1920s Singer Model 20 Childs Mini Sewing Machine- All Original, Works Well
Offered here is a 1920s cast iron child's mini sewing machine. Model 20 by Singer. It is in working condition. With original parts. There is a needle installed. And there is no fabric guide. The mechanism runs smoothly. There is some minor paint loss of the black enamel here and there(see pics) The gold lettering and Singer logo are 99% + all there. The chrome and metal pieces look like they can be shined up with proper cleaning and the plate shows some tarnishing. The spool holder metal shaft is missing and will need to be replaced. It is in good shape though and will look great with some TLC. Measurements are 7" long x 7"high x 3 1/2" deep. A nice wooden platform in black with gold trim was made as a mount for display. The black paint is free from scratches and retains its original shine. There is some wear to the varnish where a clamp would hold the foot down. The lettering shows a little wear but not much and still looks fantastic. The bare metal pieces are free from surface oxidation and remain shiny. There is an original needle included as well. The felt foot is excellent with a few tiny holes here and there. But they can’t be seen while the machine is standing on the shelf. The wooden handle is excellent as well with very little wear to the black paint. Basically… this machine is top-notch! Don’t pass up this beautiful example of Singer craftsmanship! Singer 1920s Hand Crank Sewing Machine Vincendora Decals Coffin Lid
Singer Sewing Machine For your consideration I have a hand cranked sewing machine with Vincendora red. Green and gold decals. It comes with the coffin lid and key. There are several attachments that are pictured. Also included are 14 bobbins and 6 extra needles. The serial number is hard to read but it starts with a G dating the machine to the 1920s. The decals on this machine are very pretty and vibrant. See pictures. The hand crank is not original to this the machine but fits great. The bobbin shuttle is present and looks good. I can not get the needle to move up and down so it will need some work. The screws that hold the machine to the wood base are missing. The case has had a portion in the back cut out probably to electrify. I am not an expert on these machines but will do my best to answer your questions. Ultra Rare 1920s Rayon Factory 11w6 Singer Sewing Machine Hand Crank/Belt Driven
Up for bid is a Rare Singer 11w6 Sewing Machine. I purchased this machine a few years ago at an auction. The previous owner told me that this machine came out of the old Rayon Factory in Ashtabula. Ohio. The machine is marked IRC. This machine was either used by hand crank or by using overhead belts that ran throughout the factory. The seat has been upholstered. I believe there is some sort of knee operated switch that is missing. There are miscellaneous scratches and some extra screws that have been put into the cabinet. Overall the machine appears to be Original and all there. Machine operates smoothly and as it should when cranked by hand. But I have not tried sewing with it. Singer 101 Sewing Machine in Library Cabinet with some attachments& bobbins. PICKUP ONLY in Berkshire County. Western Massachusetts. Yes. This is a model 101. This was a short-lived model version so it's hard to find and highly collectible. It has an interesting oil wicking system with tubes and felt wicks, much like some of the the industrial models. Missing the slide plate(to the left of the needle plate) which has been replaced with a piece of stiff cardboard. Vintage circa 1920's. Includes a"Library Cabinet" Also a hard-to-find version of the old singer cabinets, but it's cosmetically in fair shape especially on the top when it's closed up. Also includes a box with some attachments and extra bobbins. The motor does run. I replaced the old wiring and hooked up a modern foot controller. It's a bit slow ... moreand needs some attention. But I think that it's worthy of further restoration efforts. I'm preparing to move out of state to a very small house, so I have to downsize.
