To be sold AS IS. The Singer Crest and Official Serial number are( as shown) and listed in the Singer"B" series directory( Actual Serial# is B950773) = Model 27. Manufactured March 27. 1905. A complete instruction manual is available for this machine on their website. The only distraction or damaged area on the entire piece of furniture is in the form of an area of deteriorated dried-out. FOR SALE: antique Singer sewing machine treadle cast iron base frame. Dated to 1905(from serial number of machine that was mounted on it) which has been in our family for over 80 years. The base is in good condition. With some dust, minor oxidation on treadle and other normal wear and tear consistent with its age and use. There are no breaks or repairs. Pedal and wheel work, as do roller feet. Please see pictures for condition. This base is from my Grandmother's sewing machine that she used when she worked in a Chicago sweat shop in the 1920s-30s. She bought the machine from her employer when she left that job in the 1930s. Antique 1905 Singer 29-4 Cobbler's Leather Treadle Walking Foot Sewing Machine
This is a Rare Antique Singer 29-4 Cobbler's Leather Treadle Sewing Machine. Serial number B1122711 dates this machine to June 7. 1905. This is one of only 2,800 machines produced that year. This machine has been serviced and is 100% functional! All screws and parts turn and rotate with ease! This machine has been cleaned and properly oiled. It sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I tested it on a leather riding boot. It stitched through a thick section of the boot with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides. Here is video of this actual machine working. The end of the video shows a close up of it sewing so you can see it create the stitch and the walking foot in action. The body is solid. It comes with 1 bobbin. The bobbin case was disassembled and cleaned for smooth thread draw. The bobbin winder has a new rubber wheel ... moreand works. Overall. The machine has a soiled and worn appearance. The decals have heavy wear and all exposed metal is discolored. The paint also has chips and scratches throughout the machine. The head has a 360 degree swiveling foot so you can rotate any way you need to. The throat measures 12" from the body to needle. It also has a feed wire for inserting the thread down to the needle. This is an Antique Singer Treadle Only Sewing Machine Head. Model 15-30 with Sphinx decals. Serial number B1322522 dates this machine to September 5. 1905. This is a"treadle only" machine because it does not have a boss(hub) located below the balance wheel to allow for a motor or hand crank to be attached. The bobbin winder also rides the treadle cord and does not use a rubber wheel. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. It is now 100% functional! The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. The bobbin and throat plates are discolored from cleaned rust streaks. Some parts are darker like the the bobbin winder, needle bar and presser foot bar. It is an ORIGINAL, not a copy, and measures 6" by 4 1/4" It contains 32 pages of various models of machines, along with cabinet options.there are no prices in this booklet. I apologize for the quality of my photographs.between the flash and focus, I struggled getting good images of this example. Both covers are detached from the catalog, however are attached to each other with small pieces of scotch tape. Beautiful Singer 1904-1905 Sewing machine, with extras, unrestored
This sewing machine belonged to my step-grandmother. She rec’d it as a wedding gift in 1920. It was used J She worked on it until around 1980 when she went into a facility. Vtg 1905 Singer Sewing Machine - Electric- Needs Work? - Treadle - Foot Pedal
Antique Vintage 1905 Electric Singer Sewing Machine Serial Number: B903863 which I think means it is from 1905. It is electric and comes with the power cord and the foot pedal. This machine is sold"As Is" as it needs some work. I know nothing about sewing machines. Some of the graphics show some wear. When I plug it in and press the foot pedal. The motor spins but the belt seems to be too loose and it doesn't spin with the motor. The motor also smells bad and has a little smoke. The light does work. Please look at all the 8 pictures The box is in rough shape but still holds the machine fine. Please ask any questions!

