Antique 1904 Singer Hand Crank Sewing Machine w/ Case and Accessories Model 128
Fantastic antique hand crank sewing machine. Made by Singer Sewing Co. I looked up the serial number on Singer's website and this machine dates to 1904! WOW! It comes with the wood case and a few accessories(see 11th picture) and the original instruction manual! see 12th pic) The accessories& manual were inside the side storage compartment on the machine. So I assume they go with the machine. I will include them with the purchase and the buyer can do with them as they like. Everything seems to be in working order. It has a"bullet" type bobbin. The base measures 12" x 6.5" The latch on the case may need to be repaired. When latched, the lid sometimes comes off when you hold it by both handles. Please remember that this machine is 109 years old, so there is some wear to the paint, decals and wood box. Nothing that ... moreaffects the performance. This vintage sewing machine is in very good condition and is a very beautiful machine but the light attachment is not with it. The machine works really well and is very smooth. The carrying case is wooden with a beautiful Singer logo(shown in the pictures) The carrying case is well worn but is still functional with the key included. Vintage 1923 Singer Model 128 Sewing Machine w/ Bentwood Case! Nice!
This auction is for a vintage Singer Sewing Machine. The Serial number is G0160939. According to the Singer Website. Its a 1923 model 128. Its in fair condition with its fair share of chipped paint, scuffs and scratches and messed up decals. Please see the photos. It turns fine though it could probably use a good cleaning and a tune up. I don't think I could ever talk my wife into using it. The motor runs however the belt is missing so it is running with no tension on it so can't really test it beyond that. The case is solid though I do not have the key so can't lock it. It could certainly benefit from a good sprucing up and rehabbing. Don't miss out on a great deal. It serial number is G0516383 which dates to 1923 according to the Singer website. It's in pretty remarkable shape considering its age. The light works and the machine seems to work when it is plugged in. I'm not a sewing machine expert(this belonged to my grandmother) So I'm not sure if it works properly or if all necessary parts are included. The serial number of this machine is AE690916. A very nice ebayer told me it is a model 128, made October 13, 1937. It has very nice gold graphics and they are in very nice condition. Actually, I only wiped off the dust on this machine so you could get an honest look at its appearance. All of the metal work is really nice and looks good. The two beautiful scrolled pieces the are a chrome finish are very nice and the pictures don't do them justice. The belt is broken from being dry out, but the motor runs as it should and is quiet. 1923 Singer Model 128 Sewing Machine, La Vencedora Decals, Original, Excellent!
This exceptional antique Singer sewing machine is fresh from a Saginaw. Michigan estate. It is being offered in ORIGINAL, estate-fresh condition. The condition of the enameling and decals is so amazing that I should probably keep this machine, however will pass it along to you for a reasonable price. It is a model 128 and the serial number G0151841 dates it from 1923. The decals, known as"La Vencedora, are in wonderful condition with very minimal wear. Any white spots are from my camera flash, not wear. The original nickel-plated parts are still bright and shiny with no rust. While I have not tested the motor, it appears to be in good condition…the balance wheel turns easily. It is housed in the original walnut bentwood case, which has age-appropriate scuffs and scratches, but no chips or damaged veneer. Included are the original"Singer"marked ... moremotor, motor-controller, and"Singerlight. The wiring is either in excellent condition or has been replaced. Also included are many accessories: Singer"marked screwdriver, six bobbins, shuttle, original key, thread snips, tin oiling can, an early tube of Singer motor lubricant(hardened) and ten additional needles! This Singer machine has been stored within the family for 37 years. A vintage La Vencedora Model 128 VS-3 Portable Singer Sewing Machine has serial# 9981006. Which dates it before 1900. Since the serial number does not match the model numbers that have electricity, I am thinking that it is a 1923 Portable Vibrating Shuttle Model 128 VS-3. This Old Singer Sewing Machine probably started out as a Hand Crank because of the Spoked Hand Wheel. Later Upgraded to Electric Foot Pedal. This Singer Sewing Machine has a beautiful. Ornate embossed decal pattern called La Vencedora by Collectors. The machine I would venture to say works; but the cloth cord is frayed and would recommend having it replaced. Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Early 50's Model 128-23 with Extras
