Antique 1904 Singer Hand Crank Sewing Machine w/ Case and Accessories Model 128
Fantastic antique hand crank sewing machine. Made by Singer Sewing Co. I looked up the serial number on Singer's website and this machine dates to 1904! WOW! It comes with the wood case and a few accessories(see 11th picture) and the original instruction manual! see 12th pic) The accessories& manual were inside the side storage compartment on the machine. So I assume they go with the machine. I will include them with the purchase and the buyer can do with them as they like. Everything seems to be in working order. It has a"bullet" type bobbin. The base measures 12" x 6.5" The latch on the case may need to be repaired. When latched, the lid sometimes comes off when you hold it by both handles. Please remember that this machine is 109 years old, so there is some wear to the paint, decals and wood box. Nothing that ... moreaffects the performance. The chrome on the wheel and other parts of the machine has wear to it(see pictures) This pieces is heavy- weighing 33 pounds. Please review all 12 pictures closely. Check out my! An antique Singer Toy Sewing Machine. Singer Model J-1 110 Volts 60 cycles 48 watts" I plugged it in and the motor came on. It is missing the belt that would actually run it. Hand turning the wheel was easy. But a little tight and uneven, like it needs some oiling. Please look at pictures and ask any specific questions. I am not that familiar with sewing and other than the belt, I dont know if anything else might be missing. It looks like a great little machine with a little TLC. Antique Singer chain stitch machine. 24 class, actually 24-39. Built 1904. Serial# B1206054. Purchased around 1910 for commercial use. Used industrially in the family NY garment center factory from 1919 until 1961. In the factory it was on a treadle base. And later electrified by a motor on the base. Has belt wheels. Later a hand crank was added for a specific job. It was further altered around 1919 for use in the shoe industry-part of the original base was cut away to create today's shape. the crank/wheel turns freely, needle bar moves well. Presser foot bar works, but I do not guarantee the the machine is in perfect working condition. The entire base plate was changed in 1919/1920 to the current larger work surface. From 1961 until a few months ago it was stored in a basement. It does work- however, my living room carpeting gets in the way of the pedal's motion) The machine is in its cabinet. Drawers are missing and the right side slot for the drawer is a bit loose, but you should be able to repair this and find replacement drawers(I have two drawers for sale in separate auctions) if you are good with furniture and woodworking. Serviced Antique 1904 Singer 27-1 Sphinx Treadle Sewing Machine WORKS C-Video
This is an Antique Singer Treadle Only Sewing Machine Head. Model 27 with Sphinx decals. Serial number B204221 dates this machine to March 18. 1904. This machine just celebrated it's 110th Brithday! I offer 10 years experience servicing sewing machines! I also list all"detailed" positives and negatives. So there are no surprises when your machine arrives. I even provide video proof that this machine works! This is a"treadle only" machine. It does NOT have a hub(boss) located below the balance to mount a hand crank or motor. This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. It is now 100% functional! The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The stitch is equal ... moreon both sides. Here is HD video of this actual machine working. PLEASE NOTE: The wood stand supporting the machine in the video is NOT INCLUDED and is NOT FOR SALE. It for demonstration purposes only! Overall. The paint has a semi-shiny appearance. The decals are mostly in tact with light wear along the front of the deck and on the neck from being lifted out of the cabinet. There are common scratches and nicks from use. The decals are a little darker on the backside. The paint on the deck is slightly crackled with small nicks along the front edge. There are a couple touched up nicks around the bobbin covers and needle plate. Most chrome pieces are in good condition and look aged. Some parts like the bobbin plates have scratches and blemishes. The needle bar and foot bar are dark. The nose and round plates are in good condition with mild discoloration. It comes with 1 bobbin. The bobbin winder has been oiled, tested and works. There is no manual. But I will send a free pdf copy of a Singer VS2 manual to the email address linked in your PayPal account after payment is received. This machine needs to be treadle cabinet mounted only. It cannot be fitted with a motor or hand crank.

