This 1908 Singer 66K full size treadle head Sewing Machine with serial number#V757794 is in good condition and was probably manufactured at the Singer plant in Scotland. This machine has the"Brown Lotus" decal set which was used only on the Singer 66. This Singer sewing machine is in good condition. The balance wheel turns smoothly with power and ease. The decal set, Brown Lotus, is in good condition with light wear on the head and working surface. The paint is in good condition with light wear and a few paint chips. This machine comes with three original bobbins. Needle, and copy of the original manual. I get a lot of questions about the size of various machines. Up for auction is a Singer Model 66 Hand Crank Sewing Machine with the Lotus Decals. Case, Knee Pedal and Light Attachment. Here’s what you get: Model 66 Sewing Machine Model#Y1675332. Dating it to 1921. The lotus petal decals on the machine are vibrant and are in good condition. I tested the machine and it works. The machine has a Singer motor on the back right side and an electrical cord. I'm not sure if it was electrified or if it came with a motor. There are some scratches and marks on the top and top side of the machine. Knee Pedal. The cord on the knee pedal needs to be rewired. When I tested the cord on the knee pedal. It popped and one side split from the pedal. Light Attachment with bulb that works. Case. It looks to be homemade and covered in some type of brown tape. Antique Singer Model 66 Lotus Design Treadle Sewing Machine With Nice Base Clean
I wish I knew more about this machine. It's really facinating the technology that was in place 100 + years ago. It has an Oak cabinet. Which does show some wear. The cast iron legs are remarkably clean and have no rust or damage. It appears that there was originally a wooden cover or table that folded over and sat on top of the machine when not in use. That is missing. The small caster wheels all turn freely and roll easily. There is a drawer in the front of the cabinet to store accessories. But it has some damge to the top and back of it(see photos) The machine itself is clean. But really needs a thorough overhaul to really get it up to specifications. I am able to operate the treadle. And the machine operates. The feed dogs move, the presser foot moves up and down. Even the bobbin winder works, which I was really impressed by. The plate ... morethat covers the bobbin area has a date of 1901 on it. But that is a patent date, so it's newer than 1901. I don't hear any odd sounds. Or noises when it runs, and other than some patina on the nickle plated parts, it's not too horrible looking. The Lotus decals are worn in spots. And there is some corrisponding wear on the cabinet from feeding material through the machine. Again. I wish I had more knowledge of what I had here, perhaps someone can chime in and help out. Shipping will no doubt be a little pricey. But I can package the machine seperately from the base, and I understand the base will break down into it's seperate sections. The other option is local pick up. I would be happy to meet someone within 100 miles of Milwaukee. And I will charge a flat 50 cents per mile to deliver the machine to meet you. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE When foot pedal is pushed down the needle moves. I do not know how to thread it so I can’t tell you if it will stitch. The light does not come on. Quite possibly just needs a new bulb. The first number or letter in the Serial number is hard to read could be a 6 or 0 or C or G 6626431. The only thing that makes sense is a G according to the singer website. that would make it a 1919 model The following description is about the condition of the outside of the case Case measures 17” long. 8” wide, 13” tall. Woven material around base has water stains on all 4 sides. Also has dirt& discoloration. Woven material has been damaged in 3 areas on 1 side. Other sides have very little damage. All corners have wear on the woven material. Woven material around the top has dirt. Stains and discoloration. ... more3 or 4 corners have wear. 2 of them are not too bad. The brown material placed over the wooden case has a few scratches. But not bad for age. 1 good size scratch is white. Another white scratch is smaller Brown material on handle has come off in an area measuring 1” x 0.5” Metal on handle is discolored Bottom of case has some wear. Mostly on corners, 1 corner is missing brown material around the outside boarder. THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBES THE CONDITION OF THE WEAR ON THE PAINT ON THE MACHINE WHEEL AND RIGHT SIDE PLUS MOTOR The place where the spool of thread goes has flowers painted around it. Only one flower really shows some wear. The steam, leaves and red and gold base of the flower is missing, plus part of a pedal. A little wear and some dirt on the large silver wheel. Black paint on the large wheel has a 9 spots. Where paint is missing on the spokes. Black paint missing on the rim in some spots. The flowers next to the wheel has some wear. More wear on the far side, away the person sewing. Paint wear on the metal“arm” attached under the wheel(it is holding the motor up) On the arm the original metal Singer plate says CAT NO RF-48 S.S. This is such a beautiful part of history and it comes to you complete in original condition. It is a 1909 Singer machine that was removed from its treadle base. It is a model 66 with the Egyptian Green or otherwise known as Lotus design of decals. The serial number is D1311457 which dates it to 1909. This machine is in very good condition and the decals are crisp and I would classify the decals as excellent. Please see pics as there is a little fading near the bobbin case. The machine does need some cleaning and a good polishing but it is free moving and all complete. This vintage sewing machine was manufactured in 1912. It is a Singer model 66 with a beautiful. Vibrant Egyptian Lotus decal set. This seems to be a fully functioning sewing machine. It turns smoothly& and the arm mechanism moves well. There is no stitching sample as we don't have needles. Needles are easy to find and inexpensive on eBay. There are many other accessories as well. The serial number is F577684. The machine comes with extra bobbins. And