This is a great sewing machine in very clean condition. A little wear and some signs of use, but this has not had much use. It was purchased on payments, payments were not made, and it was repossessed. And it looks like it was never used again. Runs great, the light still works, hard to find them in this condition. What was in the case is what we have shown in the photos, not sure if it is complete. There is some damage to the covering on the case and a slight musty odor. No key. I don't know much about old sewing machines so I can't tell you what is in there or not. There is a motor. A case handle, a cord, a flywheel, misc screws and some fancy plates. Antique Singer "N" 1900 Portable Electric Sewing Machine Model 27 ?
Antique Singer sewing machine. Serial number N517950 I believe dates this to 1900 and makes it a model 27. Please use your judgement. As I am relying on online references to determine this information. Comes with the case, pedal, and the parts and spare bobbin spools shown in the 10th photo. Please note the power cord going to the motor is brittle. Cracked and will need replacement before using. I was careful to keep the bare wires separated to test the unit. And it does run and move the needle up and down. I have no clue how to sew, so that was the extent of my testing. The light does not work. Paint on machine has some wrinkling, especially on the deck. Could use an overall cleaning, this is just how it came to me directly from the provebial little old lady. Case has a bit of wear, bur overall in pretty good candition. Again. Even with the handling marks(paint chips, scratches and wear) from the last"119 years" Research has shown me that is a Singer Class 127 The Shuttle Bobbin"still in the machine" is Covered by two removable plates that slide off and on. The front plate is displaying Patent Dates Ranging from Oct 8th 1878 to July 19th 1887 The Power cords and wiring all looks like it is in great shape with newer wiring. Although usable it appears that the motor could use a new plug wire. It has been taped in one area. The light and light switch works very well. The old foot pedal with new wiring. Works as designed. The machine has the original storage case and although it is slightly tattered from years past it still functions as designed. The Bakelite Handle and Hasp all still work as designed. Although 119 years old t he machine still looks nice even with the handling marks. The Gold SPHINX highlights are all mostly there with some areas worn. I didn't have the heart to take it off. I pictured the woman creating it for her convenience many years ago.so I left it. All the parts move easly and smooth.The light even works. It is very vintage and shows its age but it is in extrodinary condition. I do not know anything about sewing machines but it does have a knee bar for machine operation. Negatives: case is pretty worn, especially on the bottom, bobbin cover plate is missing, light cord is taped, and paint accents are worn. Vintage Singer circa 1922 antique portable sewing machine with Dome Wood Case. Intricate art deco floral motif(reds. Greens, golds) Features working light, electric motor(motor works but wires are very frayed- need replacing/maintenance) and foot/knee pedals. This machine is serial number G8546850. I am certainly no expert on these machines but I did plug the unit up to verify that it will run. Upon plugging it in and pressing the foot control. The machine functioned but because of the frayed wires, it sparked so I unplugged it and put electrical tape around the areas for safety sake. Singer original carrying case and all accessories that came with it when it was originally sold in 1945-48. Still works great has a built-in light as well. Very light weight and easy to use. Have seen it on antique sites for up to 1.200 dollars. No scratches in paint or dents. Excellent condition.

Here is an awesome Singer electric portable sewing machine with carrying case. This dear lady was born on April 24. 1929 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This is a 3/4 size machine with the fancy red-eye ornamentation. For an 85-year old machine, it is in amazing condition. It comes with a correct Singer logo oil can and set of original attachments. The manual is from 1941, and although complete, it is a bit rough. The Singer Light works. It runs fine and sews a nice stitch(please see photo of sewn material that is folded to show both sides of the stitching) The belt is good and there is a new bobbin winder"tire" The power cord may be original. It is still nice and supple. The lockable wood case is in wonderful condition. All I did was clean, polish, and oil the machine. Everything stores inside the case. When I got it, the case was covered ... morewith paint drops. I carefully cleaned it and waxed it. The original finish is great and there are only a few minor bumps and bruises that can only be seen up close. This machine accepts any attachment for vertical shaft, low shank machines including attachments from decades later. The foot pedal works great. Of course the wiring for the pedal is worn as you might expect on a machine this old. I like the charm of its original state. The case does lock with a key so it is truly portable but I had to make a key to fit it as the original key was lost long. Long ago. There are typical signs of use and storage for a machine this old.