Singer Sewing Machine 1904 You are buying a Vintage Cast Iron Sewing Machine Base. This is the real deal! This is heavy. Please look at all the pictures I have posted. I bought this at a estate sale. It was in the barn-high and dry! Its true when they say"things were built better and made to last in the old days" This would be a great project to make a table out of. Everything you see in the pictures is what you get. I took it all apart for easy storing. This was built to last. Both legs alone weigh close to 22lbs. There are no major dents. There is some paint loss. Its dusty and dingy here and there. It really dusty.There is some rust on one of the legs. This is a older base. The information I found, it was made in 1904. They don't make these any more. Its really a cool piece of history. As you can see in the pictures its really ... morelooks nice. It shows some use, but I think it gives it character. I seen many different version of what people do with them. I ve seen them with a oak-walnut-glass tops. The visionary is endless. This would be a great spring project. Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Here is a fabulous find- a vintage Singer Treadle Sewing Machine in Parlor Cabinet. This machine has a serial number of J578575- according to the Singer website. This machine was made in 1904. It is housed in the original wooden cabinet. The cabinet is a nice, warm dark brown wood, I believe it is walnut. It is a Parlor Style Cabinet- the machine glides straight down into the cabinet when you push the button, instead of folding down like other models. The cabinet has a line of drawers on one side- the other side has what looks like is an identical line of drawers, but this is really a door. When all closed up, this has the look of a wooden table or cabinet- none of the sewing machine is visible. The Machine itself is in very good shape- it is a Sphinx model. There is an old belt included and when you pump the ... moretreadle, the wheel spins freely and the needle goes up and down smoothly. The cabinet, when closed, measures 34 x 17 inches and is 29 inches tall. The cabinet has typical signs of wear and tear- this is 110 years old- but is in overall good condition. You can see in the photos that most of the drawer and door hardware pulls were removed at some point. The lower doors will need new hinges. Some wear, rings, and scratches on the finish, but the wood is in overall good shape. There is also a group of accessories included with this machine- some instruction booklets, needles, bobbins, etc. see photo for all that is included. This will make a wonderful restoration project! Up for sale is a Singer Sewing Machine. From 1904(confirmed on Singer's website using the serial number) It is believed to be a Model 66, and has a CAT. BZ 10-8. The machine works with no issues. The original pedal is in great shape. However, the light doesn't work(may just need a bulb) Cosmetically, the machine shows some wear, simply due to the fact it is over a century old. Some of the design is worn off on the machine itself, and the original wooden case, while free of cracks, has some relatively minor scratching, mainly around the brand name. Restored Serviced Portable 1904 Singer Lotus Model 66 Sewing Machine Sews Well
this listing is for a: Restored Serviced& Portable 1904 Singer Lotus Model 66-1 Sewing Machine(it's a model 66-1 because the feed dog screw is on back of presser foot shaft.supposedly. It's the only machine Singer made like this) it sews very well(see my sew test example) it's powered by a Singer BZ 6-8 0.53 amp made in the U.S.A. motor. the motor is in great condition and runs strongly& smoothly(i opened it up and cleaned the commutator& the brushes) there are 3 metal bobbins and a second presser foot. i serviced. Cleaned-up& fixed-up this sewing machine and it's carrying case. the machine still has visible wear to it's original decals. the upper part of the sewing machine is still not completely smooth even after i touched-up some of the decals and repainted the black paint areas and applied a polyurethane ... morecoating over both.there still is some wear, scuff marks, dirt& staining on the exterior of the case. i applied a coating of polyurethane sealant by hand to the exterior of the case. the case is solid, in nice condition and is very clean inside& under the sewing machine. basically: i cleaned and adjusted the foot controller(cleaned all the contacts& replaced it's wires) cleaned inside the motor, disassembled, cleaned& adjusted the bobbin winder(and wound a bobbin) took out and cleaned all the parts in the sewing head area, took apart& cleaned the tension unit, created parts out of a hard rubber mat so the motor and it's mounting frame wound fit snugly to the machine.i also thoroughly cleaned, oiled& adjusted the machine, polished chrome, cleaned other metal areas, touched up some black paint chip areas along the edge and underneath the machine, cleaned up the case, added 3 new rubber feet/pads to the bottom of the case and sew tested this machine. overall, this is a nice looking machine that sews very well in a nice and solid carrying case. it's a nice antique. look at& study my pictures for more detail& visual information. for tho

