Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Model 66 Red Eye - 1917
Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cabinet with a 1917 model 66 head in it. In very nice shape for its age. All parts and wheels on the cast iron base move freely. The legs are marked Singer Manufacturing CO. The spring is intact on the belt shifter and comes with the metal pitman arm. The mounting holes are 11 1/8" center to center(front to back) and 22 3/8" center to center(length wise) and stands approximately 28 1/8" tall. Treadle will be dismantled for shipping. The head is a model 66 and the serial number on the machine is G5546378. Most of the decals are crisp and full of color and others show wear. There is little rust on metal parts. I turn the balance wheel and the needle goes up and down with little effort. The head could use an oiling. The lock on the center drawer and side drawers are functional and open with ... morethe origonal flat key. Much care will be taken during packaging. The entire item will be shipped in four boxes. All Original- Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine includes Original Case Model 66-1 with Red Eye decals. This has the rear clamping foot. This sewing machine works Great! This Antique Singer Sewing machine comes on its Original stand that supports the sewing machine and holds some sewing items. There are 2 small strips of black tape on the cords. I removed the black tape and the only reason it was placed there is to cover a wire that is showing. The cord and wires are all in tact and in working condition. There is no hand crank on the wheel. The light even works on this antique sewing machine. This same make and model sewing machine just sold on 11/19 for $192.50. Very cool original antique 1917 Singer Sewing Machine. By the Singer Manufacturing Co. High Speed Lock Stitch Model 96-10 with Maple Wood Tabletop. Serial number G5423477. From the industrial age. Could be cool for the steampunk collector. From a pdf of the manual I found online. Machine 96-10 makes the lock stitch and is designed for sewing medium and heavy weight fabrics at high speed. It has the gear driven rotary hook. The maple table top measures 48"x19" The Singer sewing machine measure about 20" wide by 7" deep. The table top come with the mounted work lamp and the string/thread spool feeder rod attachment you see in the pic on the right side. The 24 was a single thread rotary hook machine with a width of just 10" and a gap of 5" between the needle and the arm. Although the model 24 was primarily intended as an industrial machine. It was quite uniquely at times also marketed as a domestic machine, and even as a toy machine for children. The Singer 24 was renowned for being compact. Quiet and with light running qualities. These machines produced a decorative chain stitch, which when used with coarse thread, resembled braid. This made the machine popular for millinery, underwear, neck ties etc, and for applying decoration onto clothing and draperies. The model 24 machines were produced mainly at the Elizabeth. 1917 Singer sewing machine, Egyptian motif, hand-cranked--beautiful!
This is gorgeous machine is in good. Original condition. The Egyptian motif fits with the incorporation of such designs in the art nouveau and art deco periods, which were in transition at the time this lovely piece was made. The machine would perfect decorative item, free of the cords, motors, and bulky lights of early electric machines. This machine’s painted decorations are bright. Clean, and show wear only where fabric would have passed along the base and under the clasp holding on the base. The detachable cover has some damage and separating veneer on one side, but is not the decorative focus; the machine is. The hand-cranked machine still works and shows no rust. But is truly a decorative object. The machine comes with a manual dated 1918, a year after the machine was made based on its serial number: F8027140. The machine in with the ... morelid on measures. The lock is a little hard to lock and unlock. May be a little striped. No real damage or marks as far as I can see. A couple of areas on the cover show the natural wood grain and is raised a bit. Vintage 1917 Treadle Singer Sewing Machine 7 Drawers and Key
VINTAGE 1917 TREADLE SINGER SEWING MACHINE 7 DRAWER GREAT CONDITION! This Singer sewing machine belonged to my girlfriend's grandma. We have no real use for it or place to store it. Originally this model was treadle powered. But sometime in it's past a small motor was mounted onto it. It has not been tested because the wire is deteriorated. If removed. And a belt attached to this unit, it would work with no issues as a normal treadle powered machine. The actual machine appears to be in good shape. Normal ware and other age spots are visible. The treadle portion of the desk appears to work smoothly and be in great shape. The desk itself has 3 draws on each side. 6 total. They feature an ornate styled design. It has 1 central draw with dividers for storage. All of the draws have a locking mechanism. All have been tested and work. There ... moreis also a key that comes with it. I'm unsure if its original or not. But works perfectly. The condition of the structure and the wood is quite well. In some of the pictures you can see the outer layer of wood peeling or warping away. But it is structurally secure and in great shape in my opinion. With only 12 pictures i did my best to capture all angles. This item is only available for local pickup. Antique Original 1917 Singer Red Eye Sewing Machine 6 Drawers
Very old red eye sewing machine up for bid. I researched the serial number and I believe it was made in 1917. It has 3 drawers on each side and one in the middle. All moving parts look functional and does not appear to be missing anything. Some of the wood does have some nicks and scratches. Frame does have some rust on the bottom. Some of the decals are worn. The varnish looks pretty solid and is not peeling. Overall it's a solid sewing machine that's all there that just needs some TLC. Happy bidding! Local pickup only.

This is an original 1917 Singer 66"Red Eye" treadle sewing machine with oak cabinet. Serial#G5244724. You can verify the vintage using this serial number on the. I bought this machine from an estate sale and had the cabinet refinished. But it could still use some cleaning of the machine and wrought iron treadle. Plus a tune-up to get it in working order. The booklet appears to be very old but not original since it lists 1941 as the last copyright year on the inside front cover. Even for the non-sewer. It makes a lovely table when closed; it would look especially gorgeous in a Victorian-era room or home. If you are willing to make your own shipping arrangements. I'll be happy to deliver it to a packaging center in San Jose(CA) area where I live; otherwise, you'll need to pick it up.

Antique Singer Sewing Machine Model 127 circa 1917 This sewing machine was originally mounted on a treadle stand. It has serial number G5426518. Which according to the ISMACS and Singer databases is a model 127 from 1917. It is in working condition as I have put it through a cycle by turning the balance wheel by hand. It does need lubrication to perform efficiently. A thread shuttle and bobbin are included. Obviously it has been removed from the treadle stand. The seller has other parts from this machine for sale listed separately.
