This is an antique Singer treadle sewing machine. It turns ok but could use some oiling. It does show signs of wear consistant with a 100 year old hard working machine. Some of the decals have faded or are missing a some paint. Some scuffs/scratches here and there and there is some pitting on the black paint throughout but it is still a striking piece with eye-catching decals on the black body and the ornate metal including the ornate face plate. There is some surface rust and patina so it could use a good cleaning and will surely look even more beautiful after. Credit Cards are accepted through PayPal. It includes the cabinet that has an ornate Singer marked cast base with rolling wheels. 4 pull drawers and folding top cover. The veneer on the underside of the folding top on the cabinet will need some attantion and is peeling and has chips in it. The ornamental castings on the treadle are attractive and the treadle does rock back and forth. Found in the drawer is a tin parts tin and lid that has accessories inside, Singer No. 66 marked manual and other documents, as well as even more unsorted accessories. I plugged it in and the light worked, it has a knee lever and I pushed that and the machine did nothing Sooo I'am listing it as non-working, would be a nice machine to fix as the paint is in very nice condition! The wooden top of the box is missing also, the light does work and there are extra needles and a screw driver and I guess you call them bobbins? This machine has been properly cleaned and oiled. The timing was checked and it sews very well. Please see the picture of the stitch. I even took the bobbin case a part and cleaned it so it has smooth thread draw. It sewed 6 layers of denim with ease. The finish on the deck has a bunch of needle marks were it is worn. The decals are darker around the oil holes. All chrome pieces have an aged appearance. Some parts like the needle clamp and thread tensioner are darker than others. The nose and round plates are a little dark in the grooves. The bobbin and throat plates are in good condition with fine scratches. There is no manual. I am selling the machine only because the shipping would be so high. Even at the $50 I will return unused shipping depends on where you live. Treadle band is missing and the lower part of the bobbin filler has been broken(can still fill the bobbin) Being that it is an old machine. Vintage Singer Toy/Childs Model Sewing Machine-Model 20 - Dates 1914-1925
Singer Model 20 Child's Sewing Machine 1914-1925 What a great estate find. I had fun doing the research on this one. This machine was first introduced in 1910 as a childs sewing machine. It was built and functions as a true machine. It is cast iron and metal and is meant to be clamped to a table to keep it steady while hand cranking. This version dates between 1914 and 1925. After 1925. They had stamped numbers on the thread path. I have a print out for the thread path( will include) These machines were intended for use by children to learn to sew. They stitch a chain stitch. there is no bobbin. There is a hook mechanism that catches the thread as the fabric moves forward. There is a stitch length adjustment as well. I cleaned this up a little. I know that more of the crud can be removed with solvents on the metal parts. I sewed a few ... moresamples with it and it really does a good job. Because it is a chain stitch. It can be easily removed. The clamp in the picture is not original.it is from my toolbox. I will include it because this tiny machine need to be anchored to the table in order to clamp it. This beautiful vintage Singer 99 sewing machine is all metal construction.The serial number is AA 701764 and dates to October 22. 1925 and was made in Elizabeth, N.J. The machine only sews one stitch(straight stitch) and it does so very well. It's heavy all metal construction renders a very smooth and vibtation free operation. This is a 3/4 size machine with a harp size of about 6.25 wide by 6.50 inches high which is plenty large enough for most projects. It uses standard 15x1 needles and a class 66 bobbins which are readly availabe. Most commonly available presser feet for short shank, vertical needle machines will work. Antique singer in working condition. This is a hand crank. The power cord is only for the light which also works. Model AA545546. You can look up the number on the singer websight. It was made in 1925. The case is in good shape for its age. Just some scrapes and dings but its solid. The top of the case dosent latch on to the bottom. Prob an easy fix for somebody handy. Its very heavy. 33 pounds.

Antique/vintage 1925 Singer 99 sewing machine head. Nice working condition.
Here is a dandy Singer model 99 sewing machine head. This is similar to the model 66. But a bit smaller and lighter. At the base it measures 12 1/8" X 6 9/16" It was built in Elizabeth, New Jersey on August 4, 1925 and has serial number AA547389. It comes with a downloaded manual and an extra bobbin. As can be seen from the photo, it sews a good stitch. The bobbin winder works fine. The stitched material is folded over so you can see both sides of the seam. There is some minor paint and gold detail loss due to wear. It has been oiled and runs nice and smooth. Still. This is a nice example of an 85 year old Singer. Needles and bobbins are still available at Wal Mart and other parts are readily available on Ebay. Sell to U.S. buyers only. Pay Pal only please. It does come with the original electric motor, chrome light, and pedal. Item is heavy. approx. 27 lbs. unpacked. The bottom of the wooden base also has a small crack in it. Sold AS-IS. Oiled and lubed, and as far as I can tell it is running like a sewing machine. The nice thing about these older machines. Is they were designed to do extremely heavy duty sewing- unlike today's machines, these will even sew leather. This has the"La Vencedora" pattern decals. And with a few exceptions, they are complete- the pictures tell the story best. It comes with a foot control. Very nice original 128 hand crank obtained from original owner. Bentwood base and top with lock and key that is functional. Bentwood top must be shipped separately and the postage for that is included in the listing price. This machine was originally a hand crank that had been converted to electric and I changed it back to a hand crank. The case base has a covered storage area for supplies. Included are 3 shuttle bobbins and the original shuttle. See pictures for serial number and stitch sample. Sews a lovely stitch. Bobbin winder works fine. The machine has been thoroughly cleaned and the decals are generally good without missing pieces and little silvering. LaVincendora decal pattern.