the attachments pictured. There is some rust on the attachments. The pictures are worth a 1000 words and show fully the condition of this machine. We've tried to show as many as we can. There is some corrosion on the accessories that doesn't show in the photos. Up for auction is an early 66k Antique Singer Sewing Machine. This 1910 manufacture 66K was made in Clyderbank. Scotland. The serial number is F625964. This machine is decorated with the early Lotus Flower design. It also has the early unusual low bobbin winder and the back clamp for the presser foot and other accessories. This is a nice looking machine that should be in a collection and displayed to show its neat features. We have only had it in our collection but I see no reason that it could not be used for sewing if you want. All internal parts are there, it operates as all older Singers do, smooth and quiet. As with all old machines, it should get a complete cleaning, lubing, and adjusting. Please see pictures. As an added note. We bubble wrap these machines, pack in a box, then pack that box within another box with solid foam around ... morethe first. Restored Serviced Portable 1904 Singer Lotus Model 66 Sewing Machine Sews Well
this listing is for a: Restored Serviced& Portable 1904 Singer Lotus Model 66-1 Sewing Machine(it's a model 66-1 because the feed dog screw is on back of presser foot shaft.supposedly. It's the only machine Singer made like this) it sews very well(see my sew test example) it's powered by a Singer BZ 6-8 0.53 amp made in the U.S.A. motor. the motor is in great condition and runs strongly& smoothly(i opened it up and cleaned the commutator& the brushes) there are 3 metal bobbins and a second presser foot. i serviced. Cleaned-up& fixed-up this sewing machine and it's carrying case. the machine still has visible wear to it's original decals. the upper part of the sewing machine is still not completely smooth even after i touched-up some of the decals and repainted the black paint areas and applied a polyurethane ... morecoating over both.there still is some wear, scuff marks, dirt& staining on the exterior of the case. i applied a coating of polyurethane sealant by hand to the exterior of the case. the case is solid, in nice condition and is very clean inside& under the sewing machine. basically: i cleaned and adjusted the foot controller(cleaned all the contacts& replaced it's wires) cleaned inside the motor, disassembled, cleaned& adjusted the bobbin winder(and wound a bobbin) took out and cleaned all the parts in the sewing head area, took apart& cleaned the tension unit, created parts out of a hard rubber mat so the motor and it's mounting frame wound fit snugly to the machine.i also thoroughly cleaned, oiled& adjusted the machine, polished chrome, cleaned other metal areas, touched up some black paint chip areas along the edge and underneath the machine, cleaned up the case, added 3 new rubber feet/pads to the bottom of the case and sew tested this machine. overall, this is a nice looking machine that sews very well in a nice and solid carrying case. it's a nice antique. look at& study my pictures for more detail& visual information. for tho

singer antique treadle sewing machine exotic lotus cabinet! NEED GONE
This is truly a beautiful machine and table. This machine dates many many years ago even with the serial number plain in site all I could get was that it was made between 1907-1920 not sure exact year. The machine has wear I have not cleaned because I do not want to mess with original state. The bottom cast iron treadle is almost perfect. no rust on bottom if there is I cannot see or overlooked it. from drawers down the wood is in terrific shape. It has the tiger stripes in oak. The top of cabinet has some bubbles and top veneer peeling off a little could be restored by a professional which I am not. Unless you just want a working machine I don't think it would take much. This machine has MANY or original pieces including the actual manual that says 66 on front of it the serial number is H313630 I was told that it worked. I can see that ... morethe plate on machine needs to be replaced I don't believe it is with the pieces. There also is a really interesting key butterfly if you will shape but. Does not fit in key holes. The woodwork is amazing in itself if I do not sell ill either restore it or make into a table not sure. I know there are collectors that value these time pieces and since it is not my family heirloom I am will to sell. I received from a neighbor who's grandmothers it was and they just wanted rid of it so I bought it without plans of what I was going to do with it. This is very heavy so cannot ship. All drawers slide very well except top left sticks a bit but does pull out atw. and the middle that still has original velvet molds for pieces needs repaired. Comes with what appears to be original instruction booklet, oil can and misc. accessories as shown in photo. When closed, cabinet measures 32.5" long x 17.75"deep x 31" tall. When top is opened the length of piece is 46.25" Very heavy piece. Local Pickup Only by you or your packing/shipper. Antique Ornate Singer Lotus Treadle Sewing Machine Quartersawn Oak Model 66
This is an antique Singer model 66 treadle sewing machine in the Lotus pattern. It's in great shape for the age so it shows some wear being from 1906. But overall it is in great shape. The top has two small parts which have slightly bubbled and there are a few spots of missing veneer next to the machine hinges. The left side of the top of the cabinet shows some discoloration from age. The cabinet maintains its original quartersawn oak finish with a beautiful grain and is very ornate. The front drawer is missing one small part of the ornate decal, but it doesn't detract much from the piece at all. The front drawer is unique in that it has indentations for each specific attachment. I found some additional pieces that were missing from the picture shown inside one drawer. It would be neat to have each slot filled. The sewing machine ... moreitself turns freely and shows some wear to the decals. Overall it is is good shape as well. It likely will need a typical servicing. The original leather belt is in one of the drawers and it has a piece of tape on one end of it.
