Antique Singer Model 20 Hand Crank Child's Sewing Machine For Girls 1914
This is a really nice early Singer sewing machine in very good condition! As you can tell by the phots. This is dusty from disuse and I imagine it needs an oiling, although all the parts move freely. The black paint and gold decals are in exceptional condition, some age oxidation to the nickel as would be expected, but as I mentioned it has not been cleaned in any way and I suspect some is just dirt. This does have the threads guides, dating it to 1914 or a little later. It is missing the screw behind the needle slot and the fabric guide, otherwise it appears to be all complete and is definitely all original, with a beautiful form and fancy spokes. No wear or damage to the wood crank handle, I don't think this little gem has seen much use! It has been patiently waiting for a century for a little care and a lot of use, perfect for very ... morefine work and an excellent display piece! This auction is for an antique childs mini No. 20 Singer sewing machine. It comes with the original instructions. Hold down clamp and a pack of 4 needles. Singer 1914 Redeye Sewing Machine Excellent
Singer Model 66. 1914 Redeye sewing machine G8344012. This machine is in lovely condition with decals in fantastic shape. The paint is beautiful and shiny with no crackling or scratches. I had a hard time getting all the dust to not stick so it misrepresents the black which has no pitting, etc. The scroll plate is stunning- a piece of art in itself. Machine is set up for electric sewing with a vintage light and bakelite foot pedal. It can easily be changed by removing those items for a treadle cabinet. It sews a perfect stitch. There is no rust present anywhere(nor on the chrome) It comes in a vintage cloth covered style case which has some evidence of repair in the past.

Singer "Red Eye" Model 66 Antique Treadle Sewing Machine Head 1914 Excellent
A 1914 hand crank red eye singer model 66. Serial#G3807136. Comes with a beautiful wooden case that has a working key and 4 bobbins! One of the hinges of the case is broken. The crank works great! The needle moves smoothly. But i can't seem to thread the bobbin out to the top. You can wind the bobbin, but you just need to put pressure on that specific part where it winds the bobbin. Everything is very well oiled and nicely maintained. As you can see from the photographs it is in really nice condition, considering its almost 100 years old! The woodwork on drawers and sideboards is highly detailed and in GREAT shape. The detailing on the machine is still intact, except for where the finish has worn off in an area. This item is available for local pickup or shipping within the lower 48 United States only. Description: A nice Singer Model 15 sewing machine with Tiffany(Gingerbread) decals. And serial number G3682500. The serial number was issued June 10, 1914 in an allotment of 25,000. I believe this particular model is a 15-30. I had planned to restore this machine but with an upcoming cross country move in the not-too-distant future, I need to sell some of my vintage and antique sewing machine collection. The machine is in working condition but needs cleaning& adjustment; everything moves just fine, but since I haven't had an opportunity to do the needed cleaning/adjusting, have not sewed with it. The decals are largely intact, but have the wear and tear seen on many of these century-old machines. Cosmetically the machine shows wear to the painted surface and decals but mechanically it runs smooth and strong. The model 66-1 is a horizontal mount top drop in bobbin machine. Antique Singer Sewing Machine 1914 #66 with "Red Eye" decal design
A 1914 Singer Sewing Machine#66. Serial# G 3666339 with the"Red Eye" decal design in good condition. The machine does work, but the belt slips. The Brother motor on the back of the machine works well and spins fast but does not take up the belt very well, may be a simple tension adjustment but I am not a repair expert so I will leave that to the Collector. It appears to be missing part of the tension adjustment knob on the front. I have not cleaned the piece and it does have a slight musty odor that will most likely dissipate with time and restorative cleaning. There is a foot pedal as shown and the black plug receptacle has the words, light" and"motor" molded into the plastic. All indications are that this is a very sought after design. Vintage Singer Toy/Childs Model Sewing Machine-Model 20 - Dates 1914-1925
Singer Model 20 Child's Sewing Machine 1914-1925 What a great estate find. I had fun doing the research on this one. This machine was first introduced in 1910 as a childs sewing machine. It was built and functions as a true machine. It is cast iron and metal and is meant to be clamped to a table to keep it steady while hand cranking. This version dates between 1914 and 1925. After 1925. They had stamped numbers on the thread path. I have a print out for the thread path( will include) These machines were intended for use by children to learn to sew. They stitch a chain stitch. there is no bobbin. There is a hook mechanism that catches the thread as the fabric moves forward. There is a stitch length adjustment as well. I cleaned this up a little. I know that more of the crud can be removed with solvents on the metal parts. I sewed a few ... moresamples with it and it really does a good job. Because it is a chain stitch. It can be easily removed. The clamp in the picture is not original.it is from my toolbox. I will include it because this tiny machine need to be anchored to the table in order to clamp it. Antique 1914 Cast Iron SINGER #20 Miniature Child's Sewing Machine 8 Spoke
