This is a great antique toy or salesman sewing machine with neat original tole painting. Looks as if all is there except a needle. Parts turn like they should. And smoothly. Condition is nice with very minor/expected age-related paint and chrome wear, but barely significant enough to say so! It's antique, and it has survived well, especially for a toy. It sits on a wooden plaque and the machine works manually. The front shows the Singer Mfg. Co. tradesmark. Measures 19 1/2" tall and the base is 9 1/2" x 6 1/2" All is in good condition and the lamp lites well. A very nice rare unique collectible.

This is for one Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Mini Salesman Sample made in Great Britain with Emblem. As you can see in the photos. This is an adorable little machine. On the front of this machine is a gold emblem that says The Singer Manfg Co Trademark. Made in Great Britain is written in gold as well as Singer on both sides. All of the mechanical aspects work. The wheel is a little tight though. As you can see on the last photo, there is what appears to be a serial number. It appears that it may be missing a screw at the top or possibly the thread holder. Antique American Gem Salesman Sample/Toy Sewing Machine
American Gem Sewing Machine w/ Speed Enhancer This is a great looking. And very hard to find antique child size sewing machine. The overall condition is good +. The black japanned finish is nice with minor losses at the base and along the edges. The decoration is present with miner wear to the decals. The Logo American Gem is somewhat faded but still present. For a machine that is approx. 130 years old it still remains in great condition The typical American Gem cast iron sewing machine has a interesting design base that was meant to resemble a real treadle stand. It is unique among toy sewing machines in this respect. And this design sewing machine is a favorite with toy sewing machine collectors and collectors of early full-size machines as well. It is approx 6" across the legs, and stands about 9" tall. This one has the doubly ... morehard to find speed enhancer built into the design. The sewing plate on this example is marked"Pat. Apld For" And in both of the references on sewing machines I have there is no information on the actual maker or any further patent information. I would estimate this machine to date from the 1880's or so from the look and decoration. It sews a simple chain stitch like other early machines from this era, and a special note should be made that it has oil or lubrication holes at the important bearing points, a feature that would indicate this machine was also marketed as a small working machine for seamstresses and not a simple toy. This sewing machine is all-original with no breaks or cracks in the casting and it has not been touched up or restored. This early sewing machine is sure to be a standout in any sewing machine collection! And a really fine addition of Americana for your collection! Shipping- I will ship international. Hello.We are selling this little sewing machine for a family friend who's Aunt recently passed.His uncle passed a couple years ago,So he has the job of cleaning out the house.She was a seamtress for years at her house.PLEASE keep checking my other listings as I am going to be listing her big sewing machines as well. I have never seen on of these little ones before,and I showed it to my brother,and he seems to think it might be a salesman sample? we just dont know anything about it.Its built very well,and I think if it had a needle it would sew.I really like it.Could use a light cleaning,and a couple drops of oil.But it does turn easy,and it seems to work just fine.

Singer girls, Salesman sample, miniture real sewing machine, not a toy w/box
This is not a salesmans sample but in my research I find many people calling this model that so I just want to be clear. this does come with the original box that is in an ok condition considering it's age. the machine itself has the little"c" clamp that came with it to hold it to a table. you can tell it is original because the somewhat v shape of the clamp end matches that of the one on the machine. it also has a couple extra sewing needles that are in a neet little package. noy sure that these are original but they are singer.
