Up for sale is a 1929 Singer Sewing machine. This has a serial# AC641668 which dated it to 1929. This machine could use a restoration and it would make an awesome display piece. Overall it is in decent physical condition. When you spin the wheel by hand to make the needle move up and down it binds up in both directions. This is an antique Singer Sewing Machine in its original cabinet. It does not have a model# on it. But the serial number corresponds to a Singer Model 101, manufactured on October 23, 1929 in Elizabeth NJ. Has side leg on& off function. Also has hardware intact that holds up one side of the two covers(see photo) The electricity is not functional because there is no cord length, so that would need replacing. The metal plate on top is missing as well. Other than that, it seems like when electrified will work properly. when the wheel is turned, the needle glides smoothly up and down. Antique Singer Sewing Machine 1929 With Wooden Base and Cover
For auction is one antique Singer sewing machine made in 1929; this machine is in good condition and does have all original parts so far as we can tell. This machine has a wooden base and matching cover with a handle. The condition of the entire package is mixed; the sewing machine appears to be in good working condition and the actual body of it is in good condition; the original gold writing is intact and legible. The wooden base and its details are where some of the damage and wear comes in- there's some rust that needs cleaned and some of the black on the base is scratched off. Additionally. The wooden cover has some long scratches on both the front and back and the right side of the handle is rusted in place; we're attempting to remove this obstruction before the item would be shipped though.

Serviced Antique 1929 Singer 206D 206G Zig Zag Treadle Sewing Machine See Video
This is a Rare Antique Singer Zig Zag Treadle Sewing Machine Head. Yes. A zig zag treadle machine that also does reverse stitch! Model 206D. I have seen references to Wittenberge. Germany machines with a G and D following the model number. This has a Singer decal and not a normal brass shield. In 1929 Germany was in a depression and I do not know if this had any influence on using decals instead of brass. Serial number G3353020 dates this machine to 1929. This machine is 100% functional! It has been properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews well. Please see the picture of the stitch. There was one time when sewing it made a little loop from the top thread. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The stitch is equal on both sides, except for ... morethat one loop. It can also reverse stitch. I also used the zig zag controls to make some patterns. After the video I made a tighter stich. See the picture below. Here is HD video of this actual machine working. PLEASE NOTE: The wood stand supporting the machine and the hand crank seen in the video are NOT INCLUDED and are NOT FOR SALE. They are for demonstration purposes only. There are modern handcranks available from other sellers on eBay, usually around $15. Overall. This machine has a used appearance with a lot of nicks on the paint all over. The paint has a little shine. The entire front edge is chipped. The body has a lot of scattered nicks. The paint is worn around the top spool pin. The decals are very good. All chrome pieces are in very good condition. It comes with 4 bobbins. The bobbin winder has a good rubber wheel and works. The needle clamp was missing the front thread loop, so I made a replacement. I have included a set of 306 attachments, which are from the same family of machines. Antique 1929 VTG Hand Crank SINGER Sewing Machine 99K Oak Wooden Case SCOTLAND
Beautiful old hand crank Singer sewing machine with original oak carrying case. The serial number is Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Y6940316. I got this information from the Singer website: Our records show that serial#Y6940316 belongs to Singer model 99K manufactured on March 26. 1929 in Clydebank, Scotland. Instruction manual. in PDF) can also be downloaded from the Singer website. This was an estate sale find. I am not a sewing or sewing machine expert. What I can tell you is that the machine appears to be in very, very good condition considering it's age. There is minimal paint wear. It is very clean and not dusty or grimy. The hand crank turns easily and the needle moves up and down as it should. It was not threaded and so I didn't try to sew anything. It comes with the pieces and parts shown in the picture(plus ... morethere is a bobbin in the compartment) There is NO KEY, however, they are readily available for less than $10 on ebay. I used a small flat screwdriver and it operates the latch with no problem. The case has wear. The wood is intact with no cracks or separation. But it has scratches and some scuffs of white paint. We looked up the serial