Singer Sewing Machine Sphinx Model 27K, SN: B626252 Vintage 1904
Very Collectable The Singer Company launched its first Vibrating Shuttle(VS-1 long bobbin) machine in 1885. These were available as hand cranked or treadle powered machines. However. Due to their sheer weight, most were sold as treadle versions mounted in tables or cabinets. The early treadles used just one foot making a heel-toe rocking motion, but all later treadles, including those offered with Singer 27K machines, used both feet making a left-heel-right-toe(or vice versa) motion. One complete down motion produced 4 stitches. Treadle tables/cabinets were quite large making them very much a piece of furniture. And not something to be packed away after use. The Singer VS1 was not much more than a development machine which was quickly replaced by the upgraded VS2 which had a‘fiddle’ shaped base. This in turn was gradually phased out in 1891 ... moreand re-branded as the 27K with a rectangular base. By 1912 the original design was‘modernised’ to incorporate a new shuttle ejector mechanism and at the same time the bobbin winder was relocated to a higher mounting point. So that its rubber wheel would rub on the drive belt and not the drive rim. The Singer VS3(later re-branded 28 and then 128) was introduced in 1886 as a 3/4 size version of the VS2. Paralling its big brother. The VS3 underwent several minor modifications, during its lifetime before finally becoming the 128K. The smaller VS3, 28, 128’s were mainly manufactured as portable hand crank machines, but they were harder to use at high speed. Each time the crank handle turned it produced three rotations of the balance wheel making three stitches, but it did cause arm ache over time!

Hi.I have a Singer sewing machine that from what I can see. Is ONLY missing the spool pin on top.the bobbin is included. From the serial# on singers site. It is made around 1904, and has the cat images on it. I made a wooden box to hold this machine. It has been cleaned and oiled, but could use more cleaning.I have a bobbin cover that I can include but it more chrome than the original. I have weighted this item. Beautiful Restored 1904 Singer 27 Pheasant Treadle Sewing Machine Sews Very Well
this listing is for a: Beautiful Restored 1904 Singer model 27 Pheasant decals Treadle Sewing Machine. That Sews Very Well(see my sew test) operates very smoothly. the entire machine has been restored to a close to original looking& working order machine. i replaced the slide plate that's closest to the sewer/the one that is opened to remove or put in the shuttle. this plate fits very snugly in place.which is better than too loose(which is the reason so many of these plates are missing.they fall off the machine) this machine comes with one original bobbin. i wound this bobbin on this machine's bobbin winder(it works very well) and used it for my sew test. i added a new red spool pin felt to this machine. i removed all the parts on this machine(except the upper shaft and some parts that move from it) and cleaned them& polished ... morethem if i was able to do so. the bobbin winder. All parts in the sewing head and all the parts underneath the machine were removed, cleaned and adjusted. i touched-up some of the decals on this machine, repainted the black paint areas(top, bottom, hand wheel. all) and then coated the underside twice and the upper side 3 times with gloss polyurethane. i think this is a rather uncommon Singer sewing machine for at least 3 reasons: i've read that the pheasant decals are less common than other decals.this machine has a copper Singer badge.and it has the grape leaves& grapes theme on it's sewing head face plate& on it's rear cover plate. the 2 set screws that hold hinges on this machine are in place and cleaned-up. this machine has an all metal drive-line that in a sense makes it a semi-industrial machine when compared to modern home sewing machines with plastic gears. Singer designed and made this machine for home/family use. this machine can sew leather. Denim, canvas and other such similar fabrics. it would also make an excellent addition to any sewing machine collection. it uses modern one side flat needles. look at& study my pictures for more detail&am
