1911 - Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet Side Drawer 6 Model 66-16 Red Eye
SINGER TREADLE SEWING MACHINE DRAWERS- RED EYE MODEL 66-116 Up for auction are six drawers and the two internal drawer holders/ cabinets from a Model 66-16 Red Eye Singer Treadle Sewing Machine from 1911. The drawers are made of quartersawn oak. Both the front of the drawers and sides of the cabinets have carved decorative accents. The drawers measure approximately 11-5/8" deep by 4-3/8" wide. The cabinet portions that hold the drawers measure 14" deep by 5-1/2" wide and approximately 14-3/4" tall. One drawer is missing its circular center pull as shown in the fourth photo. Aside from this flaw. The wood has only a couple of minor dents/ dings, and contact paper has been applied to the interior of the drawers. Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Model 66 Red Eye - 1917
Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cabinet with a 1917 model 66 head in it. In very nice shape for its age. All parts and wheels on the cast iron base move freely. The legs are marked Singer Manufacturing CO. The spring is intact on the belt shifter and comes with the metal pitman arm. The mounting holes are 11 1/8" center to center(front to back) and 22 3/8" center to center(length wise) and stands approximately 28 1/8" tall. Treadle will be dismantled for shipping. The head is a model 66 and the serial number on the machine is G5546378. Most of the decals are crisp and full of color and others show wear. There is little rust on metal parts. I turn the balance wheel and the needle goes up and down with little effort. The head could use an oiling. Antique Singer Model 66 Red Eye Treadle Sewing Machine. Pick-up in zip 12865 NY
This listing offers a vintage Singer model 66 Red Eye sewing machine. The serial number is G9081806 which dates this to 1921. I am not a sewer. So I cannot state the ability of this unit to stitch. But all moving parts appear to move and turn very smoothly without any hitch or hesitation. As stated in condition description- The machine shows many scratches and signs of overall wear from many years of use. The wood work surface has significant wear. But is still solid. The cast iron treadle base is solid with no signs of breakage. Treadle works smoothly. Please see pictures as they are a part of the description. There is some minor rusting and corrosion. Etc. I guess I could go on with every little imperfection, but I think you will find this a very operable machine with a great base and restorable woodwork. An atique singer manufacturing co. sewing machine. serial number 2085646. model number G0570643. the rare red eye paint job this was only used between 1910 and the late 1920's. it is a model- 66, born feb 5 1924 the B.T. motor was designed by Phillip DIEHL of the DIEHL MFG CO. it was the first successful small motor that set off the electric sewing machine craze. this sewing machine still works properly. has an electric foot pedal and carrying case. the case is from the 50's era. the bottom of the sewing machines case opens up for storage. does need to be cleaned but I will leave that to a pro so I dont mess anything up. many thanks to the sewing machine buff who gave me the great info. shipping is just a guess may or may not be more depending on where you are from me, buyer will ... morebe responsible for any increase in shipping. if it is less I will refund the difference. All of the wood motifs are in perfect condition.The machine is gorgeous and still works.so quiet. The belt snapped when I was sewing but easily replaceable. The machine comes with many accessories. It does come with the original manual that has aged to a parchment. It also comes with extra needles. The serial number is hard to read. I looked several times with a variety of magnifying glasses and came up with G8446206 each time. The problem is that when I looked up that number( to view table) I got the following information: Model 15, 50000 manufactured, November 3, 1920. I was puzzled by the Model 15 and looked around to see if a Model 15 had the red eye decals. I don't see any site that says the model 15 ever had those decals(all red eyes were model 66) so I suspect that I read the number wrong or the information in the table is wrong. It's definitely an old machine, so I just don't know. Any help would be appreciated. to see an interesting profile of the Model 66. The cabinet is a 7 drawer affair. The middle drawer is locked and I don't have the key. I can access the back side of the drawer from inside the cabinet and can say that it is full of bobbins. The other drawers have various items. 1919 Singer "Red Eye" Model 66 Vintage Portable Sewing Machine Serial # G7184365
This auction is for a vintage Singer Sewing Machine that belonged to my late Mother-In-Law. Based on the Serial Number G7184365. My internet research on the Singer Website shows that it is a Model 66 one of 50,000 released July 10, 1919. I have not done anything to this machine other than wipe it down with a dry cloth. The light works. The motor works, and the foot goes up and down. The tension lever does go up and down and does hold tension. I did not sew anything with it, but I did this video to show that it does work. The belt is a little loose, so it needed a helping hand to get started. The patina is not perfect. There is crackling in the finish(see photos) There are 6 bobbins included in this sale. There is also a travel case, it is in fair condition and the handle is missing. The following information came from the internet When Singers brought out the model 66 it established them once again as the best in the business. A few years earlier they had bought and closed down the massive Wheeler& Wilson Company who had a very successful high-arm model(No9) Singer's ability to use this knowledge proved brilliant. The 66 went on to become a favorite among many sewers of the day. Some were elaborately decorated with Egyptian designs which were