Up for auction today is a beautiful Singer Model ... more128 vibrating shuttle electric sewing machine with a very nice set of La Vincendora decals. This machine is serial number G7626039. Commissioned for manufacture around Christmas of 1919 at Elizabethport, New Jersey. It is equipped with a power cord and foot control cord and the original Singer electric motor(that still works! The foot control is original as well. Further research indicates that the vibrating shuttle in this unit makes this a very sought after unit due to the smooth operation it provides as compared to its predecessors. I am certainly no expert on these machines(this one was part of my grandmother’s estate) But I did plug the unit up to verify that it will run. Upon plugging it up and pressing the foot control. The machine functions. Not bad considering it hasn’t been used in probably over 50 years and is approaching its 100th birthday! I am sure that a thorough cleaning and oiling by a qualified professional will have this machine pleasing its new owner for many more decades too. NOTE from some research I’ve done on these models: This machine comes with the spoke handwheel making it very easy for conversion to hand crank operation. Should the new owner desire to convert it. 1919 model Singer Sewing table (ANTIQUE pedal machine)
This is a 1919 model antique Singer sewing table with a pedal sewing machine(with Persian medallion design) that folds down into the table. Serial# upon request for verification. It only has one of the cabinet head pin hinges needed to hold it up onto the tabletop. And it also would need a belt to connect it to the wheel/pedal for sewing(both things can be found cheap on ebay for about $5-$15) I never used it for sewing so I'm not exactly sure how it works, I just used it for decoration since it's a nice decorative antique table. It is all iron on the bottom so it's really nice and antique looking. Note that there is also a couple places on the wooden top(under the part that folds open) that has been chipped off, you can kind of see it in the picture with top opened up.

But beautiful, Singer Sewing Machine(Serial No. G7210047) manufactured in Elizabethport, N.J. on 8/5/19. It is frequently called the Singer"Parlor Cabinet" There are very few left and occasionally you will find one on eBay, but not very often. Some are in pretty bad shape. This one is not perfect, but I have tried to show everything in the pictures. These sewing machines are almost 100 years old, so you will naturally see some scratches and blemishes on them. This particular one does needs a bit of sanding and refinishing on the top; and if desired. The machine could be restored back to the treadle machine as it was. It seems the previous ... moreowner changed it over to electric and did a very good job. He did put an original Singer Sewing Co. motor on it and the last time I tried it, the machine ran fine. It has a tall row of 5 small drawers hidden by a narrow door ornately trimmed. In the top drawer, it has small tray for holding pins, needles, etc. Two top ornate doors under the machine itself open inward, and two bottom doors open outward so the person sewing can put their legs under the machine. These doors are carved so that they fit nicely together when they are closed. This alcove is where the treadle can be re-installed again, if desired. They can be purchased on eBay and other sites occasionally. The two doors in the back also open, possibly to give more air to the person sewing. On the right front, a door opens to put the leather belt on the wheel. The right side door also opens to give access for adjustment of the belt and wheel. This is a very unusual. Quite possibly just needs a new bulb. The first number or letter in the Serial number is hard to read could be a 6 or 0 or C or G 6626431. The only thing that makes sense is a G according to the singer website. that would make it a 1919 model The following description is about the condition of the outside of the case Case measures 17” long. 8” wide, 13” tall. Woven material around base has water stains on all 4 sides. Also has dirt& discoloration. Woven material has been damaged in 3 areas on 1 side. Other sides have very little damage. All corners have wear on the woven material. Woven material around the top has dirt. Stains and discoloration. ... more3 or 4 corners have wear. 2 of them are not too bad. The brown material placed over the wooden case has a few scratches. But not bad for age. 1 good size scratch is white. Another white scratch is smaller Brown material on handle has come off in an area measuring 1” x 0.5” Metal on handle is discolored Bottom of case has some wear. Mostly on corners, 1 corner is missing brown material around the outside boarder. THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBES THE CONDITION OF THE WEAR ON THE PAINT ON THE MACHINE WHEEL AND RIGHT SIDE PLUS MOTOR The place where the spool of thread goes has flowers painted around it. Only one flower really shows some wear. The steam, leaves and red and gold base of the flower is missing, plus part of a pedal. A little wear and some dirt on the large silver wheel. Black paint on the large wheel has a 9 spots. Where paint is missing on the spokes. Black paint missing on the rim in some spots. The flowers next to the wheel has some wear. More wear on the far side, away the person sewing. Paint wear on the metal“arm” attached under the wheel(it is holding the motor up) On the arm the original metal Singer plate says CAT NO RF-48 S.S. It appears that all parts are there with the exception of the light bulb- at least to the best of my knowledge.Belt operated with a Dayton AC-DC series motor model 2M033. Up for your purchase is a lovely treadle sewing machine made by Singer. It is in fabulous shape with all parts in good working order. You can see by the pics that the woodwork is in very nice shape and the sewing machine looks like it just came out of the box. The markings are clean and brightly colored. It is really a nice piece of history. This is a Model 66 with the number G6597810 on the plate. It was manufactured in 1919. So it is now 95 years old. I emailed Singer and this was their reply: Our records show that serial#G6597810 belongs to Singer model 66 manufactured on January 2. 1919 in Elizabeth. New Jersey. The 4 droors all work and the tip out droor on the front works as well. There is a key that locks all 5 droors. The sewing machine lifts out and is supported by part of the wooden top. The outside case shows wear on the corners with scuffs and scratches on the outside but the clasps and handle works well for carrying it. The back light works great as well as the motor. Comes with foot pedal(slight rust) and the speeds works great when the pedal is depressed and let up as seen in the video. The tension in the stitches are good top and bottom. The plug in has been repaired or modified as shown in the photo. There is black electrical tape over it. I would suggest the new owner get this looked at. I do not know why the tape is over the cord and will sell the machine as is in working condition without lifting the tape to find out. This was my grandmother's who always bought the best so I am thinking it is a top of the line Singer in it's day. She took very good care of her things and probably put the little red flannel on the arm to protect the finish the first day. Overall the condition seems to be very good and probably could even be actually used if someone wanted. Comes with all the little attachments( I'll try and add a photo) Has some little nicks and wear as to be expected of a machine 90years old. The wood has a nice finish but there are some wear spots. The metal also seems to be fine and I have not even cleaned Sold as is/where is so if you have questions or need more photos ask before bidding. This is a no reserve auction.

This is an antique 1919 Singer Red Eye sewing machine in the rare parlor cabinet style. The wood is quartersawn oak and still has its original finish with a beautiful grain. There are 5 drawers on one side of the cabinet. A door covering the treadle wheel, and two doors in the front covering the treadle base. Two doors at the back of the cabinet open up to give room for your feet when operating the machine. Included are some back clamp attachments. Thread, needles, and other small sewing items.