1914 Singer Model 20 TSM This was Singer's second model design and it features a black enameled cast iron body. Nickel plated spiral handwheel with 8 spokes. The thread tension regulator was added to this model(which the earlier 1910 era 4-spoke model lacked) but the thread route is not numbered on this model machine-that would come as an"improvement" on later models. This 1914 model is one of the harder Singer toys to find. Metal on wheel shows wear, sewing plate has surface rust as well as the other unpainted metal parts. For the most part the black enamel paint is in good condition with exception of a few areas around the base, Gold leaf paint also has a small amount of wear. Appears to work nicely. 1910/1914 Child's Singer Model 20 Miniature Toy Sewing Collection
Rare boxed Singer 1910 and early 1914 Model 20 Sewing Machines and Collection of ephemera. Both machines are seized from sitting the better part of a century. But are otherwise in excellent condition in original boxes with original clamps and hard to find original needle packs. Both boxes have a split where the top and one side have separated from each other, but are otherwise completely intact and in pretty good shape for being over 100 years old. The 1910 has the original flat screwdriver, thread and instructions, and there is also an additional small screwdriver that came with it. The 1914 has a reproduction screwdriver and the instructions are from a later version(original Singer, not reproduction) The 1914 machine is the very rare early version that retained the base clamp boss of the 1910 model. These were almost certainly produced ... moreonly in 1914… the later version having the double ribbed clamp boss more commonly seen. The 1914 box clearly pictures the un-ribbed clamp boss as well. ABOUT THE SINGER 20: When the Singer 20 toy sewing machine was introduced in 1910 it was in a league of its own. Although the Singer 20 was of a simple chain stitch design requiring just 40 components. It was very well engineered with a cast iron body. Compared to other toy sewing machines of its era, and indeed since then until the present, it is far more like a miniature adult machine than a child’s toy. When other manufacturers wanted to enter the same market, many decided to do so with a close copy of the Singer 20. After the end of WW2 several U.K. companies such as Essex. Grain and Vulcan decided to produce toy sewing machines. The first machines from all of these makers very ... moreclosely resemble the Singer 20. The Japanese made Lead(All Lead) machines were produced from 1931 until 1941. These seem to have been even closer replicas of the Singer 20. Antique Singer Child's Sewing Machine I believe this is the Singer Model 20 Miniature Toy Sewing Machine. It has the 7-spoke handwheel and a numbered thread path. The machine does work. But needs a good cleaning. There are dents on the sewing plate, and some tarnish on the nickel plating which needs to be cleaned and polished. The black enamel is in very nice condition, as well as the decals, and the bottom has a green felt padding. Measurements are 7"length x 4"width x 6"height. Cleaned and polished. Sewing machine head only. In working condition. Though still a little on the stiff side. I think the oil just needs to be worked in a bit more. It has scratches on the finish, chips along the edges, and one area near the plates has a chip, please see photos. Chrome has worn off several parts. Restored 1914 Singer "Tiffany" Model 15-30 Treadle Sewing Machine Sews Very Well
this listing is for a: nicely Restored 1914 Singer"Tiffany"or"Gingerbread" decals Model 15-30 Treadle Sewing Machine that Sews Very Well(see my sew test) this machine is hand crank and/or electric motor compatible(it has the screw hole& mounting area for these add-ons under the hand wheel) this machine operates very smoothly and sews very well. it sews very straight stitches. the feed dogs can be dropped all the way down below the needle plate for free motion sewing& the like. i added a new red spool pin felt. A new#90 needle& rubber tire on the bobbin winder wheel. this machine has a patent date on it's slide plate that reads: PATENTED USA JUNE 14- 1910. all the parts on this machine were removed/cleaned/polished/adjusted/improved and such where applicable except the upper shaft(and i's ends) The inner ... morepart for the stitch length knob, the connecting rod for the feed dogs between the upper shaft and lower parts, the feed dog itself(these parts were only cleaned& oiled if needed) the underside of the machine was cleaned and repainted gloss black(some areas twice) then coated twice with gloss polyurethane. the upper side, the belt guard& the hand wheel were all repainted with gloss black paint(some areas twice) and then given up to 4 coats of gloss polyurethane. this machine comes with it's original treadle hinges set screws. they are cleaned and in their proper places. this machine does not have the hinges. as always: the bobbin winder. The tension unit, all the part on the sewing head, the hook/bobbin case area& all the parts on the underside of the machine were completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, oiled where needed, sanded/filed where needed, reassembled& adjusted. the original bobbin was already wound well with black thread. so i used it in my sew test. i tested both bobbins on the winder and it's working very well now. overall. This is a very fine sewing and very nice looking sewing machine. it's a machine with an all steel drive-line

This is a 1914 vintage Singer Treadle machine with original table. Cast iron base and accouterments. All gears work smooth and proper, just a beautiful artifact from an older time. As shown in the photos there is no model number printed on the machine, just the serial number on a placard with which I called Singer and they were able to trace the number and identify the machine.