popular at the time culminating some years later in 1924 with Howard Carter's amazing discovery of Tutankhamen. The 66 had a fully enclosed needlebar. Round bobbin and a horizontal oscillating hook. Many modern machines still follow this principle. It was a new machine for a new century. The Singer 66 was the first sewing machine. That produced a near perfect stitch. A 1914 hand crank red eye singer model 66. Serial#G3807136. Comes with a beautiful wooden case that has a working key and 4 bobbins! One of the hinges of the case is broken. The crank works great! The needle moves smoothly. But i can't seem to thread the bobbin out to the top. You can wind the bobbin, but you just need to put pressure on that specific part where it winds the bobbin. Being smaller than most others by having one single drawer on the inside. The machine itself has almost 100% of its original decals still in tact! I only saw slight wear to the bottom left corner decal; the rest look like new. The wiring is not frayed and will not need replacing. This is a beautiful 1922 Singer Red Eye model 66 sewing machine with almost 100% of its original decals still in tact! I only saw wear to the bottom left corner. Hand wheel, and a couple other minor spots. The wiring is not frayed and will not need replacing. All original 1910 machine runs smoothly and quietly. An example of the stitching included. All the compontents- the motor. Cords, belt, bobbin winder, light, etc. are in amazingly good condition. It's the only machine Singer made like this) it sews very well. it powered by a Singer RFJ5-8 0.8 amp(made in Canada) motor. the motor is in great condition and runs very strongly. i serviced. up for sale is a 1920's singer sewing machine and parlor cabinet. The serial number is C6966736. I did some research on that number and found out it was made in Germany. The sewing machine itself is in good WORKING order. Theres not major damage and the art work on the machine looks beautiful as you can see in the pictures. The parlor cabinet however needs restoration. There some spots in the top face that are coming up and the left side needs to be pushed in to line up with everything As you can see in the pictures. Vintage 1924 Singer Sewing Machine Red Eye Model 66 Tiger Oak 7 Drawer Cabinet
Going by the Singer serial number website. This is a 1924 Model 66"Redeye" treadle machine. The machine has an electrification kit from H. Adler& Co. added. So it does have a two receptacle plug on the case back for a light(which in working order) and the motor. The pulley and motor could all use some lubrication and adjustment as it does squeak and slip when run. It is also missing a bobbin plate by the needle and maybe some other minor items that I am not familiar with. So that leads to the cabinet that is a bit of a confusing picture. The cast iron base does not show that it was ever a treadle. I believe the machine was added to this cabinet and that machine and cabinet are not original to each other. Now that I have stated all the things are a bit of a distraction from the overall piece. Let me talk about what it does have ... moregoing. The decaling on the machine is still very strong and the serial number plate of G0792897 is attached. It runs and can be converted back to a treadle or have some minor work to get it functioning better as an electric machine. The cabinet is about as I good as I have seen them. Very strong grain that is in plus condition from an abuse standpoint. This is when they made veneer about 3 times thicker then it is today. Truly a gorgeous cabinet. The 3 drawers on each side are still all in above average condition as well as the thin front drawer. I have shown views from all around. The base has the classic Singer insignia of the time and the surround around it reads"Singer Mfg. Co. I would keep it but I just don't have the room. This is a model 66 Singer Sewing Machine with the Red Eye pattern. Graphics are in great condition with only slight wear. Comes with a wood cabinet with 5 drawers. Also comes with some attachments. G" Series was made on 02/28/1922 in Elizabethport, NJ. 50.000 were made that day. As with most things that are 93 years old the Cabinet shows it's age. But it is solid& sturdy. RED EYE machine also shows signs of age& use. Some of the decals are faded. Japaning is not as shiny as it could be. It's pretty clean on the inside& recently oiled. Sews like a dream. All drawers are solid. Sturdy& move in& out nicely. Recently cleaned& painted cast iron legs& treadle. Good leather ... morebelt. Six drawers full of bobbins. Feet, accessories, zig-zag attachment. This is one of the best Singer Model 66’s that I have had the pleasure of owning. This machine shows very light. Gentle use and the decals on the bed are bright and bold. The machine works as intended to include the light and foot pedal. The serial number on this machine is G0611519 which according to the Singer website makes this a 1920’s machine. This does have a case complete with a cover. The handle on the cover is broken.

I know nothing about sewing machines. But this one appears to be in good condition. The serial# indicates a 1916 Model 66 Red Eye. It seems to work well, and the light works. The case is also in good condition. It is HEAVY! Weighs 36 pounds. There are extra needles. There are a couple of rust spots on the head plate. Look at the photos carefully. Early 1900 Singer Model 66 Red Eye Treadle Sewing Maching Head Base Cast Iron
This is an early 1900's Singer Model 66 Red Eye Treadle sewing machine that belonged to my husband's grandmother. This includes the machine and cast iron base. The cord or belt is included. But is broken. The treadle works, and the needle moves, so I would guess all it needs is a belt. It is stamped with serial# G4209769. Most of the paint is still good with the exception of the back of the machine. As can be seen in the picture. Local pickup only once payment received and cleared by PayPal. Thank you for looking.