number AC679270 at the Singer site and it shows this machine was made during 1929 and the manual reflects that same date! Very clean fine solid complete machine is in wonderful condition. It has a knee bar control located in the top of the cover. The portable mahogany veneer bentwood case is complete with the key(1 end of the case has slight lifting. Up for auction is a beautiful antique or vintage 1929 Singer Model BU7-E kneebar sewing machine with original case and foot pedal. This sewing machine is in excellent condition and runs very well. The foot pedal works fine and the motor seems to power the machine well. This is in great shape with VERY strong decals and nickel plating. The outside wood case is in very good shape with only cosmetic light scratches that could easily be refinished or improved. Original knee bar is there. The only issue I see is that there is no key for this unit. The lock is present but no key(note: I removed the lock to take to a locksmith so it is out in the pictures but is there and is now back on the case shell) The serial number on the unit is AC 894363 and the motor number is 4804679. I looked up the number and it shows as 1929. Here is a great example ... moreof a nice home sewing machine. It would make a great display piece or fire it up and get it back to work! Here is an awesome Singer electric portable sewing machine with carrying case. This dear lady was born on April 24. 1929 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This is a 3/4 size machine with the fancy red-eye ornamentation. For an 85-year old machine, it is in amazing condition. It comes with a correct Singer logo oil can and set of original attachments. The manual is from 1941, and although complete, it is a bit rough. The Singer Light works. It runs fine and sews a nice stitch(please see photo of sewn material that is folded to show both sides of the stitching) The belt is good and there is a new bobbin winder"tire" The power cord may be original. It is still nice and supple. The lockable wood case is in wonderful condition. All I did was clean, polish, and oil the machine. Everything stores inside the case. When I got it, the case was covered ... morewith paint drops. I carefully cleaned it and waxed it. The original finish is great and there are only a few minor bumps and bruises that can only be seen up close. This machine accepts any attachment for vertical shaft, low shank machines including attachments from decades later. The original finish is great and there are only a few minor bumps and bruises that can only be seen up close. This machine accepts any attachment for vertical shaft, low shank machines including attachments from decades later. 1929 Singer Model 15-30 Antique sewing machine in Bentwood Case Sphynx - Nice!
Hello! You are bidding on a beautiful 1929 Singer Model 15-30 electric sewing machine with bentwood case. Includes machine and case as well as power cord- no pedal though. According to previous owner. It runs and works but they had to use a pedal from a different machine to test it. However, since I was unable to test it myself, I am selling it as is Overall. It is in very good cosmetic shape. Most of the gold paint is intact except for a couple of small spots. The chrome is also in very good condition. See pics for a more accurate description of the cosmetic condition. Also, there is no key so the latches work but do not secure it the top of the case to the base. Antique 1929 Singer Sewing Machine Model 66 & Cabinet Model 203H
First of all. This machine was tested and works. We did not thread the needle with thread but it runs when turned on by the knee controller. It was my aunts forever. It is part of her estate now. I believe it is a model number 66. It has the knee controller as stated and is run by a singer sewing motor controller(simanco part#192890) The machine is in good shape for being 86 years old. But will probably need a tune up including a belt soon. The cabinet is the unique item for me. I have sold about a dozen machines and cabinets over the past few years. Yet I have never seen a top that is accordion cut like this. As you can see it is the same piece of wood because the grain completely matches up. There is a button on the side of the cabinet. So when you do push it, it pushes the top piece up to be able to fold the accordion piece down into the ... morecabinet. I have never seen this before. It takes alittle effort to close the top so it fits snuggly. As you can see inside the cabinet top is the number 203H stamped in. I am guessing this is the model number. But I am assuming. If you have any questions about any of these items, please tell me. Or if you want more pictures, I will send them. For shipping I will probably take the legs off the cabinet. This is a heavy item. So shipping is expensive. But if the shipping is less than quoted then I will refund that amount after the arrival of the unit.