Ok. So what I have is what I believe to be an 1920's or 1930's Singer sewing machine. Condition is overall good for its age. It has a couple of chips in its coating and a couple spots of surface rust on exposed metal. The wheel spins freely and the needle operates the way I think it should. I know it should go up and down and that's about all I know) All the arms and gears also spin with the rotation of the wheel. Please be advised that I DID NOT PLUG THIS MACHINE IN for fear of its age. I would not want to cause damage that I do not know how to fix. The machine has the Singer light and foot control that appear in good shape. In my research of this machine I have only found two others that have the same features that tell me it's from the 20's or 30's. My best description of these two things are as follows: 1) On the ... morebase( where the needle goes through the fabric and makes contact with the other string) it has a round plate with two rectangular plates that slide into the base from front and rear. All others are different. Pictured in picture 11. 2) There is reel that is connected to a gear and oval type cam gear that spins with the rotation of the machine. It has a rubber wheel that sits on the main drive that keeps it's rotation with the operating system. Again this is a feature that I have only found on 2 other machines on eBay sold items. Pictured in picture 12. This appears to be a table mount industrial or heavy duty machine. As it does not have a base. Obviously sits on a table or frame. It has two female portion elbows on the far side of the machine which I believe mounted to the table and enabled it to be raised or lowered into the table. Again all this is my best guess as to the model and year of the machine. Please feel free to message me with any questions or message me and school me on the model. It is fully equipped with attachments and is compact in a bentwood dome case. Pressure of the foot on the controller(foot pedal) regulates the speed. Vintage Singer Electric Sewing Machine Year: 1919. Model: 128. Serial Number: G7618971. This sewing machine comes with the wood case. Two instruction booklets-one for using Singer machines and one for adjusting Singer machines, and some miscellaneous parts. The coloring on the machine is still bright and vibrant. The case does have some scratches and dings. There is a split in the cord(photographed) so I did not want to plug this in and see if it works. Everything will be well padded. This 1952 Blacklable BLACKSIDE Singer 128 sewing machine is in excellent condition. AK980580(July 23 1952) It is in the CRINKLE finish and looks almost new. The shuttle is in perfect condition. I have serviced this machine and replaced the oil felt. Motorbrushes, bobbin rubber, motor belt. The motor was thoroughly disassembled and cleaned and brushes were replaced. The motor and light wires are in EXCELLENT condition. This machine has the LARGE chrome plated hand wheel. The face and back cover are SCROLL face Blackside. Lovely. 1924 Model 124 Singer Sewing Machine Manufacturing Co. sewing machine, with an original Hamilton-Beach Motor. The Hamilton Beach 1920 motor does work. The wiring is sketchy and will need some rewiring, but we tried it anyways. When the sewing machine is oiled I know it will work well too. The fly wheel does move but it is a little tight. The dome case base is in bad condition. It has water damage and the bottom is disintegrating, I will package this to the best of my abilities to keep it from falling apart in shipping. The lock is rusted and will need work. There is NO KEY, but a screw driver worked just fine to open it. The top of the dome lid needs a bit of oil and it should look lovely and refreshed immediately. There are accessories for the sewing machine included, some are rusted,and some are not, in their original green Singer ... morebox. The sewing machine has NO RUST and looks great. eBay only allows 12 pictures above this description. Be sure to see all of my pictures below this description. Up for sale is this Singer Sewing Machine. Model No. 128 from 1922. From a local garage sale, this machine comes with two instructions manuals and A Manual Of Family Sewing Machines. The Instruction booklets are both from 1921, the cover is loose from the booklet that covers Models Nos. 127 and 128. This machine was in good working order the last time it was used. The serial number is G9231440 making it a 1922 machine. I don't see any switch to engage the machine, knee or foot pedal. There is a receiver on the wire for such operations, and there is a knee control arm in the case. But the switch itself I don't see- but I'm not an expert. The case is in pretty rough shape, the latch doesn't stay closed so you must hold ... morethe machine by the bottom of the case to keep the lid on. The bottom of the case has had water or moisture damage. It is dry and not moldy, but the condition of the bottom looks like it was wet at one time. Overall this machine seems very solid. It weighs in at 32 pounds. 3 ounces with everything- case, paper instruction manuals and machine. It smells dry and seems fit for duty. But, since I am not a sewing machine guru, I'd say that this machine would be great for at least parts, should you find some problems with it. But I have no reason to not believe the previous owner who said it works well. I'm including many pictures to allow you a good look. Up for bid is this antique Singer Sewing Machine. After speaking with Singer I found out that this particular sewing machine was made in 1923 and it is a model 128. I plugged in the sewing machine and the sewing machine moves but the speed varies. That is the only testing that has been completed. It may need a little work to it to be fully operational. As you can see from the photos the sewing machine is a little worn. Some of the paint has rubbed off and there are a few areas where it has chipped off. It is a pretty old machine. The 128-18 is one of the first electric machines produced by Singer. It is embellished with the La Vincendora design and fancy worked metal end plate. It has a spoked handwheel. But when the mechanism is engaged manually, it does work, though it is a bit sluggish. The original key is included. It is somewhat worn through decades of use, but it will open and close the case.