Nice all original Singer model 27 Sphinx 1905 cast iron treadle sewing machine base. Appears to have been clearcoated at one time to stop rusting. Overall good condition except for tie rod on treadle is rusted thru and broken as shown in next to last photo.Dimensions are 28H X 22W X 19D. Very heavy piece around 60lbs packed and ready to ship. Nice 1905 Hand Crank Singer Sewing Machine From England With A "Coffin" Case
This auction is for a nice& older model Hand Crank Singer Sewing Machine complete with it's Mahogany"Coffin" style carring case from England. It works smoothly and all moving parts move freely. It has a serail number of J1561261 which dates it made in 1905. The case is in overall good condition and flip type laspe still works to secure the lid. The decals are good overall with some being slightly damaged or rubbed off. It still has it's bobbin& scuttle and still has it's"sidewinder bobbin" winder. These make wonderful item for display in your home or sewing room plus it will still work if you care to give it a try. The only defect I could find is there is some very minor pitting on the metal of the base and some of the decals are worn. I would say that 90 to 95% of the decals are still good to very ... moregood. It has a medium dark MahoganyPatina to the case. The Base is in very good condition without any signs of rot or worm damage. It has some blemishes to the finish(light or dark spots or marks) nicks, dings& scratches to the case as well to the base of the machine from normal use over the years, but for it's age and travels it's in overall good condition and ready to set out and use and enjoy. Model 27-4 for a Treadle Sewing Machine. The Serial number is B1522520 which dates it to 12-01-1905. And it was made at the Elizabeth, NJ, factory. It uses the shuttle type Bobbin. And has one in it. The Sphinx decals are in good condition for its age. They only show wear and slight stencil loss on the back side from where the lid rested on it in the down stored position. As you can see in the photos. The plated metal parts have tarnish, not rust, and they should buff out to look new if new owner so chooses. The foot raises and lowers and the shuttle moves back and forth freely. It feeds fabric through okay. I did not thread it and try to sew a stitch with it ... morebut it should sew okay after a good cleaning and oiling. However. I cannot guarantee that it will sew well. 1905 Singer Sewing Machine Iron Wood Cabinet Presser Feet Kit B1332466
Serial number is B1332466. Which according to Singer.com means the machine was made in 1905. Machine itself has a beautiful patina, the wood cabinets need some work, top has chipped wood. refer to pictures) Has three drawers on each side. A small box full of presser feet. I don't know for sure if it works but I believe that it does, the pedal does spin the larger wheel, and if spun manually the needle slowly goes up and down. Top that flips open to reveal sewing machine itself, which lifts up from the cabinet and and falls into place. Beautiful black wrought iron base with singer logo. The Industrial/Family heavy duty sewing machine Class 15 has been introduced in 1879 and holds the honor to be the longest(135 years! continuously manufacturing sewing machine in the history. This model also has a dubious distinction to be one of the most copied sewing machine. In 1970 I have seen myself the mass manufacturing of Class 15 PMZ at the former Singer Podolsk Mechanical Zavod(factory) in Russia. This plant has been built there by Singer SMC in 1902 with the intention to supply sewing machines to the entire Russian market and also The Balkan states. Turkey, Iran, Japan and China. Well. So little did they knew- after that infamous Russian revolution Singer basically has lost it's ... morehuge factory there and after the WWII there were a lot of copies of this truly wonderful machine has been made in Japan and later in China. And even now they are still being produced in India. The Treadle and hand crank versions! If that facts are not a testimony of this machine reliability.than nothing could be. After original introduction in 1879 of 15-1 as fiddle base with long beak shuttle hook. The sixteen years later in 1895 the new Improved machine with rectang ular body and slightly different mechanically class 15 almost as we know it is now has appeared. And It happened to be the most successful sewing machine design ever. In US and Scotland has been made 84 different official modifications of this marvel of engineering Class 15: from 15-1 to 15K191. About one half of them has been made as the industrial version. The only difference in between 15-30 Family and industrial version is the additional knee operated pressure foot mechanism. Basically. 1905 Antique Singer Sewing Machine Model 9W
For sale is a rare antique Singer sewing machine. This is a model 9W machine. The serial number dates it to 1879 or 1905. This particular model is rather difficult to find. As you can see from the pictures. The finish and condition is very good for its age. The decals are not perfect but overall in very good shape for a machine that is 125 years old. This particular machine was previously housed in a treadle cabinet. I have not sewn it. But it has been cleaned, oiled and lubricated and is mechanically sound and all mechanisms operate very smoothly. All of the parts are there and operational. I am selling the machine head only. It does not come in a cabinet.
